!![[VideoGame/MegaMan2 Air Man]]
->'''Debut''': 11 July 2013
->'''Announcer Name''': Aries Man
->'''Commentary Name''': The Tornado
->'''Billing''': The Future
->'''Theme''': "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8JHiNCumAU Air Man Stage]]" from ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBros''
->'''Tag Team''': The Mavericks (with Break Man)
->'''Singles Record''': 14-5-0 (74%)
->'''Championships''': 1 July 2014 -- 16 December 2014 (Casual Championship), 17 February -- 28 April 2015 (Co-Op Champion under The Mavericks)

One of Dr. Wily's Robot Masters, or more specifically one of the first eight Wily created by himself to defeat [[Franchise/MegaMan his arch-enemy]], Air Man debuted in the first show of Season 5 and immediately cemented himself as a powerful though [[MemeticMutation not quite unbeatable]] opponent. His allegiance still lies with his creator, and he served under Wily (and [[Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog Eggman]]) in the hunt for the Dragon Balls, ruthlessly attacking [[VideoGame/Mother3 Flint]] and [[Franchise/DragonBall Nappa]] alongside [[Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog Knuckles]] to little success. He later showed his true colors, however, and went on to outright dismantle Proto Man for the ball he carried, though in the end even Air Man's assistance wasn't enough to secure a victory for The Practice.

Air Man would later go on to claim the Casual championship and retain it for three straight title defenses, at the same time abandoning Wily and Eggman to form a new tag team, The Mavericks, with his former nemesis Proto Man, now dubbed Break Man following his FaceHeelTurn. After capturing the Co-Op championship then dropping it to the Dragons, Air Man would start a run towards the VGCW title against reigning champion Dracula at End Game X1, seeking to become the first wrestler in VGCW history to win the Triple Crown. Despite a very brutal match in which Air Man kicked out of multiple finishers, he would ultimately fall short.
----
* BewareTheSillyOnes: His LiteralMinded tendencies aside, Air Man is one of the most dangerous wrestlers on the roster.
* FinishingMove: The "Air Shooter", a [[Wrestling/MattBloom poison mist claw]].
* HurricaneOfPuns: The inevitable reaction from the crowd when he enters the ring.
* InSeriesNickname: Break Man calls him Big Breezy.
* ImplacableMan: It took ''five'' finishers for Dracula to finally put Air Man down during their title match at End Game X1
* LiteralMinded: Very.
-->'''Break Man:''' Let's bounce, Breezy.\
'''Air Man:''' Walking is much more efficient than bouncing.
* RunningGag: It seems every time he is defeated in a singles match, he gets a newly upgraded CAW model to reset his streak instead of accepting a loss on his record. Of course, it doesn't really work because no matter what "version" he is, he can't hide the fact otherwise that wrestlers ''can'' defeat Air Man.[[labelnote:*]]The singles record of every wrestler covers all versions of their CAW models, including those of Air Man.[[/labelnote]]
* WorthyOpponent: For "End Game 5", he was this for Donkey Kong.

!![[Series/RetroGameMaster Chief Arino]]
->'''Real Name''': Shinya Arino
->'''Debut''': 22 November 2012
->'''Announcer Name''': The Chief
->'''Commentary Name''': Judge
->'''Billing''': [[UsefulNotes/{{Japan}} Osaka, Japan]]
->'''Theme''': "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Es-kfnZOprM Ode to Joy]]" from ''[[Film/DieHard Live Free or Die Hard]]'' trailers
->'''Tag Team''': [=GameCenter=] FU (with WebVideo/TheAngryVideoGameNerd) (former)
->'''Singles Record''': 12-15-1 (43%)
->'''Championships''': 5 -- 19 December 2012, 23 August 2013 -- 15 April 2014 (Co-Op Champion under [=GameCenter=] FU), 31 March -- 5 May 2015 (Casual Champion)

The star of a popular Japanese television series, the Chief's reputation of grueling victories over [[NintendoHard old-school games]] carried over well into the ring. Though a much milder man compared to his partner, Arino's humble beginnings quickly lead to a career of success, and while he lacks in pure power compared to some other wrestlers, the Kacho has more than a few huge victories under his belt.
----
* CatchPhrase[=/=]PhraseCatcher: "KACHO ON!"
* {{Determinator}}: One the most notable active examples, Arino will often take a huge beatdown in his matches, only to keep on struggling and fighting.
* FinishingMove: "Kacho Kicks", a series of kicks to the opponent's chest, and the "Last Continue", a [[Wrestling/CMPunk Go to Sleep]].
* GrandfatherClause: Under the current "no RealLife people allowed" rule.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: With the AVGN prior to the latter's retirement.
* NiceGuy: A very humble and spirited competitor who is always eager to share his passion for retro gaming with other wrestlers.
* RunningGag: He enters late or even last during Royal Rumbles only to be eliminated.
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: The sensitive to the Nerd's manly.
* TookALevelInBadass: Took on Bowser himself one-on-one late in Season 4 and came out on top.
* WorthyOpponent: Was this to the AVGN, who Arino valiantly fought against, but lost to, in an Iron Man match that ended with them gaining respect for one another and forming the relatively successful tag team, [=GameCenter=] FU.

!![[VideoGame/MetalGearRisingRevengeance Senator Armstrong]]
->'''Real Name''': Steven Armstrong
->'''Debut''': 28 April, 2015
->'''Announcer Name''': Senator Steven R Strong
->'''Commentary Name''': Senator
->'''Billing''': Colorado, USA
->'''Theme''': "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dPaVk4G1jg Collective Consciousness]] from ''VideoGame/MetalGearRisingRevengeance''.
->'''Singles Record''': 3-1-0 (75%)
----
* FinishingMove: "EXCELSUS Toss", a toss, an Uppercut, "Penalty Kick", a big boot or a punt variant from the corner.
* HostileShowTakeover: From the looks of it, he's going to try and usurp Gary as General Manager in Season 12
* TheSocialDarwinist: True to form, his ultimate desire is for a world where the strongest are free to pursue their own desires.
* WrestlingMonster: Turning out to be this, replacing Illidan as Gary Oak's muscle after he turned on his boss.

!![[VideoGame/AsurasWrath Asura]]
->'''Debut''':16 February 2016
->'''Announcer Name''': A Sue Raw
->'''Commentary Name''': The Bruiser
->'''Billing''': Shangri-La
->'''Theme''': [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYgi9gvS3Wo Main Theme]] of ''VideoGame/AsurasWrath''
->'''Stable''': Shadoloo (w/ [[Franchise/StreetFighter M. Bison]] and [[VideoGame/FZero Blood Falcon]])
->'''Singles Record''': 1-0-0 (100%)
----
* FinishingMove: "Asura's Wrath", a series of body blows into an uppercut, and "Burst", a [[Wrestling/FergalDevitt Bloody Sunday]].

!![[VideoGame/AssassinsCreedII Ezio]] [[VideoGame/AssassinsCreedBrotherhood Auditore]] [[VideoGame/AssassinsCreedRevelations da Firenze]]
->'''Debut''': 19 November 2012
->'''Announcer Name''': The Silent Killer
->'''Commentary Name''': Blade
->'''Billing''': Italy
->'''Theme''': "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=By2VPvkMCDY Venice Rooftops]] (''[[VideoGame/SoulSeries Soulcalibur V]]'' Mix)"
->'''Tag Team''': The Elite Two (with [[Franchise/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles Raphael]]; dissolved), Birds of Prey (with [[VideoGame/FZero Captain Falcon]]) (Dissolved)
->'''Stable''': The [=McMahon=] Elite Four (with Bazza [=McMahon=], Raphael, [[Anime/{{Pokemon}} Gary Oak]], and [[VideoGame/SuperPaperMario Mr. L]]; disbanded)
->'''Singles Record''': 11-18-0 (38%)

A 15th century assassin hailing from Italy, Ezio Auditore da Firenze suffered a mediocre crowd reaction and a perceived lack of interest early in his wrestling career, despite holding the unblemished record for most eliminations in a single Royal Rumble and a series of high-profile matches. Perhaps because of the negativity surrounding his appearances, he became a member of the [=McMahon=] Elite Four in Season 2, cementing his heel status. Though fellow heels Gary and Mr. L quickly abandoned the stable, his alliance with Raphael continued until the Ninja Turtle was dropped from the roster four seasons later. Despite a history of being a heel, the heat surrounding the questionably-inconspicuous assassin gradually died down, and come his Season 6 debut, Ezio finally seems to have gained support from the crowd, though his past still lingers.
----
* DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu: Did you just [[spoiler: squash Air Man?]]
* FinishingMove: The "Impaler", a [[Wrestling/EdgeWrestler Lifting DDT]], the "Poison Blade", a [[Wrestling/BrianAdams punch to the heart]], and the "Eagle Dive", a [[Wrestling/SethRollins Standing Shiranui]].
* GoodCostumeSwitch: A bizarre, crowd-fueled [[InvertedTrope inversion]]; while similar to his old look, Ezio's new appearance in ''WWE 2K14'' caused him to suddenly gain a remarkable amount of pop, and may have even redeemed him in the eyes of the crowd.
* TheCasanova: Ezio likes his women.
* VillainousValor: Despite being considered a heel by the chat (although for sketchy reasons most of the time) for a long time, Ezio showed real determination in his matches sometimes, like when he fought Gerudo Skies more or less two on one while Raph refused to come help him.

!![[Franchise/SuperMarioBros Bowser]]
->'''Debut''': 20 November 2012
->'''Announcer Name''': The Dinosaur (''WWE '13''), [[VideoGame/MarioAndLuigi The King of Awesome]] (''WWE 2K14'')
->'''Commentary Name''': The Disaster
->'''Billing''': The Pits of Hell (''WWE '13''), TheNineties (''WWE 2K14'')
->'''Theme''': "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bq_jS6o3OoY Bowser's Theme]]" from ''VideoGame/SuperMario64''
->'''Singles Record''': 22-9-0 (71%)
->'''Championships''': 5 -- 9 December 2012[[note]]Was in possession of the now-banned [[GameBreaker Glitch Bomb]] during this run.[[/note]] (VGCW Champion)

The King of the Koopas, as well as either Awesome or Stupidity [[RunningGag depending on who you ask]], Bowser is both one of the most powerful wrestlers in VGCW and one of the most infrequently-seen, though that fact only makes his appearances even more spectacular. His early showings were characterized by a feud with [[Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda Ganondorf]], which the Dark Lord seemed to have an edge in until the fateful night where Bowser's unchecked use of the Glitch Bomb lead to a legendary 32-5 victory.

