[[folder:Rusty Scupper]]
!!Rusty Scupper
[[quoteright:169:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rusty_scupper.png]]
The owner of the Bait Shop in Jellyfish Fields and a recurring NPC in the game. He owns the Reef Blower 2500 as a prize for his sponsored jellyfishing competition.
----
* CashGate:
** In Jellyfish Fields, he'll only give [=SpongeBob=] his Reef Blower if he has collected 100 jellyfish.
** In Goo Lagoon, he serves as an order placer for shipments and asks for 300 sand dollars to allow [=SpongeBob=] access to the pier.
* FetchQuest: He sponsors the jellyfishing competition in Jellyfish Fields and requires 100 total jellyfish in order for [=SpongeBob=] to gain access to his Reef Blower 2500 inside his corral.
* NewJobAsThePlotDemands: He's introduced as the owner of the Bait Shop in Jellyfish Fields, but once [=SpongeBob=] wins his jellyfishing competition, he's seen again in Goo Lagoon as an order placer for shipments. Later zig-zagged, as he returns to his job as the Bait Shop owner once the pier is destroyed.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Once the pier in Goo Lagoon is destroyed by the Flying Dutchman, he remarks that he has nothing to do there anymore and returns to his previous job in Jellyfish Fields.
* WhatTheHellHero: When [=SpongeBob=] wins the Reef Blower 2500 and he tests it out, he ends up scaring away all of Rusty's snails from his corral and he calls him out on it. He later tells [=SpongeBob=] to try it on in his changing tent for safety reasons.

->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/MrLawrence
Mermaid Man's ArchEnemy who has been imprisoned in the Mermalair for years until [=SpongeBob=] inadvertently released him when he cut the power to the security system.
----
* BackpackCannon: One that has a large instrument-like horn sticking out, letting him blast [=SpongeBob=] with damaging soundwaves.
* CanonImmigrant: He was given a small cameo on the show proper in Season 13’s "Captain Pipsqueak".
* CryoPrison: Subjected to this for his crimes before accidentally being freed just like Man Ray before him in the show. Unlike Man Ray, he's frozen again after being defeated in battle.
* DisproportionateRetribution: His main reason for ending up as Mermaid Man's worst enemy is because he put a red sock in Mermaid Man's laundry and turned all of his clothes pink.
* EasterEgg: Prawn makes a brief cameo in the Mermalair level in ''[=SpongeBob=]'s Truth or Square'' where [=SpongeBob=] will mistake him for Man Ray at first before saying he's an unassuming shrimp.
* FlunkyBoss: Prawn starts spawning Ham-mer robots into the fight once he takes one hit.
* RememberTheNewGuy: Supposedly Mermaid Man's worst enemy, despite having never been mentioned in any other episode.
* RedSockRuinsTheLaundry: This is why Mermaid Man considers him his worst enemy.
* ReusedCharacterDesign: His design is a mixture of Larry and Plankton. This is funny as Prawn's actor also voices the two.

[[folder:Robo-Sandy]]
!!Robo-Sandy
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/robo_sandy.png]]
A huge robotic copy of Sandy Cheeks who has been terrorizing the Poseidome. King Neptune summons [=SpongeBob=] and Patrick to fight her.
----
* AchillesHeel: The robot's [[LosingYourHead loose head]] is her weak point which is prone to being knocked off by [=SpongeBob=] and Patrick's GroundPound attacks and launched into loose high voltage electrical wiring. What ultimately puts her down is the giant off-switch hidden on the bottom side of her head which takes three hits from [=SpongeBob=] in the last phase to activate.
* BringIt: Tauntingly does the hand motion for this is if she lands a hit on [=SpongeBob=] or Patrick.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: She is the first major boss [=SpongeBob=] has to defeat in order to unlock the second area of Bikini Bottom.
* EvilKnockoff: She is a giant robot based off Sandy Cheeks.
* GiantSpaceFleaFromNowhere: Robo-Sandy doesn't have any relevance to the plot of the game and only shows up as the first of the major three robot bosses to fight.
* ShockwaveStomp: Her elbow slam attack produces a shockwave that spreads across the floor of the arena. [[TacticalSuicideBoss Her jumping leg drop move also generates a shockwave but renders her vulnerable.]]
* TheVoiceless: Robo-Sandy is the only robot boss to not be voiced.
* WrestlerInAllOfUs: In contrast to Sandy's karate mastery, Robo-Sandy uses wrestling techniques such as elbow drops, leg drops, and clotheslines. It's just as well that the Poseidome has been conveniently converted into a giant wrestling ring.

