8	Richard Crispin Armitage (born 22 August 1971 in Huncote, England) is a British actor.

10	He is most well known as Thorin Oakenshield in ''Film/TheHobbit'', Lucas North in ''Series/{{Spooks}}''/MI-5, John Thornton in the adaptation of ''Literature/NorthAndSouth'', and Guy of Gisbourne in ''Series/RobinHood''.