He vanished from VGCW for quite a while afterwards, until his triumphant return in Season 3, and the walking disaster was later called out for his long-since-passed glitch abuse by Ganon. In yet another upset, Bowser clawed out a much more narrow victory, and went on to inadvertently aid [[VideoGame/SuperMarioRPG Geno]] in the star warrior's fight against [[Franchise/{{Castlevania}} Dracula]]. Yet another 3-month-long absence followed before he showed up to challenge [[Series/RetroGameMaster Arino]], and four months later he played a minor but pivotal role in Season 5's story by coming into possession of a Dragon Ball, which he only relinquished when Ganondorf ambushed him following a battle with [[Creator/ValveSoftware Gabe Newell]].

In Season 6, now-General Manager Gabe Newell finally terminated Bowser's apparent legends contract, putting him back on the main roster much to the joy of the crowd. His first bout was against a mysteriously-returning Dracula, and after a victory over the lord of darkness, he seemed to embrace his enormous popularity and loyal fanbase. This earned him a ticket to the VGCW Championship Elimination Chamber title match, where Phoenix Wright took him out before he was eliminated. However, Bowser is still a force to be reckoned with.
----
* FinishingMove: The "[[VideoGame/MarioKart Rainbow Rhodes]]" ([[Wrestling/CodyRhodes Cross Rhodes]]), the "[[VideoGame/SuperSmashBros Fully Charged Forward Smash]]" (a Standing Dropkick), and the "[[Wrestling/DwayneJohnson Thwomp Bottom]]".
* PutOnABus[=/=]TheBusCameBack: Bowser may have well been driving the bus with how often he vanished for months at a time, though he seems to finally have stuck around in Season 6.
* SitcomArchNemesis: He saw Ebisumaru as one after [[OnceDoneNeverForgotten he knocked Bowser out of the second Great Tournament.]] Fortunately for Ebisumaru, all of Bowser's {{Zany Scheme}}s to get revenge failed spectacularly, usually followed by a beatdown by Segata.

!![[Franchise/MegaMan Break Man]] (formerly Proto Man)
->'''Real Name''': Blues
->'''Debut''': 19 November 2012
->'''Announcer Name''': Blake Man (''WWE 2K14'') (formerly Pro Ten Man (''WWE '13''), Prototype Man (''WWE 2K14''))
->'''Commentary Name''': The Motor
->'''Billing''': The Future
->'''Themes''': "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnkbJ-H4r5k&t=81 The Stand (Man or Machine)]]" by ''Music/TheProtomen'', [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=At52XGlZ_3Y Title Theme (Remix)]]" from ''VideoGame/MegaMan3'' (former), "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGvqMXYhYhU#t=31s Hope Rides Alone]]" by Music/TheProtomen
->'''Tag Team''': The Mavericks (with Air Man), Team Light (with Mega Man; dissolved)
->'''Singles Record''': 19-12-0 (62%)
->'''Championships''': 14 -- 19 December 2012, 26 Feburary 2014 -- 13 May 2014 (VGCW Champion), 17 February -- 28 April 2015 (Co-Op Champion under The Mavericks)
----
* BackFromTheDead: He was dismantled by Air Man in order to retrieve the Dragon Ball that was stored inside him, but [[Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog Knuckles]] felt guilty about the dismantling and collected his remains. Blues was thankfully rebuilt and returned to VGCW on 26 November 2013.
* CoolMask: Adopted a faceplate to his helmet in Season 11
* DoNotCallMePaul: Declared Proto Man to be his "slave name" when he formed his new tag team.
* DrunkOnTheDarkSide: He practically quotes [[Franchise/StarWars Palpatine]] after [[spoiler: absorbing the [=GameShark's=] power]]
--> '''Break Man''': [[spoiler: [[EvilLaugh AHAHAHAHAHA]] YES! I can FEEL it! This is what INFINITY feels like!]]
* EvilIsNotAToy: [[spoiler: At End Game X1, Break Man demanded that the [=GameShark=] grant him its power so that he could use it to enslave humanity, as Octodad tries to warn him that he is putting everyone in the arena at risk to no avail.]]
* FaceHeelTurn: Turned his back on humanity after they seemingly turned their back on him.
* FinishingMove: The "Code Blues", a Snapmare Neckbreaker, and the "Break Buster", a [[Wrestling/DeanAmbrose Headlock Driver]].
* {{Jerkass}}: Since his FaceHeelTurn, most evident when [[KickTheDog he blamed Jensen for allowing the Nightmare to possess Gabe Newell at End Game 8]]...which he himself had contributed to due to [[{{Hypocrite}} ambushing Jensen while he was making his way down the ramp]].
* KillAllHumans: His ultimate goal is to replace humanity with an Age of Machines, [[spoiler: which he attempted to do by harnessing the [=GameShark's=] power]]
* OhCrap: [[spoiler: After Octodad puts on his GameFace, Break Man realizes he's not dealing with an "ordinary human".]]
* ThenLetMeBeEvil: His FaceHeelTurn was a result of everyone mocking his efforts to defeat the Robot Masters in Season 8, particularly when Gabe had him dismissed from the assignment.
* UnderestimatingBadassery: [[spoiler: Dismissed Octodad as [[HughMann "just a man"]] after taking the [=GameShark's=] power and [[KneelBeforeZod demanded that he bow down before his robot overlord]]. Naturally, this ends up biting him in the ass.]]

!![[Franchise/MortalKombat Johnny Cage]]
->'''Real Name''': John Carlton
->'''Debut''': 21 January 2014 (Star Road), 13 May 2014 (Main Roster)
->'''Announcer Name''': Johnny Cage
->'''Commentary Name''': The Superstar
->'''Billing''': Venice Beach, California
->'''Theme''': "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2cJrFDxzo8 Prepare Yourself]]" by The Immortals
->'''Tag Team''': [[VideoGame/MortalKombatDeadlyAlliance Deadly Alliance]] (with [[Franchise/MortalKombat Scorpion]]), Shadow Blitz (with [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyVI Sabin Rene Figaro]]; disbanded)
->'''Stable''': The Ring Rangers (with Gary Oak, Octodad, Waluigi, Groose, Mr. Satan, and Guile; dissolved)
->'''Singles Record''': 9-5-0 (64%)
----
* GroinAttack: One of his signatures actually mirrors his X-Ray attack from ''[[VideoGame/MortalKombat9 MK9]]''. This involves a series of powerful punches to the groin and a flying elbow to the spine. In addition, he also used Shattered Dreams on Illidan.
* HeelFaceTurn: Played with, as while he was revealed to be the Red Ring Ranger, he seems to have no idea of what they were doing until confronted, as well as implication that Soldier Black was the real mastermind.
* HeroWithBadPublicity: The fans sure as shit love him, but because he was the alleged leader of the Ring Rangers, nobody on the roster really trusts him. Damn that asshole, Guile...
* TheReveal: End Game 7 revealed that he was the leader of the Ring Rangers Stable.
** UnwittingPawn: ...however, it's heavily implied that he was being used by Guile (as Solder Black), turning the Ring Rangers into something more malicious than first intended.
*** Outright confirmed by Season 8, in a particularly knife-twisting revelation by Guile himself.

!!Dante (''VideoGame/DMCDevilMayCry'')
->'''Debut''': New Year's Day 2013
->'''Announcer Name''': Don Take
->'''Commentary Name''': The Dominator
->'''Billing''': Limbo
->'''Theme''': "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiHHj9qFhz4 What The Fuck Is Wrong With You?]]" by Combichrist (current), "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvR-xBzmEZA Monday (Glitch Mob Remix)]]" by Nalepa (former), "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZTNjzXCtII Dante Battle]]" from ''VideoGame/ShinMegamiTenseiIIINocturne'' (former)
->'''Tag Team''': The Fuckheads (with [[VideoGame/NoMoreHeroes Travis Touchdown]])
->'''Singles Record''': 5-2-0 (71%)
->'''Championships''': 23 January -- 21 February 2014 (EDBW Champion)
----
* FinishingMove: The "Edgycution", a [[Wrestling/EdgeWrestler Lifting DDT]], and the "Fuckercut", where Dante [[Wrestling/ClaudioCastagnoli tosses the opponent in the air and performs an uppercut while they're airborne]].
* PutOnABus: Considering that this is the more hated version of [[VideoGame/DevilMayCry Dante]], this was expected.
** TheBusCameBack: Reappeared in the debut episode of the ''EDBW'' spin-off series. He ended up being the league's first champion much to the confusion of the fans who weren't sure if they hated him or the character he beat (Magus) more.
** He would later reappear in ''VGCW'' proper as an indirect result of Travis' promotion, as Travis badmouthed him on-screen. It's resulted in a feud among the former tag partners.
* PhraseCatcher: "FUCK YOU!"
* SirSwearsALot: He and Travis could give the Nerd a run for his money.

!![[VideoGame/TeamFortress2 The Demoman]]
->'''Debut''': 1 September 2015
->'''Announcer Name''': Black Scottish One Eye
->'''Commentary Name''': Dynamite
->'''Billing''': Glasgow, Scotland
->'''Theme''': "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBdQDGGNg8E Drunken Pipe Bomb]]" from ''VideoGame/TeamFortress2''
->'''Stable''': The BLU Rogues (with [[VideoGame/SkiesOfArcadia Vyse]] and [[VideoGame/MonkeyIsland Guybrush Threepwood]])
->'''Singles Record''': 0-2-0 (0%)
->'''Championships''': 25 July -- 14 August 2014 (EDBW Champion)
----
* FinishingMove: An Exploder Suplex, of course.