!!Robo-Patrick
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sponge_5.png]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/BillFagerbakke
A huge robotic copy of Patrick Star who terrorizes Squidward in the Industrial Park.
----
* AchillesHeel: The "Kick me!" sign on his back, which [=SpongeBob=] assumes is hiding some sort of self-destruct button. We never get a close enough look underneath it to tell for sure but the heroes' attacks on it prove to be effective anyway.
* AnIcePerson: One of his attacks is an ice breath which he uses to freeze Squidward and [=SpongeBob=] over the course of the fight.
* AxCrazy: Robo-Patrick is the most unhinged of the three robot bosses as he wants to eat Squidward (and [=SpongeBob=]) for dessert.
* DefeatEqualsExplosion: After [=SpongeBob=] lands the final blow, he screams in pain and explodes.
* EatingMachine: He constantly eats ice cream made out toxic sludge and wants to do the same to a helplessly frozen Squidward.
* EvilKnockoff: He is a giant robot based off Patrick Star.
* GiantSpaceFleaFromNowhere: Like with Robo-Sandy, Robo-Patrick has little relevance to the main plot and only appears as a boss.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: Almost all of his attacks make use of his "ice cream cone", which is actually just an oil drum with a big blob of frozen toxic waste on top.
* ObviouslyEvil: You can tell he's evil because he wears darker shorts than Patrick with the floral patterns replaced by red skulls.
** ScaryTeeth: Having individual pointy teeth definitely makes him look more sinister than Patrick who has a cartoonish ToothStrip in-game. Averted in ''Rehydrated''.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Only in the Game Boy Advance port.
* ScreamingWarrior: Downplayed. The only noises he makes in battle are distorted roars but only when he's hurt.
* SpinAttack: His "do si do" attack is a continuous spin where he'll spray toxic ice cream in every direction. [[TacticalSuicideBoss The attack leaves Robo-Patrick dizzy for a short while after use.]]

!![=SpongeBot SteelPants=]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/spongebot_steelpants.png]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/TomKenny
A huge robotic copy of [=SpongeBob=] who guards the Duplicatotron 3000 in the Chum Bucket Lab and serves as the last obstacle for him to face. He has an implied relationship with Robo-Plankton.
----
* AchillesHeel: [=SpongeBot=] has numerous exposed lights all over his body which are prime targets for [=SpongeBob=]'s Cruise Bubble.
* AllThereInTheScript: The robot is not named in the console version; it receives its name in the Game Boy Advance port, and was finally named in the awards of ''Rehydrated''.
* DualBoss: In the first phase, he is fought alongside Robo-Plankton.
* EvilKnockoff: He is a giant robot based off [=SpongeBob SquarePants=].
* {{Expy}}: [=SpongeBot SteelPants=] is a larger, more accurate version of the [=SpongeBob=] robot that Plankton built in [[Recap/SpongeBobSquarePantsS2E14WelcomeToTheChumBucketFrankendoodle Welcome to the Chum Bucket]], which came out a year before the game's release.
* FinalBoss: He is the last major robot boss in the game that [=SpongeBob=] has to fight to end the robot invasion.
* LevelInBossClothing: His second phase is a platforming gauntlet inside his body where [=SpongeBob=] must destroy the fuses to deactivate him.
* TacticalSuicideBoss: Subverted. During the first fight against him, he leaves himself wide open whenever he performs a wide sweeping karate chop which is obviously the intended moment for hitting his weakpoints. However he is in fact completely vulnerable throughout this entire fight. Thus, a skilled enough player can take him out extremely quickly by just launching Cruise Bubble's rapidly with good aim as his hurt animation gives just enough time to follow up with another Cruise bubble hit.
* WeaponsGradeVocabulary: His "Kah-Rah-Tae" attack weaponizes each syllable of the word and fires them at the platforms [=SpongeBob=] is standing on.
[[/folder]]

