William December "Billy Dee" Williams Jr. (born April 6, 1937) is an American actor, artist, singer, and writer. He has played in about 50 movies and has appeared in numerous TV series since 1959.

His most famous role is undoubtedly Lando Calrissian in the original ''Franchise/StarWars'' trilogy films. He ''adores'' the role, having voiced the character in nearly every piece of media he's appeared in since, be it a video game, audiobook, or cartoon, and ultimately reprising it in live action with ''Film/TheRiseOfSkywalker''.

!!Tropes in his works:

* CastingGag: He finally got to play ComicBook/TwoFace -- as a voice acting role -- in ''WesternAnimation/TheLegoBatmanMovie''. He only appeared as Harvey Dent before, in ''Film/{{Batman|1989}}''.
* CoolOldGuy: At 81 years old, he went through a grueling workout routine to get back into shape to play Lando again.
* IconicSequelCharacter: Lando Calrissian was introduced in the second ''Star Wars'' film to be produced, ''The Empire Strikes Back''.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: He played Harvey Dent in Creator/TimBurton's ''Batman'', but bowed out from reprising the role as Two-Face in ''Film/BatmanForever'', which was then picked up by Creator/TommyLeeJones. Apparently, the reason he didn't reprise the role in ''Forever'' was because the chemicals would've made one side of his face lighter, and it would've raised issues about race and whatnot. [[note]]on top of that, Music/MichaelJackson had attracted controversy due to bleaching his skin from black to white from multiple cosmetic surgeries; Jackson was also considered for the role of The Riddler, so if Williams had become Two Face, he would've been seen mimicking Jackson.[[/note]]