!!Franchise/DonkeyKong
->'''Debut''': Pre-archive
->'''Announcer Names''': D K, The Big Monkey (both ''WWE '13''), Don Key Kong (''WWE 2K14'')
->'''Commentary Name''': The Maniac
->'''Billing''': Deep in the Jungle
->'''Theme''': "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWekyBXEFTc Donkey Kong Country Returns (Vocals)]]" from ''Videogame/SuperSmashBros'', "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcP91tQ4ZSM DK Rap]]" from ''VideoGame/DonkeyKong64'' (former), "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcGFCtBt9Fc Main Theme (Rock / Metal Cover)]]" from "''VideoGame/DonkeyKongCountry''(former)
->'''Tag Team''': The DK Crew (with Diddy Kong; dissolved)
->'''Singles Record''': 20-11-1 (63%)
->'''Championships''': 19 -- 23 December 2012, 28 February -- 7 March 2013 (VGCW Champion; was stripped of the title due to his use of the Glitch Bomb)
->'''Status''': Legend

The "leader of the DK Crew" who hails from deep in the Kongo Jungle, Donkey Kong quickly gained a reputation in the VGCW for being able to easily overpower opponents, often winning matches in a single finisher. His first title reign was remarkable yet short, having defeated [[Franchise/MegaMan Proto Man]] for the belt and losing it to [[VideoGame/MetalGear Solid Snake]] shortly afterwards, and he would later defeat [[VideoGame/BarkleyShutUpAndJamGaiden Charles Barkley]] to take the belt back. However, stunning revelations would be made: the ape's match-ending finishing move was, in reality, the Glitch Bomb, a verboten technique that [[GameBreaker instantly crippled anybody hit by it.]] The championship was stripped from him amidst uproar from both those who fell to his underhanded tactics and others sullied by the move, and he was escorted from the building the same night.

Despite his tarnished reputation, DK quickly returned and proved that the Glitch Bomb wasn't his only strength; after a rocky start following his reinstatement in the league, he began [[WhyWontYouDie a seemingly-unstoppable streak of victories that broke all records]] and continued well into Season 6. Though he lost a controversial match to [[Creator/ValveSoftware Gabe]] during [[RealLifeWritesThePlot a blackout, and only Newell's word affirmed his loss]], his streak-breaking on-camera loss would be to none other than VideoGame/DukeNukem, finally putting his reign of victory to an end.
----
* FinishingMove: The "[[WesternAnimation/DonkeyKongCountry Banana Slamma]]", a [[Wrestling/ChrisJericho triple non-release powerbomb]].
* WorthyOpponent: For "End Game 5", his destined battle was against [[VideoGame/MegaMan2 Air Man]]; DK made scrap out of the Robot Master.

!![[Franchise/{{Castlevania}} Dracula]]
->'''Debut''': 10 February 2013
->'''Announcer Name''': Lord Drake U Love
->'''Commentary Name''': Warlock
->'''Billing''': Transylvania
->'''Theme''': "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wECmvL_8bFM Dance of Illusions]]" from ''VideoGame/CastlevaniaJudgment''
->'''Stable''': The Drac Pack (with [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyVI Kefka Palazzo]], [[Franchise/StreetFighter Dan Hibiki]], [[Franchise/DragonBall Vegeta]] [initially], and [[VisualNovel/PhoenixWrightAceAttorney Phoenix Wright]] [replaced Vegeta]; dissolved)
->'''Tag Team''': The Dark Lords (with Ganondorf; dissolved)
->'''Singles Record''': 9-9-1 (47%)
->'''Championships''': 4 -- 25 March 2014 (Casual Champion), 10 October 2015 -- Present (VGCW Champion)

An evil vampire lord resurrected every hundred years by the dark hearts of men, Dracula made his wrestling debut in a match against Simon, a member of the Belmont clan sworn to defeat him, and pulled off a victory against his sworn enemy. Though he would later be defeated by Donkey Kong, the lord of the night had other plans; he coerced a despondent [[Franchise/ToyStory Woody]] into joining his side, only to turn the toy into a hulking monstrosity and set him on the VGCW. Though Geno put down the rampaging cowboy, Dracula's scheming continued, and he would not only recruit Dan but also corrupt Vegeta into becoming Majin Vegeta and swearing his loyalty to him, and invite Kefka to join the league alongside him. His plans culminated when, in the Season 3 finale, Dan interrupted the match between [[Creator/ValveSoftware Gabe]] and [[VideoGame/DeusExHumanRevolution Adam Jensen]] to determine a new General Manager, and Dracula himself usurped the position, taking over the VGCW as a whole alongside his Drac Pack.

Throughout Season 4, Dracula ruled VGCW with an iron fist, and his influence led to Vegeta claiming the belt from then-champion [[VideoGame/BarkleyShutUpAndJamGaiden Charles]] [[UsefulNotes/NationalBasketballAssociation Barkley]]. A rebellion soon formed to oppose the vampire, as Geno, Solid Snake and Mr. Satan formed VAMPHOUND to liberate the league from him, and when Vegeta turned against his dark master and self-destructed to try to kill Dracula, the immortal lord shrugged off the kamikaze attempt and replaced his Saiyan crony with the now-heel Phoenix Wright. Finally, after a season of conflict, VAMPHOUND defeated the Drac Pack, and a triumphantly-returning Little Mac stepped up to oppose Dracula, seemingly sealing him away in a coffin.

Though Dracula was presumed dead, Gabe Newell, having become General Manager following the banishment of its oppressor, seemingly "rescued" him and kept him locked in the basement for some time. Nobody knows what Gaben was doing to him, but Dracula finally returned in Season 6's premier to face Bowser, seemingly under Gabe's command. He would go on to show his power, eventually winning the Casual Championship in a Triple Threat. However, Waluigi bested him, and after that humilation, Dracula soon snapped back by being the one to end Phoenix Wrights singles win streak, and punching his ticket to a confrontation with Scorpion for the VGCW Championship only to fall short after Scorpion tied him at 10-10 in an Iron Man to retain the title. Dracula would later feud with Ganondorf and then form a tag team called the Dark Lords in an attempt to rebuild his career but their lack of chemistry and success in the ring resulted in their dissolving the team after one season, at the same time he attempted to prevent the Nightmare from possessing Gabe Newell to no avail, afterwards Drac's career went into limbo for a while, though it would soon change...

In Season 11, Dracula would run afoul of general manager Gary Oak's enforcer Senator Armstrong after the latter tried to intimidate him into handing over financial records during Dracula's tenure as GM. When Drac refused, Armstrong would throw the vampire outside which to Drac's misfortune, was in an open-air arena in broad daylight as a result of Gary choosing a tropical island as the show's location for the season. While Dracula survived, it was widely believed he would miss the rest of the season as a result of his vulnerability to sunlight until the [=GameShark=] granted him the power to walk in daylight. Dracula would go on to challenge Armstrong to a match at the midseason PPV and hand the Senator his first loss since debuting on the main roster, but Drac wasn't finished. He would later draw #39 on the entrant list in the show's Royal Rumble and go on to win, giving him a title shot against reigning champion Sabin Rene Figaro. After a grueling match, Dracula would pin Sabin clean to finally become VGCW Champion, and capped off his incredible season by fending off Air Man at End Game X1.

A particularly egg-shaped scientist with a genius IQ of 300 and a hobby of world domination, Dr. Eggman debuted early in VGCW's history, and stuck around long after his arch-nemesis vanished for several seasons. While he isn't the most successful wrestler, he was at one point the most decorated man in the league, having held a short-lived Championship title, won both a Royal Rumble and a King of the Ring tournament, and become Co-Op Champions alongside fellow mad doctor Albert Wily, all at various points before Season 3.

The union between Ivo Robotnik and Albert Wily continues to define most of his career, and not only for being [[ComicBook/MegaManArchieComics the only]] [[ComicBook/SonicTheHedgehogArchieComics canonical crossover team]]; while they aren't anywhere near the most harmonious of allies, the Practice holds a number of victories under the belts (including an early upset over [=GameCenter=] FU), a pivotal role in the Dragon Brawl saga, and status as one of the earliest tag teams. Alone, Eggman's record is less than stellar, but his tenacity and never-ending master plan(s) make him a credible threat when he isn't being scrambled by irritating hedgehogs.

* ForcedTransformation: The Gameshark transformed him into his [[WesternAnimation/{{AdventuresOfSonicTheHedgehog}} Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog]] incarnation, and the transformation stuck even though the Gameshark's been defeated. To say that Eggman is displeased with this is an understatement.
* PoliticallyIncorrectVillain: Apparently becoming Robotnik had some effects on his mind. When he failed to gain the position of Vegeta's jester, the feed had to be cut to keep people from hearing him violate his NWordPrivileges. Recent events have proven that that's just the way Robotnik is. ''Eggman'' on the other hand, isn't.
* TakeOverTheWorld: He and his partner [[Franchise/MegaMan Dr. Wily]] wanted to do this with the Dragon Balls in Season 5.
* TrrrillingRrrs: A side effect of his transformation into Robotnik is the fact that he does this with every single "r" he speaks. Of course, Season 13 proved that Robotnik wasn't a transformation at all.

He spent the rest of the season trying to pursue the VGCW title but fell short in two #1 Contender Battle Royales. In Season 5, Flint teamed up with Nappa to help him obtain the Dragon Balls and resurrect Vegeta, sympathizing with the Saiyan's plight over having lost someone they care about. Together, the two prevailed over the other teams competing for the Dragon Balls at End Game 5, and managed to bring Vegeta back to life while simultaneously foiling [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyVI Kefka]]'s attempt at attaining godhood. 308
Also known as the Great King of Evil. Ganondorf is one of the most powerful and feared wrestlers in the federation, the first to win the main title more than once and the first three-time champion in ''VGCW'' history. Ganon's first title reign was brief, defeating [[Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog Eggman]] only to later drop the belt to ''WebVideo/TheAngryVideoGameNerd'' in a Triple Threat match with Sonic. Undeterred, Ganon would later win a Royal Rumble and win his belt back the next night, starting his famous Thousand Years of Darkness title reign where he proceeded to defend his belt four times. However, during his fifth defense against [[Franchise/SuperMarioBros Bowser]] in an Inferno match, the Koopa King crippled Ganon with the now-illegal Glitch Bomb finisher, allowing Bowser to win the title by a pinfall score of 32-5.