!!Robo-Plankton
[[quoteright:210:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/robo_plankton.png]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/MrLawrence
A fish-sized robotic copy of Plankton who is the true mastermind behind the robots running amok. He has an implied relationship with [=SpongeBot SteelPants=].
----
* BigBad: He usurps this role from Plankton himself and becomes the main villain at the end of the game.
* BattleCouple: Assists [=SpongeBot=] in his first boss fight and they are apprently engaged.
* CampGay: PlayedForLaughs. Robo-Plankton talks about marrying [=SpongeBot SteelPants=] and retains all of regular Plankton's campiness and theatricality.
* DualBoss: In the first phase, he is fought alongside [=SpongeBot SteelPants=].
* EnergyWeapon: His hovercraft is equipped with a rapid-firing laser weapon.
* EvilKnockoff: Evil''er'' knockoff; he is a giant robot based off the already-evil Plankton who takes over as the BigBad of ''Battle for Bikini Bottom''.
* FinalBoss: In the second phase, he goes inside [=SpongeBot SteelPants=] and becomes the last enemy to intercept [=SpongeBob=] as he tries to destroy the fuses.
* OffScreenKarma: After you beat [=SpongeBot=], the Dupilcatotron 3000 begins spitting out clones of him at a rapid pace that all shout that they want to destroy each other. Presumably, they all do so offscreen, including the original model.
* PromotedToPlayable: Is promoted to a playable character in ''Rehydrated'''s Horde Mode.

[[folder:Gill Hammerstein]]
!!Gill Hammerstein
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gill_hammerstein.png]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/NolanNorth
The director of "The New Adventures of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy" show who hires [=SpongeBob=] and company to participate in auditions for the show's anniversary episode.

His involvement with the story differs from the different ports with the game. In the consoles, he places [=SpongeBob=] and his crew against each other to see who can get which role in the episode. In the PC port, he needs [=SpongeBob=]'s help to get a crew for the new episode. In the Game Boy Advance port, he needs [=SpongeBob=]'s help to find Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy as he can get filming of the new episode done with.

----
* GameOverMan: If none of the players manage to reach the required popularity points in a location by the final minigame, Gill will get angry and force them to redo the auditions until one of them succeeds.
* PrimaDonnaDirector: While he may seem affable on the surface, Gill is a perfectionist and will get temperamental if his quota isn't met. He'll even outright demand the participants to redo the audition minigames from scratch if they fail to reach the point threshold needed for the role.
* SameCharacterButDifferent: Gill's role in both console and PC ports are the same as well as his voice actor, but his personality and voice are different from each other. In the console, Gill is calm, sarcastic and a bit nerdy due to his lisp. His PC counterpart is much more louder and mean.
* ThreateningShark:
** Gill is rather calm in the console ports, though if the player doesn't get enough points, that's when he gets a bit upset and demands them to try again.
** His PC counterpart comes across as this due to his loud voice and nasty attitude.
* VocalDissonance: In the console ports, Gill has a lisp and nerdy voice for a shark.

