Episode II then revealed that his eccentricity is a result of him being passively driven insane by an EldritchAbomination on his own homeworld as a child, and according to him, [[OnlySaneMan he and his wife are among the only sane members of their species]]. However, while he is genuinely insane, it is suggested that [[ObfuscatingStupidity he sometimes exaggerates it to get potential enemies to underestimate him]].

He also invited Dan Green to the Evil Council because he played a villain in one of the Pokemon movies, and seems to believe that there is a difference between killing someone and just 'destroying them a little'. And then there's the standard weirdness.