Following his defeat, Ganon formed the "Gerudo Skies" tag team with [[Franchise/StreetFighter Zangief]] and eventually regained the title from Raphael. Gerudo Skies would proceed to win the Co-Op Championship from the Returners, making Ganon the first dual champion, though this would not last as he quickly dropped the belt to rising star Charles Barkley. Ganon later gained a rematch against Bowser after the Glitch Bomb was revealed, though despite the evened playing field, Ganon again lost by a score of 8-7. Ganon then entered the Great Tournament but was upset by Adam Jensen in the semi-finals. Throughout Season 4, Gerudo Skies continued to defend the Co-Op belts, finally dropping them to [=WarioWare=] Inc. at "End Game 4", ending a reign that lasted 104 days.

In Season 5, Ganon ended his alliance with Zangief by attacking him following the latter's match with [[VideoGame/AssassinsCreedII Ezio]], starting a feud that would last the entire season, culminating with a grudge match at "End Game 5". At first the clear favorite heading into the match, Ganon would be defeated by VideoGame/{{Octodad}} during the buildup to "End Game" in one of the biggest upsets in VGCW history, casting doubt on the Dark Lord's chances. Nevertheless, Ganon squared off against his former partner in a vicious Extreme Rules match, trading multiple blows and finishers until Ganon at last emerged victorious in a hard fought win. After taking a leave of absence, Ganon reappeared in Season 6 deriding the current state of his competition, prompting VideoGame/DukeNukem who was fresh off his own upset of Franchise/DonkeyKong, to challenge him. In one of the most hyped matches of the season...Ganon proceeded to squash Duke in less than ten minutes, and sending a clear message that he remains a force to be reckoned with. Despite the loss, Duke continued to antagonize Ganon until the Dark Lord agreed to resolve their feud at End Game 6 in an "I Quit" match. Ironically, it was Ganondorf who'd say the words, suffering his greatest humiliation to date. After taking a break he reappeared at the end of the Royal Rumble PPV to get his hands on Guile, vowing to send him back to the Midcard; that is until Duke intervened constantly, and the three fought in a Triple Threat at End Game 7 that Guile won by taking out Duke.
Then he got tired of Dracula's constant whining over his right to a Title opportunity and challenged him to a Last Man Standing Match at End Game 8 to determine the true "Dark Lord". He emerged victorious, and the two formed a team the following Season. Recently, with the threat of Nightmare Gabe hanging over everyone's heads, Ganondorf has recruited The Disciplinary Committee for a mission...

* FaceHeelTurn: After his former partner's loss to [[VideoGame/AssassinsCreedII Ezio]] on 20 July 2013, it seemed like Ganondorf was going to save Zangief from getting slammed with a chair by The Silent Killer, only for The Dark Lord to do the dirty deed himself for the assassin.

A resident of Skyloft with an stylish pompadour and a rival to [[Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda Link]], Groose became an immediate fan favorite upon his debut and soon catapulted himself into the title picture by winning the 23 April 2013 Royal Rumble. Groose first shot at the title fell short against [[Franchise/DragonBall Majin Vegeta]], despite his best efforts. Groose gained a second attempt at the King of the Ring tournament following Vegeta's death, advancing to the final round only to fall short again, this time at the hands of [[VideoGame/BarkleyShutUpAndJamGaiden Charles]] [[UsefulNotes/NationalBasketballAssociation Barkley]]. Undeterred, Groose entered a 6 Man Battle Royale for the #1 Contender's spot, eliminating [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyVI Kefka]] last and securing a rematch with Barkley. In his third shot at the gold, Groose's hard work finally paid off as he scored a decisive victory over Barkley, winning the championship at long last. Unfortunately, Groose's title reign prove to be brief as he was then defeated by [[VideoGame/FinalFight Mike Haggar]] at "End Game 4". Nevertheless, Groose has remained a strong competitor in the upper-tiers of the league, and is slowly climbing back into the title picture.

Despite this, he was rarely being seen in Season 7, owing to the fact that he became the [[InsistentTerminology Salmon Red]] Ring Ranger before being discovered. In Season 8 he formed his own stable of wrestlers with The Heavy and Mike Haggar and going after PK Chu. It didn't work out so well. Guile is a former Casual Champion (who incidentally dropped the belt to [[Anime/{{Pokemon}} Ash Ketchum]]/[[VideoGame/PokemonRedAndBlue Red]], kickstarting the latter's legendary reign as Casual Champion), and formed one half of the tag team "Team America" alongside Duke Nukem. He is also known for helping invent the term "Obamaroll" during an infamous match with UsefulNotes/BarackObama that involved an rollup pin that was reversed several times over due to the game's shoddy coding. While he hasn't attained much success throughout his career, Guile's devotion to America endears himself to many.

Until End Game 6, when he betrayed his long time partner. Guile would then explain the next week that his actions were due [[RealLifeWritesThePlot to the fans on the VGCW Forum saying Guile should be fired.]] Guile complained that he was a former Casual Champion, and didn't deserve this treatment. Guile would go on to become one of the biggest heels in VGCW, even defeating both Duke and Ganon at End Game 7, and is highly implied to have been the one causing the trouble the group known as the Ring Rangers caused during Season 7.
----
* AdaptationalVillainy: Probably the show's biggest example. In the Street Fighter series, Guile is the epitome of an AllAmericanFace. In VGCW, he's one of the most conniving, despicable heels on the roster.

* DirtyCoward: Tried to get his former Ring Ranger stablemates to help him in his match against Haggar at End Game X1 but was turned down by all of them. (Waluigi hated wearing his Ring Ranger costume, Gary and Octodad were busy with the Red/Illidan and the [=GameShark=] respectively, Mr. Satan and Johnny Cage didn't even bother to reject Guile in person, and Groose was distraught over having lost his Casual championship to the Heavy earlier in the night.
* {{Eagleland}}: Fitting to the character and his tag team. Enforced by an animated GIF overlay of the American flag.
* FinishingMove: The "Red, White & Blue Thunder Bomb", a [[Wrestling/JohnCena Spin-Out Powerbomb]], and the "Amerislam", an [[Wrestling/BobHolly Alabama Slam]].
* '''{{Heel}}''': He has become ''the'' poster child for a successful (and ''hated'') heel in the VGCW universe since End Game 6. What's he done? Betrayed Duke at the end of "End Game 6", [[DirtyCoward refused to fight Duke or Ganondorf while running like a little bitch the entire seventh season]], masterminded the Ring Rangers plot of Season 7, [[TheBadGuyWins defeated Ganondorf and Duke at "End Game 7", pissing off the fans even more]], successfully (so far) turned the UnwittingPawn Johnny Cage into the scapegoat for the Ring Rangers fiasco, ''and'' squashed fan favorite Bowser on his way to "End Game 8". It took 3 Hell Kicks for Scorpion to end Guile's rampage, but Guile was far from done. After beating Wrestling/HulkHogan himself clean, Guile entered the Season 10 Royal Rumble and took advantage of a stipulation Nappa had placed in which the wrestler who eliminated entrant #20 would get inserted into the title match via Triple Threat rules. Guile waited until Sonic pulled #20 on the entrant list and immediately eliminated him to gain his title shot, which he would go on to win. Finally, during his entrance at End Game X, Guile pulled off the cardinal sin of wrestling heat ''by burning the American flag.'' What an asshole.
* ManipulativeBastard: What he did to the Rings Rangers of season 7. EDBW fan-favorite Johnny Cage approached Guile with the idea of creating a stable of masked midcarders in order to both A.) get new guys over and B.) inject some excitement into the midcard. Not a terrible idea in theory, but Guile decided to go behind Cage's back and convince the other Ring Rangers to act like a ''terrorist'' group, randomly attacking people ForTheEvulz. Then, Guile managed to successfully pin the blame for the Ring Rangers' rampage on Cage, while he continued his quest to the top with no one the wiser. Except Cage, but [[CassandraTruth now no one will believe him]].
* TookALevelInBadass: Ever since his surprise return at "End Game 6" and subsequent FaceHeelTurn, Guile's been this. ManipulativeBastard, SmugSnake, and badass to boot. It got to the point where during his title match against Scorpion, the chat was ''terrified'' that all it would take for Guile to put down Scorpion would be a single finishing move. A Scorpion who's survived Illidan, Proto Man, Dracula and Kefka in hellacious matches.
** And it took '''three''' Hell Kicks from Scorpion to put Guile down. All while Guile was never able to hit an [[FinishingMove AmeriSlam]], so we'll never know. Talk about paranoia fuel...
* TookALevelInJerkAss: Well, considering he pulled a HeelFaceTurn at "End Game 6", this comes with the territory.

Master of the self-taught Saikyo style of martial arts, World Warrior competitor, once one of the most reviled wrestlers in the federation, but now one of its biggest faces. Dan early in his career formed the tag team "Raw Power" with Mr. Satan, where they would both proceed to win the Co-Op titles, however, Dan would have to endure complaints that he was the weak link. On the 16 January 2013 Royal Rumble, Dan scored a controversial victory when he eliminated the final two competitors, [[Anime/{{Pokemon}} Ash]] and [[VideoGame/WarioWare Wario]], by waiting for both wrestlers to tire themselves out before throwing them out of the ring, earning a great deal of heat from the fans for his seemingly cheap method of attaining victory. Dan didn't help his case during his title shot when he failed to defeat then-champion [[Franchise/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles Raphael]]. After settling accounts with Ash in a Last Man standing match where he emerged victorious, the hate against the Saikyo master reached a fever pitch, with repeated chants of "BOO THIS DAN".

After losing the Co-Op belts to the Returners and being left out of the Great Tournament in favor of Mr. Satan, Dan would proceed to leave his partner hanging during a match with Team America. Finally, at the end of Season 3, Dan cemented his heel turn when attacked the finalists Gabe Newell and Adam Jensen during their match, paving the way for Dracula's takeover of the federation. Dan attempted to exploit his allegiance with Dracula by scoring a title shot against Red only to fail, whereupon he was punished by having to wrestle Kefka. At "End Game 4", Dan and the rest of the Drac Pack faced off against [[VideoGame/SuperMarioRPG Geno]], [[VideoGame/MetalGear Snake]] and Mr. Satan in a 6 man tag team match that they would eventually lose, whereupon Kefka revealed [[TheStarscream his true colors]] and betrayed the group, delivering a punch to Dan's groin. Dan spent the rest of Season 5 trying to pursue the Casual Belt, along with wins over [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyVII Barrett Wallace]] and a debuting VideoGame/{{Octodad}}, further cementing his position as the most hated wrestler in VGCW.