[[folder:The Sneaky Hermit]]
!!The Sneaky Hermit
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sneaky_hermit.png]]
[[caption-width-right:300:His general design, taken from the UsefulNotes/GameBoyAdvance port of the game.]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Varies, depending on which of the six main characters plays him.
The main villain of "The New Adventures of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy" anniversary episode who desires to steal everyone's homes for himself. Any main character can play him if they come out on top of the rest of the competition.
----
* BigBad: He's the main villain of the game's ShowWithinAShow who wants to steal every home in Bikini Bottom.
* FreudianExcuse: The reason he wants to steal every building is because his ex-wife took the house in their divorce, leaving him without a home and turning him to villainy as a result.
* StaticRoleExchangeableCharacter: The Sneaky Hermit can be played by any of the six main characters if they accumulate enough total audition points and beat the rest of the competition by the end of the story campaign. As a result, the Sneaky Hermit's personality can vary drastically, ranging from [=SpongeBob=]'s goofiness to Plankton's melodrama.
* WeaksauceWeakness: [[spoiler:His nose is very sensitive to peppers. Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy defeat the Sneaky Hermit this way by spraying pepper on him and [[PepperSneeze making him sneeze]], causing him to drop all of his stolen buildings back into their original spots]].

[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dreaded_patrick.png]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/BillFagerbakke
The ArchEnemy of Starfishman (aka Patrick Star) who terrorizes the comic book version of Bikini Bottom in "Starfishman to the Rescue".
----
* ArcVillain: He serves as the main villain in "Starfishman to the Rescue".
* TheBadGuyWins: While more PlayedForLaughs, at the end of the level, Dreaded Patrick successfully baits Starfishman to the rocket, have his minions knock him out, performs the old switcheroo with the hostage and launches Starfishman into space. This is even [[LampshadeHanging lampshaded]] by both Starfishman (who notes that TheGoodGuysAlwaysWin), and Dreaded Patrick himself (who is forced into a AndThenWhat situation about what to do next). As a DoubleSubversion, Dreaded Patrick still gets some karmic retribution in the end as a doughnut-shaped meteor the rocket hits on its way out falls to Earth and traps him in it.
* EvilCounterpart: He's essentially just an evil version of Patrick in a world full of starfish citizens who look and sound like him.
* LargeHam: Even by Bill Fagerbakke's standards, Dreaded Patrick speaks entirely in a deep, overly-hammy voice to emphasize his role as a supervillain.
* NonActionBigBad: He spends the entirety of the level taunting and making threats to Starfishman, but doesn't really get involved with him directly and prefers his minions to do the dirty work. The only things he does directly are plaster propaganda posters all over Bikini Bottom, tie up a starfish citizen to be run over by a train, and take another starfish citizen hostage in his lair to bait Starfishman to the rocket.
** {{Downplayed}} in the Game Boy Advance port where after luring Starfishman into a trapped room using a fake hostage, he can be seen operating the machinery of the deathtrap from the background.
* TheUnfought: Dreaded Patrick is never fought directly. The "final showdown" Starfishman has with him is just an ElevatorActionSequence where he fights hordes of his minions and dodges incoming hazards instead.
** Sort of averted in the Game Boy Advance port. There is a proper BossFight against him but it's technically more against the machines he's operating to crush Starfishman instead of the villain himself who is perfectly safe behind a glass window in the background.

[[folder:The Village Chief]]
!!The Village Chief
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/village_chief.png]]
The leader of a group of castaways living inside the Alaskan Bull Worm. His wife is an ironing board.
----
* CompanionCube: The Chief has an ironing board for a wife, of whom he sees as "pretty pretty". It later gets subverted when [=SpongeBob=] rescues "her" and the Chief realizes that he doesn't find her pretty pretty anymore, and so he insists [=SpongeBob=] to take the ironing board with him as a useful plane part.
* LargeAndInCharge: He's the biggest and most top-heavy member of the castaways, which signifies his position as the village chief.

