A horror anthology comic book series based on the [[Franchise/{{Goosebumps}} Goosebumps franchise]], published by [[Creator/IDWPublishing IDW]]. Starting in 2017, the series consists of four story arcs, and the creative team in charge of the comics changes with each new arc. The first arc, ''Monsters at Midnight'' began in October of 2017, the second arc, ''Download and Die!'' began in March of 2018, and the third arc, ''Horrors of the Witch House'' began in May of 2019. A fourth, ''Secrets of the Swamp'', began in September of 2020.

Not to be confused with ''Goosebumps Graphix'', which were straight forward adaptations of specific books.
----
!!This series provides examples of these tropes

* AdaptationalAttractiveness: [[spoiler: [[Literature/GiveYourselfGoosebumps Sybil Wicked]] ]] was originally described as having a [[spoiler: horrific patchwork face.]] While her depiction in ''Download and Die!'' keeps the [[spoiler:patchwork face part]], the horrific part is toned down quite a bit, especially in the [[https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/goosebumps/images/a/a5/Sybil_Wicked_2_-_Goosebumps_%28comic_series%29.JPG/revision/latest?cb=20171008234709 concept art.]]
* AdaptationalDiversity: The books generally featured kids who were white, or were at least assumed to be, with only the occasional minority character and [[AmbiguouslyBrown possible minority]]. ''Download and Die!'' and ''Secrets of the Swamp'' are the opposite, with Flips and Lilly being the only white characters.
* AmusementParkOfDoom: Horrorland is the setting for ''Monsters at Midnight''. In this version it's run by Slappy and there are fewer Horrors seen.
* AnnoyingYoungerSibling: Ginny in ''Monsters at Midnight'', although somewhat downplayed compared to most examples from the main series.
* AscendedExtra: Former ''Goosebumps'' mascot Curly the Skeleton is an actual character in the comics, acting as Slappy's [[TheDragon Dragon]] in ''Monsters at Midnight'' and ''Download and Die!''
* AdvertisedExtra: [[spoiler: Keith]] is featured prominently on the cover of Issue 3 of ''Download and Die!'' even though he only has a small appearance overall.
* BigBad: Slappy in ''Monsters at Midnight'', [[spoiler: Keith]] in ''Download and Die!'' and Veruca Curry in ''Horrors of the Witch House''.
* BigBadEnsemble: Slappy and Curly, the Creeps from ''Calling All Creeps!'', Sybil Wicked from ''Welcome to the Wicked Wax Museum'', and a doppelganger created by the evil smartphone (which itself appears to be based on the evil camera from the ''Say Cheese and Die!'' sub-series) all menace the protagonists in ''Download and Die!'', but, in the end, the true villain turns out to be [[spoiler:Keith from ''I Live in Your Basement!'']]
* BlandNameProduct: The Creeps app in ''Download and Die!'' is available for "ioES" and "Smandriod'
* TheCameo: Irk from ''Monsters at Midnight'' appears as a plush doll in ''Horrors of the Witch House''
* ContinuityNod: There's quite a few small references to the franchise scattered throughout. The very first panel of the first arc has Mia lamenting that she can't go to Camp Jellyjam.
* CoversAlwaysLie: The cover of issue #3 of ''Download and Die!'' depicts [[spoiler: Keith in his blob form. He only appears as a human in the story.]] That same cover features Weather trapped in the phone, which doesn't happen.
* {{Expy}}: Lilly from ''Secrets of the Swamp'' is a stand in for Cassie from ''Literature/TheWerewolfOfFeverSwamp'', as they are both red-heads who are really into werewolves.
* HallOfMirrors: The same one from the original Horrorland appears, although it is called "House of Mirrors", and in this version, it shows Mia images of her moms scolding her instead of having the walls close in.
* HereWeGoAgain: ''Monsters at Midnight'' has Mia and Ginny discovering that Irk was [[spoiler: able to escape back into the real world via a magic book]] only for the comic to end with [[spoiler: Slappy and his gang showing up as well, having escaped the same way Irk did.]]
* TheInternetIsForCats: In ''Download and Die!'', Mitra takes a picture of her cat with her new phone and comments that now it's a "real phone".
* JustFriends: In ''Download and Die!'', Mitra talks to Weather after having used the phone to make her pay more attention to her, and Weather says she personally isn't "into" anyone and just wants to play sports and make "rad" films, effectively doing this to her.
* LovePotion: In ''Download and Die!'', Mitra uses one of the phone's filters to make a girl she has a crush on crush on her back. It's a bit downplayed as she mostly just pays more attention to Mitra, but it could have gone further if the effects were not reversed.
* MythologyGag: ''Secrets of the Swamp'' mentions a Mr. Tucker, a likely reference to the dad from ''Werewolf of Fever Swamp''. There's also a store called Cassie's, a reference to the character of the same name from the book.
* RecursiveCanon: While the comics are set in the Goosebumps universe itself, and most of the books found in the bookstore in ''Monsters are Midnight'' are discount versions of existing books, the actual ''The Werewolf of Fever Swamp'' book can be seen there as well.
* ShoutOut: One of the books on a shelf in ''Monsters at Midnight'' is the [[Franchise/EvilDead Necronomicon]].
** In ''Download and Die!'', Mitra says they could be the three musketeers, to which Kyra says "Or [[Film/HocusPocus The Sandersons]]."
** At one point in ''Horrors of the Witch House'', a sort of social media for witches/wizards is shown and one of the screen names is [[Franchise/HarryPotter Voldemort]].
* SupernaturalPhone: The phone Mitra gets in ''Download and Die!'' which applies its filters to real life, causes bad things to happen to the people in the photos taken, and starts causing Mitra to think her friends are against her.
* SwampsAreEvil: Fever Swamp is the setting for ''Secrets of the Swamp'' and much like in the original book, it seems to be infested with werewolves.
* TheEndOrIsIt: Each arc ends this way, complete with the trope name being used word for word in ''Monsters at Midnight''.
* TokenWhite: Flips is the only white character in the main group of friends in ''Download and Die!''. Similarly, Lilly is the only white character in the main human cast of ''Secrets of the Swamp''.
* TwoferTokenMinority: Mitra in ''Download and Die!'' is Indian and gay.
* WeCanRuleTogether: In ''Horrors of the Witch House'', Veruca offers the kids a chance to team up with her. While they turn her down, Carlos pretends to take her up on it to maintain his status at the top of the totem pole at school.