During Season 7, Dan was the leader of P.R.A.T.S., a group trying to stop the Ring Rangers. Dan earned a little respect due to the hilarious scenes he had with his students Billy and Jimmy Lee along with picking up his own ringwork along the way. Then during Season 8, Dan finished a slow-burning face turn when he saved Mr. Satan from being roboticized by the Practice, and then leading his stable to victory over the Bullies at End Game 8. The Saikyo master further kept his momentum going during Season 9 by winning the Casual Championship twice in one season, once in a ladder match, and twice in a rematch with Knuckles at End Game, all the while acquiring a new title for himself as the "Casual God" of VGCW.
----
* AGodAmI: Parodied, as he has taking a liking to the idea of being the "[[LethalJokeCharacter Casual God]]". Though considering right after he said it [[GoodBadBugs he immediately disappeared...]]
* DefeatMeansRespect: Despite losing his feud to Red, he held no grudges after he turned Face, even saving him from a beatdown from the Bullies with his students, acknowledging his found respect for the Pokémon Trainer. Red returned the favour by saving him at End Game X with Mr. Satan [[spoiler: from certain death against The Nightmare.]]
* FaceHeelTurn: Turned on Mr. Satan during the Season 3 Finale by attacking Mr. Satan and walking out of their match, joining the Drac Pack.
* FinishingMove: The "Ultra Combo", a series of punches, and the "Pratitude Adjustment", a [[Wrestling/JohnCena standing fireman's carry]].
* HeelFaceTurn: After becoming the leader of P.R.A.T.S., he is firmly on the side of the fans, even if he continues being the smug little joke that he is.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Dan is as smug and arrogant and ever even as a face, and yet he was able to bury the hatchet with his one-time enemy Mr. Satan as well as preventing Groose and the Bullies from jumping Red before his title match with Air Man. And despite dealing with the Lee Brothers antics, Dan has been on record in expressing pride for his students. He even knocked them both out to prevent them from fighting [[spoiler: The Nightmare, choosing to fight in their stead and ''knowing'' that he was going to die.]]
* LethalJokeCharacter: He has proven that he is capable of winning matches on his own.
** Dan has now taken the initiative and got a new finisher: ''The Pratitude Adjustment''. A reliable finisher means he can now properly capitalize where his Super Taunts have failed him before.
* TheLoad: Was this for Raw Power. He even outright ''jumped off the ropes'' to keep Mr. Satan from tagging him in a few times.
* OnlySaneMan: He's become this to Jimmy and Billy Lee in their stable: P.R.A.T.S. [[HilarityEnsues It's hilarious.]]

He later entered the Great Tournament for the right to become the new General Manager, managing to make it to the final round against Gabe Newell after upsetting [[Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda Ganondorf]] in the semis. However, during the final match, Jensen and Gabe were attacked by [[Franchise/StreetFighter Dan Hibiki]] as part of [[Franchise/{{Castlevania}} Dracula]]'s coup d'état. The new GM then pitted the two wrestlers in an impromptu tag team match against [[Franchise/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles Raphael]] and [[VideoGame/AssassinsCreedII Ezio]], which Jensen assumed to be a one-night deal. However, Gabe's repeated requests to partner up as well as prodding from both Dracula and the fans forces a reluctant Jensen to form the tag team "Safety Valve". After Dracula's downfall in "End Game 4", Jensen and Gabe finally have their long overdue match, despite the augmented cyborg's best efforts, Jensen loses to Gaben, forcing him to become his beleaguered assistant. Throughout Season 5, Jensen and Gabe competed with several other stables for the Dragon Balls, which Jensen hoped to use to rid himself of Gaben. During that time he won the 23 August 2013 Rumble but lost to then-champion Little Mac. At "End Game 5", Jensen and the other pursuers of the Dragon Balls joined forces to defeat Kefka and prevent him from destroying the world. 601Duke Nukem made his debut in the early days of VGCW where he developed a reputation as an underdog after singlehandedly winning a 3-3 tag team match after his other two partners were eliminated. He later managed to repeat that same feat against five other wrestlers in a six-man Hell in a Cell match for a shot at the Casual Title, then held by [[Franchise/StreetFighter Guile]]. Despite Duke's best efforts, including managing to land two Stunners, Guile successfully retained his belt. The two however would develop a [[DefeatMeansFriendship mutual respect for each other]] after the match and went on to form the all-American tag team "Team America".

After that, Duke's career went into limbo as Team America struggled in the midst of a very competitive tag team division. Also in spite of Duke's upset victories, he went 0-6 in singles competition until 19 March 2013 when he managed to beat [[VideoGame/SuperMarioRPG Geno]]. Entering Season 5 and needing to make statement soon to avoid being cut from the roster, Duke squared off against [[VideoGame/MetalGear Solid Snake]] who had helped overthrow the Drac Pack in Season 4, in a cage match. Against all odds, Duke managed to beat Snake, proving that he can hang in singles competition. Duke followed this victory with securing another Casual title shot, this time against [[Advertising/SegataSanshiro Segata Sanshiro]], however despite a valiant match, Duke fell short to the champion of the Sega Saturn. Undeterred, Duke attained another shot at championship gold when Team America managed to get a shot at the Tag Team belts against perhaps the greatest tag team in VGCW history, {{GamecenterFU}}, at End Game 5. But yet again, Duke's title aspirations were dashed as Team America fell to the dominance of [[WebVideo/TheAngryVideoGameNerd the Nerd]] and the [[Series/RetroGameMaster Chief]]. Despite this, Duke's performances managed to solidify him as a fan favorite, and his best was yet to come...

At the debut of Season 6, Duke managed to pull off yet another of his trademark upsets against [[VideoGame/DonkeyKong Donkey Kong]]. Bursting with confidence, Duke decided to directly challenge one of the most feared and dominant wrestlers in VGCW: [[Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda Ganondorf]]. Their first match however ended with the Dark Lord squashing Duke handily, with his pride wounded Duke immediately challenged Ganon to a rematch. Ganon initially refused, instead sending someone else to wrestle Duke in his stead as an insult, and then ditching Duke during an impromptu tag team match against the [[VideoGame/DoubleDragon Dragons]]. Finally, Ganon agreed to a rematch at End Game 6, on the condition that it would be an "I Quit" match, vowing to humiliate Duke once more. But when all was said and done at End Game, it was Ganon that was lying on the floor after saying "I Quit" with Duke standing over him victorious. Duke attempted to shake hands only for Ganon to attack him out of spite, at that moment Guile, who had gone missing a few weeks prior to EG6, arrived to make the rescue...[[FaceHeelTurn and then stunned the VGCW Universe by hitting Duke with a power bomb]], ending their partnership.

Entering Season 7, Duke decided to answer Guile's claim that he had not accomplished anything in his career by entering the Beat the Clock challenge for the Elimination Chamber VGCW Championship match. Facing off against yet another seemingly unstoppable opponent in Gaben, Duke yet again lived up to his reputation as a "giant killer" hitting Gaben with two Stunners and winning the match with the fastest time, putting him as the last entrant into the Elimination Chamber and the chance to finally become champion. Unluckily for Nukem, this would not help him, as Proto Man took him out of the match before going on to win. Nukem held no ill will towards Proto Man, and even congratulated him on his victory. Nukem then focused on defeating Guile, but after Ganon got into the mix, Nukem had enough, and challenged Ganon and Guile to a Triple Threat match at End Game 7. Though Duke was the one pinned, he did not go down without a fight.

* CatchPhrase: "Bet on it."
* {{Determinator}}: Has defined his career in ''VGCW'' by this creed, from defeating three wrestlers single-handedly in a tag team match after his other two partners were eliminated to defeating [[Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda Ganondorf]] himself in an "I Quit" match.
* {{Eagleland}}: Somewhat fitting to the character and more fitting to his tag team. Enforced by an animated GIF overlay of the American flag.
* FinishingMove: "Hail to the King", a [[Wrestling/StoneColdSteveAustin theatrical stunner]], and the "Megaton Drop", a Gutbuster.

* '''{{Jobber}}''': Even worse than [[Franchise/DragonBall Vegeta]], actually. Yet, despite having surprisingly improved in Royal Rumbles, Gary has never won another singles match since. He is now considered to be the undisputed ''worst'' wrestler after losing a VGCW vs. WWE match against, of all wrestlers, freaking Wrestling/ZackRyder.
* KickTheDog: He keeps trying to constantly screw over Illidan & Red.
* SmallNameBigEgo: In the VGCW, he likes to go on about how superior he is to other wrestlers. Heck, his first Season 6 appearance has him saying how he would have won against [[Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda Ganondorf]] at "End Game 5" to [[Franchise/StreetFighter Zangief]].
** He later moved to going on about how superior ''Illidan'' is to other wrestlers...up until Illidan got tired of Gary's insulting behaviour towards him.

** Gary managed to get into the Great Tournament 2 Turbo thanks to fan demand, and though he was initially hesitant to fight, he managed to take down his first opponent Waluigi with ease. People were surprised that Gary was able to take Waluigi down, but many figured it would be his only win in the tournament as his next opponent would be none other than M.Bison. Despite the odds seemingly being against him, Gary managed to score an ''extremely'' decisive win against the dictator and managed to go on to the semifinals. The guy's clearly been levelling up in his spare time.
** AND THEN he beat Bazza in order to move on to the finals! Someone check that boy for Rare Candies.