[[folder:The Inventor]]
!!The Inventor
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/inventor.png]]
One of the castaways living inside the Alaskan Bull Worm. He assigns [=SpongeBob=] an important task of retrieving his jellyfish power cells to power his latest invention.
----
* CreepyGood: Despite the Inventor's awkward mannerisms and implications that he desperately wants [=SpongeBob=] as his lab assistant/test subject, he's an otherwise nice guy who will give [=SpongeBob=] helpful hints on his journey and provides him with another plane part in return.
* FetchQuest: His primary task for [=SpongeBob=] is for him to take back the three jellyfish power cells, which were stolen by the worm crustaceans and locked deep inside his three workshops.
* GadgeteerGenius: He's the inventor of the jellyfish-powered device that makes him the perfect cup of tea. Some of his other inventions mentioned in his dialogue also include "a telephone", a seismic back scrubber and a pair of untested rocket pants.
* MissionControl: He provides [=SpongeBob=] with hints from his lab as he searches through the Inventor's workshops for his jellyfish power cells.

[[folder:The Mutant Krabby Patty (Spoilers!)]]
!!The Mutant Krabby Patty
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mutant_krabby_patty.png]]
A mutated Krabby Patty that gained sentience and constantly hunts down Plankton. [[MindScrew There's more to it than it may seem]].
----
* AdvancingBossOfDoom: It serves as a major enemy that Plankton must run away from in "Super-Sized Patty".
* AntagonistTitle: It's the titular Creature from the Krusty Krab, as well as the BigBad of the game.
* BigBad: It is ultimately revealed to be the one behind the string of nightmares in the game, with said nightmares actually belonging to [[spoiler:Gary the Snail]].
* OutsideContextProblem: At first glance, the Mutant Krabby Patty appears to be just a mindless monster that Plankton accidentally created from a lab accident. But towards the end of the game, it reveals its true nature to be the embodiment of [=SpongeBob=], Patrick and Plankton's nightmares, with the final level being dedicated to chasing after it in hopes of ending the whole thing.
* SuperPersistentPredator: After coming to life, it becomes entirely fixated on chasing after Plankton for seemingly no reason, with most of the destruction it causes in Bikini Bottom being collateral.
* WalkingSpoiler: It plays a much larger role in ''Creature from the Krusty Krab'' and carries a revelation that is saved for the final level.
* YourSizeMayVary: In "Super-Sized Patty", the Mutant Krabby Patty is three times the size of the average Bikini Bottom citizen and can easily crush objects in its path. But later in the game, it oddly becomes the same size as [=SpongeBob=] as it is able to latch on to his plane without dwarfing it. Justified since the whole game is a dream, after all.
** It’s even more inconsistent in the GBA/DS version since Plankton himself doesn’t grow bigger in “Super-Sized Patty,” meaning the Mutant Krabby Patty is initially only somewhat larger than a normal one. When we see it again in “Revenge of the Giant Plankton Monster the Patty is bigger than a tank and has to be carried to safety by a semi-truck, and then is later able to fit in the back seat of [=SpongeBob’s=] biplane.

[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/seymour_scales.png]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/JohnOHurley
A self-proclaimed boating instructor of the special D.R.I.V.E. class who offers [=SpongeBob=] another chance to gain his license after he failed Mrs. Puff's test (again).
----
* BigBad: It is revealed that he has been manipulating [=SpongeBob=] for the whole game all for the sake of money.
* BitchInSheepsClothing: Initially appears to be a kindly old boating instructor, but only cares about taking [=SpongeBob=]'s money by tricking him into joining his sham classes.
* BrokenPedestal: [=SpongeBob=] is utterly ''broken'' upon learning Seymour's true intentions.
* ConMan: His entire class is nothing but a grand scam to get a rather gullible [=SpongeBob=] to pay more money. Some of the other characters like Mr. Krabs and Mrs. Puff were quick to figure this out, but the reason they fail to tell [=SpongeBob=] early is because the former is swayed by money talk, while the latter goes incognito to investigate the whole thing.
* CoolCar: Or boat, in this case: his Big Tug tugboat towers over any other boat in the game and has a giant open shark mouth painted on the front.
* DefeatMeansPlayable: Is unlocked as a playable character following his defeat in the story mode. You also unlock his Big Tug as well, not to mention the Small Tug you use in his boss fight.
* FinalBoss: Once Mrs. Puff reveals to [=SpongeBob=] that his license is a fraud, Seymour becomes the last boss of the game.
* GetBackHereBoss: The boss fight with Seymour is a chase sequence where [=SpongeBob=] must destroy his boat before he gets away. There's a meter on the right side of the screen which shows the distance between Seymour and [=SpongeBob=]. If the icon indicating Seymour hits the very top of the meter, it's game over. To make it harder, Seymour will toss junk out of his boat to slow [=SpongeBob=] down.
* InsaneTrollLogic: He tells [=SpongeBob=] at the beginning that his idea of becoming a better driver is to become a reckless one. This is perhaps deliberate as he wants nothing more than money from [=SpongeBob=] anyway.
* LoanShark: A literal one: he offers [=SpongeBob=] boating classes at extortionate prices and has the sponge and his friends pay for them by selling the parts generated from their boating derbies.
* WalkingSpoiler: His presence throughout the whole game as a benevolent boating instructor isn't as clear cut as the game makes him out to be, and his true intentions aren't revealed until the very end.