Raijin, along with the rest of the Disciplinary Committee, is a bit of an oddball. They all became the show's security team around Season 6 as a result of Gabe Newell looking to find a way to keep the "Light Switcher Offer" from attacking him again. They didn't really become a major part of the show until Season 7, where they, along with P.R.A.T.S., were dealt with the task of exposing the Ring Rangers and preventing their backstage attacks. Though P.R.A.T.S. were eventually the ones to completely expose the Rangers, the Committee kept their jobs as backstage personalities until Ganondorf decided to ask for their help. He paid Raijin to go to EDBW and fight Link to obtain the Triforce of Courage. Raijin succeeded, and suddenly there was a good amount of people who wanted to see him in the ring again. 705
A Franchise/{{Pokemon}} Trainer from Pallet Town formerly known as Ash Ketchum, he was the longest-reigning Casual Champion of the VGCW until Advertising/SegataSanshiro (who defeated Red for the belt) held the belt for longer on 16 December 2013. Red's championship streak ran for 148 days with six title defenses, five of which were consecutive, which made him the very best Casual Champion like no one ever was.[[labelnote:*]]Arguably, he still is, as all Casual Champions after him have defended the belt less compared to Red over the same period of time.[[/labelnote]] He also shares the distinction of "King of the Midcard" with [[Franchise/MortalKombat Scorpion]] after tying in one of the longest and greatest non-Rumble matches in ''VGCW'' history. After that however, he fell into a slump, only to have the fire in his heart relit by teaming up with [[Videogame/EarthBound1994 Ness]], going on to win the Co-Op Championship, then subsequently winning a Royal Rumble to book himself a Rematch against Scorpion for the VGCW Championship, which was unsuccessful. After this, with his former friend & arch-rival Gary Oak now in charge, he found himself against ever increasing odds as a result, from having his partner fired, to being booked into a Handicap Match, to having to fight increasingly tougher opponents...until he found a new ally in Illidan Stormrage, who had also found himself oppressed by Oak since turning his back on him. Forming Shadow Ball Valley, the two defeated Gary & Senator Armstrong at End Game X1, and the pair managed to dethrone The Dragons as the new Co-Op Champions.
----
%%* BewareTheQuietOnes
* BrokenWinLossStreak: He finally lost the Casual Championship to Segata Sanshiro on 20 July 2013 in a huge upset, which was one of many upsets that night. Had Red won against him, he would have got [[MythologyGag his eighth title match win]] and would have automatically received a title match for the VGCW Championship. Even worse, Red got in a significant losing streak, having lost to fellow Creator/{{Nintendo}} wrestlers [[Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda Ganondorf]] and Franchise/DonkeyKong in two important matches.
** He broke said losing streak in a well-fought match against [[Franchise/DragonBall Nappa]] on 15 October 2013, and has been on his way back up ever since.
* DefeatMeansFriendship: Defeating Dan led to this, and following his face turn in Season 7, saved Red from being attacked by the Bullies and spoke about his respect for him. Red repaid the favour at End Game X.
** Played straight with Ness, as the pair became a tag team after End Game 7, and they even won the Co-Op Championship together! This came to an end though after Ness was re-released from VGCW, but Ness has stated that the pair still keep in touch.
* {{Determinator}}: Arguably the biggest example of one in the VGCW. One instance was in his title defense against [[VideoGame/WarioLand Wario]] where he took five finishers from his opponent and still won the bout.
** After a brutal match with Dan Hibiki, he was confronted by the other two members of Dracula's Drac Pack (Majin Vegeta & Kefka) and Dan in a ''3-on-1'' Handicap In-Ring Brawl, and Red told them to bring it.
* EnemyMine: United with Illidan Stormrage to form Shadow Ball Valley with the sole intention of getting revenge on Gary Oak and Senator Armstrong for their oppressive actions towards them over the course of the year.
* FinishingMove: The "Mew2", a [[Wrestling/KellyKelly Leg Drop Bulldog]], "White Out", a [[Wrestling/SethRollins Curbstomp]], the "Giga Impact", a standing tornado DDT, and the "Thundershock", a [[Wrestling/DrewMcIntyre Double Underhook DDT]].
* HeroicMime: True to the Games, he doesn't talk, choosing to let both Illidan & his actions in-and-outside of the ring do the talking. It remains to be seen if this is out of choice or not.
* HesBack: After the BrokenWinLossStreak, Red suffered a long series of losses only barely punctuated by the occasional solo victory against a mid-range opponent. [[NiceJobFixingItVillain Then Groose decided to start bullying Red.]] In short order he scored two decisive, punishing victories over former VGCW champions.[[note]]Adam Jensen and, appropriately enough, Groose.[[/note]]
** Sadly, his attempt at reclaiming the Causal Championship proved to be a subversion when he lost to Air Man.
** Since then however, he's gone on to win the Co-Op Championship with Ness, AND a Royal Rumble for a shot at the VGCW Championship, and while he didn't win, he's gone on to prove he is much stronger than he was even as Casual Champion, even defeating ''Bowser'' clean, and winning the Co-Op Championship for a second time by defeating The Dragons at Blood Money.
* ItsPersonal: Despite the mutual respect between him and Scorpion, Scorpion clearly struck a nerve when he [[Main/TookALevelInJerkass brutally tore]] into all of Red's accomplishment in comparison to his reign as VGCW Champion. Red then proceeded to put Scorpion through the table keeping them separate.
** Invoked again with Gary; Booking him in Handicap Matches, firing Ness on Twitter, and preventing him from entering the Royal Rumble are just a few of Gary's booking decisions against him. Needless to say, Red was ''not'' happy about this, and found an ally in Illidan to get their revenge on him.
* TheCavalry: Acted as this for Dan with Mr. Satan, arriving just before Dan would [[spoiler: fight Nightmare Gabe alone.]]
* ThePowerOfBlood: It's often said by the VGCW Fanbase that Red has an affinity for blood, gaining a power-up from making his opponents bleed, or from bleeding himself.
* TookALevelInBadass: Also the biggest example in all of VGCW. Understand, Red (as Ash Ketchum) was ''dangerously'' close to losing his job in an "I Quit" match against [[VideoGame/EarthBound1994 Ness]] due to his poor record, and look where he is now.
* WhyWontYouDie: It took ''three months'' since he won the Casual Championship until he was finally defeated in a title match, though he never lost the belt due to losing by count out. (He was also pinned in a non-title match the following episode.)
* WorthyOpponent: Found [[VideoGame/FZero Captain Falcon]] to be this; after losing two consecutive matches to the Big Blue, Red finally defeated him in a Hell in the Cell match, defending the Casuals title. They shook hands in mutual respect after a brutal match.
** Probably the biggest example in VGCW is with [[Franchise/MortalKombat Scorpion]]. As a result of his string of defeats, he was pitted against Scorpion to determine the "King of the Midcard". The 30-minute Iron Man match was a tie, 5-5. Worthy opponents, indeed.
** Ness also proved to be this for Red during End Game 7, as Ness won after taking a ton of damage. The two formed the tag Team PK Chu due to this, and they went on to win the Co-Op Championship. This came to an end after Ness was re-released from the company after losing the titles.
* YouAreNotAlone: Came to save Dan with Mr. Satan at End Game X from [[spoiler: a probable brutal death by The Nightmare.]]

* PutOnABus: Despite actually being liked by the VGCW fanbase, Bazza got so irritated by the chat's "Suplex Count" gimmick that he removed Sabin from the roster. The chat would spam the amount of suplexes that Sabin made during a match, and more often than not several members of the chat who don't know what a proper suplex is would count moves that are not suplexes.
** TheBusCameBack: He made his triumphant return to VGCW on 23 August 2013 as entrant #34 in the first 40-man Royal Rumble in months. That night, Sabin defeated [[Franchise/StreetFighter Sagat]] and a surprisingly-improved [[Anime/{{Pokemon}} Gary Oak]] (among other wrestlers), and ''almost'' beat [[VideoGame/DeusExHumanRevolution Adam Jensen]] for a VGCW Championship title match. 781The hardest working man in VGCW, Scorpion became known as "King of the Midcard" for always putting on great matches, but never winning a title in his career. His "King of the Midcard" Iron Man match with Red became legendary, and is one of the classics.

However, at "End Game 7", Scorpion finally reached the mountaintop by defeating Proto Man for the VGCW Championship, with the crowd rejoicing.
----
* TheAce: He holds both the longest consecutive title reign as VGCW Champion and holds a record ''twelve'' title defenses. Safe to say neither of those records will be broken any time soon.
* {{Determinator}}: All joking aside, Scorpion is ''insanely'' tough.
* DownToTheLastPlay: Scorpion has ''the'' definitive examples of this trope out of anyone on the roster. At End Game 5, he was down 5-4 in an Iron Man match against Red, only to nail the [[FinishingMove Hell Kick]] and get the tying pin on the Pokemon master with ''two seconds left'' on the clock. And on 6-17-14, his first title defense against Dracula, he managed to get ''two'' pins in the last thirty seconds to grab a tie and hold onto his championship.
* FinishingMove: A [[Wrestling/EdgeWrestler Spear]], and the "[[CatchPhrase GET OVER HERE!]]", a short-arm lariat.
* HowMuchMoreCanHeTake: Scorpion is pretty much the king of this trope, especially after taking the VGCW Championship off of Proto Man at End Game 7. He was battered, bloodied and bruised for 30 minutes against Dracula in an Inferno Iron Man match, yet managed to hang on for a tie and thus retained his belt. Then, Sonic cashed in Money in the Bank... and Scorpion STILL won.
** The Challenge Tower PPV on April 28th, 2015 was Gary Oak's most overt instance of trying to wrench the belt out of Scorpion's grasp. [[spoiler:By using Senzu Beans to heal Scorpion up after each fight in order to promote fairness and not cheapen the efforts of those booked to fight after the first opponent, the Tower itself had Scorpion fight against a quartet of opponents in succession - Dante, Barret Wallace, Solid Snake and Gary Oak himself - with the title on the line every time. While two of the fighters (Dante and Snake) came close to putting Scorpion away, the champion managed to face down all who came before him, bumping himself up to a total of ''twelve'' title defences. Until, that is, Nappa showed up to cash in the Money In The Bank contract. With no Senzu Beans left, Scorpion's weakened state - while still enough to make Nappa work for his desire - wasn't enough to stop the bald Saiyan taking the prize and rounding off the show.]]
* WorthyOpponent: To a lot of wrestlers he faces, but none more so than [[VideoGame/PokemonRedAndBlue Red]], after they fought to determine who was the "King of the Midcard". The 30-minute Iron Man match was a tie, 5-5. Worthy opponents, indeed.
** Scorpion made it very clear that he does indeed see Red this way during [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPSczTaYadM a promo]] that he cut during the 13 January 2015 broadcast. And, as of yet, Red is the only opponent against whom Scorpion has deemed it necessary to unmask, showing his undead skull face seen in his fire-breathing Fatality from Mortal Kombat.