[[folder:Madame Kassandra (Spoilers!)]]
[[quoteright:1000:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/madam.jpg]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Sirena Irwin
----
* AmazingTechnicolorPopulation: Like most Mermaids in the series though her lilac skin tone is somewhat unique.
* BigBad: Kassandra manipulates [=SpongeBob=] into collecting Cosmic Jelly for her own purposes. She intends on ruling the whole ocean, and destroy other dimensions while usurping King Neptune.
* BitchInSheepsClothing: Definitely her intent but ultimately subverted. [[ComicallyMissingThePoint Her clothing may as well have been stiched together with glue and popsicle sticks.]] But seriously Even though she manipulates [=SpongeBob=] with a facade of wanting to save the world, [[DevilInPlainSight it is clear as day]] that she is the BigBad of the game. She even slips up on the facade multiple times throughout the game.
* DrearyHalfLiddedEyes: Semi-constantly. While they initially fit the nonchalant and dreary connotations, once she convinces Spongebob to gather Cosmic Jelly for her, her lower lid closes as well giving her a bit of a squint that makes her seem more suspicious.
* {{Foil}}: Has shades of this to Princess Mindy, especially considering her role in the VideoGame/TheSpongeBobMovieGame of which ''The Cosmic Shake'' could be considered a distant spirital sequel to. They're both mermaids who help to guide [=SpongeBob=] and Patrick on their quests while offering considerable support. However Princess Mindy is a genuinely kind, merciful soul eager to see the heroes to succeed whereas Madame Kassandra proves to be a cruel, manipulative sort, only looking out for herself.
** Their relation to King Neptune also contrasts: Princess Mindy is royalty as King Neptune's daughter and tries to push him to be a more compassionate ruler. Meanwhile Madame Kassandra steals from King Neptune and hopes to one day usurp him and rule over the oceans.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: She mentions never being able to get the magic, wish-granting Mermaid Tears to work for her. [=SpongeBob=] reads the bubble bottle and notices that OnlyThePureOfHeart are able to use its power before proving himself very much capable. Impressive on his behalf but a concerning red flag that there is something "off" about Kassandra.
* ManipulativeBitch: She originally stole King Neptune’s bubble soap in the hopes of using it to open dimensions to other worlds and collect enough cosmic jelly to take over the entire ocean and usurp Neptune as it’s ruler. However, she soon discovered that the soap was useless in her hands because her evil plans meant that her heart was too impure for her to use it, leading her to drop it into her sales bin instead. When [=SpongeBob=] purchased the soap and proved himself pure of heart enough to use its powers, Kassandra instead shifts gears to get him to do her bidding under the pretense of saving his friends.
* {{Sadist}}: She takes pleasure in [=SpongeBob=] wailing, epsecially when he cries about losing Gary, after all of the chaos that ensued, and then subsequently uses him for her plan.