* PutOnABus: The character's poor original CAW model was the main reason why Bazza took Sonic off the roster.
** HesBack: However, [[Webcomic/SupernormalStep Michael Lee Lunsford]] gave him a new model, and on 9 September 2013, Sonic returned to ''VGCW'', asking Knuckles if Eggman had tricked him once again.
* TookALevelInJerkass: Since End Game 7, he really began to show shades of this. From trying to cash in Money in the Bank as soon as Scorpion pinned Proto Man (only to eat a [[FinishingMove Blues Driver]] for his trouble), to dismissively brushing off Proto Man's frustrations about being attacked by a roboticized Knuckles by claiming that "[he's] got a bunch of robot copies running around," it seems the power of holding the briefcase has made the Fastest Thing Alive the Snarkiest Thing Alive too. 856----
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: Senator Armstrong was this for some time. Illidan finally got one over him though at End Game X1, pinning him in a Tag Team Match
* BossSubtitles: "<The Betrayer>"
* CatchPhrase: "You are NOT Prepared!"
* EnemyMine: Realising that he could not defeat Gary & Armstrong on his own, he aligned himself with Red to form Shadow Ball Valley and get revenge on both of them for their transactions against them over the course of 2015.
* FinishingMove: "Ready Check", a Chokeslam, and the "Shadowmoon Valley Driver", a Texas Piledriver.
* HeelFaceTurn: Turned his back on Gary by delivering a Ready Check to his former manager.
* PhraseCatcher: Variations of his boss subtitle as well as "Boo this (Illi)Dan!" during his heel run
* TheDogBitesBack: He could only take so much from Gary, and eventually turned on him.
* TheQuietOne: Up until End Game 9, you could count the number of times he'd spoken on one hand, if that. After he turned on Gary however, he was a lot more vocal, even being the mouthpiece for his team, Shadow Ball Valley.
* WrestlingMonster: How he's booked in this show. He was a monster heel before he finally lived up to his moniker and chokeslammed Gary.

A member of the Investigation Team and an integral part in solving the 2011 Inaba murder case, Kanji first debuted as part of Extreme Dudebro Wrestling before appearing as part of VGCW's Star Road 2 tournament. Kanji was able to make it to the semi-finals before losing to Asura, but hope was not lost for the delinquent as he made a surprise VGCW debut two months later in a winning effort against Johnny Cage. Kanji quickly had a meteoric rise to the top, defeating some of VGCW's biggest mainstays and earning a VGCW Championship opportunity in just four months. While he was unable to beat Sabin for the title, Kanji's rise has firmly cemented him as a force to be reckoned with on the VGCW roster.
----
* ChairmanOfTheBrawl: The Season 11 intro shows Kanji with his famous chair, but due to the limited AI of ''[=2K14=]'' he's yet to actually use it in a match.
* TheCoatsAreOff: Wears his school jacket for his entrance, but removes it for fights, unlike in his own games. Presumably this is to avoid drawing attention to ''[=2K14=]'''s character creator making it impossible to replicate Kanji's famous CoatCape from his original games.
* FinishingMove: "'''GET BENT'''", a fireman's carry backbreaker, and "Tatsumi Clash", a [[Wrestling/AJStyles Styles Clash]].
* OddFriendship: With [=ToeJam=] & Earl.
* PhraseCatcher: Kanji causes the chat to interrupt into cries of "YOU SAYIN' I LIKE X", one of Kanji's more notable lines from the famous Webcomic/{{Hiimdaisy}} ''Persona 4'' parody comic, "GET BENT", a line he said a few times in the original game but especially popularized by the aforementioned comic, and "RISE UP", the first lines of his theme song. The Tatsumi Clash causes cries of "THE GAY COMMUNITY!?" a meme associated with Wrestling/AJStyles[[note]]During an interview with Styles, the subjecto of his LGBTFanbase came up, which surprised Styles, a devout Christian[[/note]].
* ShockAndAwe: Much like in his original game. He summons lightning to strike during his entrance and his commentary name is "Thunder", though in the interest of keeping the competition fair he never summons his Persona, Take-Mikazuchi, in matches.
* SomethingSomethingLeonardBernstein: Kanji's theme, "Time for True Revelation", has pretty fast rapping over loud guitars, making its actual lyrics nearly incomprehensible. The song will cause the chat to cry out variations of "[RAPPING INTENSIFIES]", "[LYRICS???]" and "[ENGLISH I SWEAR]"... until it reaches the easily-understood chorus of "RISE UP".
* TookALevelInBadass: During his time in EDBW, Kanji was a middling mid-carder. Upon his promotion to the main roster however, he's become a main eventer, defeating the likes of Johnny Cage, Solid Snake, and Donkey Kong in just over four months.

* NominalHero: Due to the heat Illidan got in Star Road, he became the ''de facto'' face of the match, despite the heat he got for eliminating huge fan favorite King of [[VideoGame/KatamariDamacy All Cosmos]]. Rather fitting, considering.
* ShamefulStrip: He did one to Table-san in his VGCW debut match, right after activating his comeback and right before pinning Proto Man. Amusingly in-character.

----
* AdaptationalHeroism: Ever since he's been wished back to life by the Dragon Balls, he's floated into this category. At worst, he's a bit snarky towards Nappa (but this '''is''' Nappa we're talking about here). But he's also more than chummy with Nappa during matches, going so far as to shake his hand and give the man his deserving praise from the crowd after victories.
%%* AxCrazy: When he was Majin Vegeta.
* BigDamnHeroes: Right as Kefka is on the verge of destroying the world, Nappa wishes Vegeta back to life in order to delay Kefka long enough for the other wrestlers to break though Kefka's barrier.
* CatchPhrase: [[WebVideo/DragonBallAbridged GODDAMN IT NAPPA!]]
* DeadpanSnarker: He has his moments, much like he does in the original show.
* FinishingMove: "Oozaru Press", a [[Wrestling/UltimateWarrior gorilla press]], the "Dragon Rush", a series of Body Punches into an Uppercut, and the "Final Job".
* HeroicSacrifice[=/=]RedemptionEqualsDeath: Majin Vegeta draws the line at being Dracula's servant upon being ordered to kill Nappa in the ring and readily turns on him, but is ultimately unable to defeat him and instead [[TakingYouWithMe self-destructs to try and bring down Dracula with him]].
** SenselessSacrifice: It didn't work; Dracula was "alive" and well at the beginning of the following episode.
* HesBack: Gets wished back to life by Nappa at the conclusion of Season 5 to help defeat Kefka. Vegeta got the honors to deliver the final blow.
* {{Jobber}}: Was the biggest jobber [[TookALevelInBadass until he became the "Badman" and later on, Majin Vegeta]]. Even then his success was still mixed, but it was when '14 came around that he fully shed the title, and is now officially a serious competitor.
* TheLoad: Was this to The Saiyans until he became the "Badman".
* RealMenWearPink: When he's the "Badman". Yes, the infamous quote, "Haven't you ever seen a pink shirt before?", plays before "Bad Bad Man".
* RickyMorton: In the '13 Era, Vegeta often filled this role, especially at the beginning, where the Saiyans rarely won simply because he was on the team. Not so much the case recently, where they're a good enough team as a whole to win the Co-Op Belts.
* TakingYouWithMe: The attack that Vegeta unleashed on Dracula after being beaten by him.
* TookALevelInBadass: He took levels in badass on varying levels throughout his career, but especially so when the show changed games. At one point he even managed to pin both Scorpion and Phoenix Wright on the same show.

* TookALevelInBadass: It took him a while to start winning matches and become a credible threat, but when he wins, he wins ''big''. 988* {{Jobber}}: We're not gonna lie; despite his popularity and championship wins, he has lost more matches than he won them. He was even the Jobber of the Great Tournament in Season 3 AND Season 9!
* LethalJokeCharacter: Would you believe Waluigi is one VGCW Championship win away from being the first Triple Crown Champion in VGCW history?
* LovableSexManiac: If VGCW At Home is any indication, Waluigi will [[VideoGame/TheSims3 woohoo]] with anyone.
* PhraseCatcher: "WAAAAAAAAAAH!"
* TheAlcoholic: According to one podcast, Waluigi is apparently an raging alcoholic. It´s up for interpretation if he is an jobber because he drinks or if he drinks because he is a jobber.

* RunningGag: In his Wrestling/AlbertoDelRio-styled intro, the car Wily pulls up in gets drenched in sparks when he's walked about midway down the ramp, causing members of the chat to mention that he's destroying yet another car.
* TakeOverTheWorld: He and his partner [[Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog Dr. Robotnik]] wanted to do this with the Dragon Balls in Season 5. They tried again in Season 8, but failed yet again.

* [[DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu Did You Just Pin Brock Lesnar?]]: Two days after Lesnar [[MemeticMutation conquered The Undertaker's undefeated streak at Wrestlemania]], Brock attempted to end Phoenix's 8-match winning streak in a VGCW vs WWE match. Phoenix was actually able to extend his winning streak further and at the same time, avenge The Undertaker's loss at Wrestlemania.
* FaceHeelTurn: After accidentally getting stranded in the past. Thankfully seeing just what his alternate self had planned was enough to make him realize the error of his ways, and he returned to assist Snake and Gray Fox against him and the other two Phoenixes.
* FinishingMove: "The Verdict", a thrust spinebuster, and "Magatama", a [[Wrestling/RonKillings corkscrew flying forearm]]. More recently, Phoenix has used the "OBJECTION!" (Hulk Hogan comeback) as a way to put matches away.
* MesACrowd: It's revealed in Season 6 that TheVoice - when Phoenix uses Chaos Control to bring them into his world - is ''three other AlternateUniverse Phoenix Wrights''.
* NewJobAsThePlotDemands: He was at various times a wrestler, a investigator, a ringside interviewer, and a intermediary between the higher-ups and the talent... sometimes during one single show.
* TookALevelInBadass: Post heel turn, he went on an 8 match winning streak. Not just singles matches(though 7 of those were singles), but 8 matches, period. He then surpassed Donkey Kong's singles undefeated streak, with 9 wins before Dracula finally beat him. He even took down Brock Lesnar during a VGCW VS WWE match two days after Lesnar broke the Undertaker's Wrestlemania Streak.

A Russian wrestler whose incredibly quick win in a Money in the Bank ladder match, and subsequent loss of the [=MitB=] briefcase in a rematch the same night, caused the VGCW to have an actual plot. Also, he and his former partner Ganondorf have been the longest reigning Co-Op Champions in the league, having held the Co-Op Champions belt for 104 days as Gerudo Skies.
----
* CreatorsPet: Baz [=McMahon=]'s favourite Wrestler, which is ironic considering he screwed him over back in Season 1.

A mysterious wrestler who wanders the land searching for work. As fighting is the only thing he's good at, he enters tournaments and leagues in hopes of being accepted, but often gets rejected for being too incompetent or just ridiculous looking. Notable for being a rejected ''VideoGame/StreetFighterII'' concept character that the [[WebVideo/TwoBestFriendsPlay Super Best Friends Zaibatsu]] took and revived into various Kickstarter games such as ''VideoGame/{{Divekick}}'' and ''VideoGame/ShovelKnight''.

He won the Star Road 2 tournament by beating [[VideoGame/AsurasWrath Asura]]. Fittingly enough, the Zaibatsu themselves dislike Asura's Wrath.
----
* ButtMonkey: No one ever seems to recognize or respect Zubaz. He just wanted to find a place to call home and thought he'd find it in VGCW, but Kefka thought he was a hobo from the street and had him ejected by security. [[WebVideo/TwoBestFriendsPlay The Zaibatsu]] wholeheartedly approved of this characterization on their podcast.
* FinishingMove: The Shocker, a [[Wrestling/JohnCena Blue Thunder Bomb]]; and VideoGame/{{Divekick}}, a [[Wrestling/RobVanDam spinning wheel kick]].
* {{Jobber}}: Has lost his first 5 matches in a row.
* NoRespectGuy: Poor Zubaz. No one ever seems to know who he is.

A [[SirSwearsALot foul-mouthed]], easily-irate reviewer with a knack for sprawling, colorfully expletive-filled analogies and the power (glove) to back it up, the Nerd has been a consistent powerhouse in the VGCW since its early days. Following a grueling battle with fellow games reviewer Arino, the two formed an alliance that persists to this day and has won them two Co-Op Championships. Though he hasn't had much bearing on the various plots of the show, his consistently remarkable performances put him among the best of what the league has to offer.
----
* AtomicFBomb: To the point where one of his finishers uses a [[FlippingTheBird double finger salute]] and muted expletive to stun the opponent before clocking them.

* WorthyOpponent: Found Arino to be this, who the Nerd fought and won against in an hard-fought Iron Man match that ended with them gaining respect for one another and forming the relatively successful tag team, [=GameCenter=] FU.

A legendary F-Zero racer with hidden power beneath his masked exterior, Captain Falcon's somewhat unremarkable showings in his early career eventually led to a feud with [[Franchise/MegaMan Proto Man]] after the hero of man found himself Falcon Kicked off of an enormous steel cage. Being a robot, the fall had no adverse effect on Proto's ability to win, and despite continuing the rivalry both during and after his opponent wielded the Glitch Bomb, Falcon never ended up scoring a victory in their battles, and eventually decided to go for the Casual Championship. This, of course, led to a battle with the [[{{Determinator}} nigh-]][[WhyWontYouDie unstoppable]] [[VideoGame/PokemonRedAndBlue Red]], in which Falcon [[TookALevelInBadass completely and utterly]] ''[[TookALevelInBadass destroyed him]]''. However, as the bout ended in a countout, the belt stayed in the young Pokémon Trainer's hands.

Then-General Manager Dracula granted Falcon his wish for a #1 Contender's Rematch against Red, this time with no countouts, no weapons, and on [[VideoGame/SuperSmashBros Final Destination]], and after another hard-earned victory gained another title shot and became one of the very few men to pin Red at the height of his win streak. However, in the third and final battle between the two, a brutal Hell in a Cell battle at End Game 4, Red finally managed to overcome Falcon and decisively retain his title. Captain Falcon's second feud may ended in a loss, but the two found mutual respect in one another, and the good captain returned to his singles career with a renewed vigor.

Nearly a year later, Captain Falcon again fought on the Casual Championship, this time against Gray Fox. In an epic clash, Falcon defeated Gray Fox, winning the title, and during Scorpion's run as VGCW Champion, took Scorpion's place as King of the Midcard.

It wouldn't stay good for the Captain however, as he gained less prominence in the TOH era, despite an impressive CAW upgrade. Eventually he'd be eclipsed in popularity by Ezio and would go on "Sabbatical" until the end of season 12 reavealed it was something ''far'' more sinister.
----
* FinishingMove: The "Falcon Kick", a [[Wrestling/ShawnMichaels Superkick]], and the "[[MegatonPunch Falcon Punch]]".
* TookALevelInBadass: ''He defeated [[{{Determinator}} Red]], '''twice'''.''
* WorthyOpponent: Became this to [[VideoGame/PokemonRedAndBlue Red]] after defeating him in two consecutive matches. However, he could not take the Casuals belt from [[{{Determinator}} him]],[[note]]The first title match, Falcon won by count out, so the belt did not change hands. The following match they had was a non-title match that Falcon won to get a second title match for the belt.[[/note]] as Red finally defeated him in a Hell in the Cell match, defending his Casuals title. They shook hands in mutual respect after a brutal match.
* DyingMomentOfAwesome: Killed M. Bison with a Falcon Punch that annihilated them both, ''while Bison was jacked up on Psycho Power.''

A three-time champion and one of the most controversial characters in the league, Barkley's career can best be described as a roller coaster, meteoric rises to power and abyssal plummets from glory. His first notable achievement was notable in all the wrong ways, as the first man to ever lose a straight match to [[Franchise/DragonBall Vegeta]], and the feud between the two ended in the Saiyan's victory. Some time later, after an absence, he suddenly returned to the ring, slamming and jamming his way through a Royal Rumble and dethroning [[Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda Ganondorf]] for his first title win, though it was later lost to Franchise/DonkeyKong, perhaps in part to the ape's Glitch Bomb. He later competed in the Great Tournament, but lost to eventual winner [[Creator/ValveSoftware Gabe Newell]], and went through a short but violent spat with [[Franchise/DragonBall Nappa]].

Donkey Kong, found guilty of Glitch Bomb abuse, had the title stripped from him, and Barkley managed to reclaim the belt in a four-way match against other glitch victims, but his second championship would be lost to none other than a [[Franchise/{{Castlevania}} Dracula]]-empowered Majin Vegeta following the vampire's hostile takeover of VGCW. However, luck would give the basketball star a third chance in the form of a Money in the Bank match, and he managed to secure the redeemable title shot for a chance to re-challenge Vegeta, only for the Saiyan to be killed trying to stop his dark master. With the belt vacant, Charles ended up in a tournament to determine a new champion, and against all odds pulled out a victory, giving him his third title reign as well as status as the first man to hold both a belt and a briefcase at once.

Unfortunately, his constant successful chances at glory and record-breaking amounts of titles led to Barkley to suffer an enormous backlash from the crowd, who perceived him as horrendously overexposed. While a fourth-wall-shattering promo and verbal lashing of his detractors surprisingly redeemed him in the eyes of many, the newly-nicknamed CM Dunk would lose his third belt to [[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaSkywardSword Groose]], who would in turn later pass it to [[VideoGame/PunchOut Little Mac]]. His loss to the Groosinator would be the catalyst for his fall from grace, and his entire career tumbled down, losing to [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyVII Barret]], [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyVI Kefka]] and [[VideoGame/TeamFortress2 the Pyro]]. His claim to relevancy, the Money in the Bank contract, would continually be flaunted by the superstar, but by the time he finally cashed in, after an entire season of empty threats, he was unceremoniously smashed by the just-crowned [[VideoGame/FinalFight Mike Haggar]], fresh from a win against Mac. Whether or not he can once again turn his luck around is a mystery.

He was released on April 15, 2014, after a farewell match against Luigi.
----
* FinishingMove: "Chaos Dunk", an omega driver.
* GrandfatherClause: Had this under the current "no RealLife people allowed" rule until he was fired, though in some regard he also averts this because Wrestler!Barkley is more based off of his fictional counterpart in ''Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden''.
* TakeThatAudience: After the ''massive'' fan backlash over his latest title win, Barkley proceeds [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to call out the crowd on this]], arguing that he has earned every single one of his title shots like everyone else on the roster, as well as pointing out how often the crowd tends to turn against wrestlers just because of their success or exposure, and that he won't be bullied into the midcard because of it. Barkley even quotes Wrestling/CMPunk's famous Pipe Bomb promo by saying "Oops, I'm breaking the fourth wall."
* {{Troll}}: During Season 5, he has been making a habit of reminding the then-VGCW Champion, Little Mac, that he holds the Money in the Bank briefcase with which [[SequenceBreaking he can challenge Mac for the title whenever the hell he wants]], even right after a match Mac finished already. Barkley had even gone so far as to flash him the briefcase and ask if Mac is ready for him, then just say "Nah." and leave.

The former General Manager of the VGCW and former two-time VGCW Champion. Gabe Newell had one of the longest, most distinguished career's in the company roster, known for his infamous "Wallet Squeeze" finisher that was seen as the Kiss of Death by many fans, as well as for his odd and at times silly but nevertheless kind and friendly personality. However, throughout this Gabe harbored a deep pathological fear over losing his free will that threatened to manifest into a monstrous force. In Season 8, Gabe became a target of the Practice, who were building an army of Robot Masters out of VGCW wrestlers and attempted to roboticize him as the final part of their master plan. In the ensuing event, Gabe lost his mind and Nightmare Gabe was born. He then issued an ultimatum to the VGCW Universe: Either a challenger steps forth to defeat him, or he would destroy the world. To make good on his threat, Nightmare Gabe murdered Gray Fox in the middle of the ring. After a failed attempt by a Triforce-powered Ganon to stop the Nightmare, N. Gabe gave VGCW one more chance to stop him at End Game X. All the while, Gabe's good half continued to resist the Nightmare and tried desperately to clue everyone on the Nightmare's weakness.

[[spoiler: On June 9, 2015 at End Game X, as his one-time friend Adam Jensen stepped forth to challenge him, Edgeworth realized through the Nightmare's previous statements that he was vulnerable to of all things, [[PrayerIsALastResort prayer]].
