An underachieving stoner who brought the Book into Crowley High in an attempt to win the battle of the bands. After being freed from his demonic possession, he decides to help Jenny track down the book in an attempt to hook up with her, to the point of forming an investigation team dedicated to tracking down the Book, all the while being generally useless to the investigation.
[[spoiler: Late into season 1 he learns that he is the Pure Evil One, the master of the book who is destined to destroy all life through his dark powers. This realization causes Todd to begin to change his ways and start to become a real hero by trying to stop himself from becoming the Pure Evil One and saving the world.]]

* TenMinuteRetirement: Three times. The first is out of laziness, the second is after he grows to worry [[spoiler:about his destiny to destroy the world,]] and the third is after [[spoiler: he kills Hannah and nearly destroys the entire world.]]
* AbhorrentAdmirer: To Jenny, though he backs down on it by season 2.
* AdaptationalAttractiveness: In the original short film, he has messy, unkempt hair and is scrawny and covered in acne scars. As for the series, well, look at the picture.
* AdaptationalBadass: He's gone from the angsty loner with a crush on the resident AlphaBitch in the short to an expert monster slayer, who wields a CoolSword (that he forged himself) to boot.
* AllMenArePerverts
* AmbiguouslyBi: Pretty clearly into the ladies and doesn’t get nearly as much Ho Yay as the other two guys do, but there are a few hints that Todd might reciprocate Atticus’ feelings on some level. It’s all played for laughs.
* AntiAntiChrist: [[spoiler: He’s the Pure Evil One fated to destroy existence, but he actually becomes more heroic once he learns this, actively trying to prevent the apocalypse. Time will tell if this changes…]]
* AntiHero: Starts as a balanced mix between types I and V, but becomes a solid type I by season 2 and is steadily becoming a real hero.
* ApocalypseMaiden: [[spoiler: A rare male example.]]
* TheAtoner: Becomes a mild example of this by the end of season 1, and starts becoming more and more of one throughout season 2. To be fair, he has a lot on his back.
* AttentionDeficitOohShiny: His ADHD is actually fairly realistic, and actually helps him save the day a few times.
* BarbarianHero: In the MMORPG episode.
* BrosBeforeHoes: After being completely seduced by Nikki Kane, the only thing that breaks Todd out of his trance is when Curtis is in danger, causing him to abandon her in an instant.
* BroughtDownToBadass: [[spoiler:In ''The End of the End,'' he's sapped of all his Pure Evil power and ''still'' manages to fight (and kill) the biggest of the Hannah clones. Getting some help from [[EnfantTerrible Brax]] helped, too.]]
* BelligerentSexualTension: With Jenny and, depending on how you look at it, Atticus
* CharacterDevelopment: Goes from a useless {{Jerkass}} stoner in the first season, to a heroic JerkWithAHeartOfGold stoner Messiah in the second.
* TheChosenOne: [[spoiler: He’s destined to erase humanity from existence. Subverted as of ''The End of the End'': he was just a pawn to the Metal Dudes so his power could be siphoned and given to the true Pure Evil One.]]
* CoolSword: Sand-Dragon. [[spoiler: Atticus destroys it at the end of season 2 though.]]
* DeadpanSnarker: When Jenny and Atticus aren’t around, he takes over.
* DisneyDeath: [[spoiler:Jenny kills him in one episode, but he's brought back shortly after.]]
* DoggedNiceGuy: During season 2 he’s much less creepy around Jenny and actually appears to care about her rather than just finding her hot. She still never gives him the time of day, [[DefrostingIceQueen at least]] [[UnrequitedLoveSwitcheroo at first]].
* DreadfulMusician: His suckiness at guitar is partially the cause of him releasing the Book in the first place. He seems to have at least learned how to actually play it towards the end of season 2.
* DemonicPossession: Gets possessed by the book a few times. [[spoiler: This may actually be his true self, as he calls himself the Pure Evil One when in that form.]]
* DumbassHasAPoint: He tends to be at his most deductive while stoned out of his mind.
* EvenTheGuysWantHim: Both Curtis and Atticus seem to be in love with him.
* EveryoneHasStandards: As much of a {{Jerkass}} as he is, he draws the line at Bailey farting in a student's face and saying that it's a [[KickTheDog message from beyond by the student's dead relatives]]. [[spoiler:He also undergoes a HeroicBSOD when he discovers his [[ApocalypseMaiden destiny]], and goes out of his way to stop himself from destroying the world.]]
* FatAndSkinny: The Skinny to Curtis’ Fat.
* FoeRomanceSubtext: Mountains of it with Atticus, and while it’s mostly from Atticus’ side, Todd has some serious moments of this as well.
* FourTemperamentEnsemble: The Choleric.
* GoodIsNotNice: He’s an arrogant douche bag.
* GuiltComplex: He develops a major one at the end of season one. By the end of season 2, it gets even worse.
* TheHero: Well, The AntiHero, but he still formed the investigation team and is the most pivotal to the overarching plot.
* HeroicBSOD: Goes through one when he finds out [[spoiler: he’s the Pure Evil One]]. It’s ultimately for the better as it’s the first step he takes to becoming a real hero. [[spoiler: Killing Hannah seems to have thrown him into an even bigger one.]]
* HeroesPreferSwords: He wholeheartedly believes this to the point where he spends most of the MMORPG episode in search of a sword so that he can be the hero.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: With Curtis, complete with mountains of HoYay to go along with it.
* HumanoidAbomination: [[spoiler: The Pure Evil One is this.]]
* IdiotHero: While not as dense as other characters, Todd is still really dumb.
* IJustWantToBeBadass: Seems to be the main motivation for most his actions. Even after his character development it’s still evident.
* {{Jerkass}}: He regularly endangers Curtis’ life and is the one responsible for his amputated hand, only searches for the book to get with Jenny, and is an all-together useless, self-centered asshole.
** JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Becomes this after some character development. He’s still a self-absorbed stoner, but he’s also a much better friend and legitimately wants to save everyone.
* KavorkaMan: While not unattractive, literally every single member of the team is attracted to him on some level, despite his bad personality.
* LargeHam: Not nearly as much as Atticus, but he can get incredibly hammy when he wants to.
* ManlyTears: [[spoiler:There's a slightly visible tear on his face at the end of the series finale.]]
* MetalHead: Todd's standard clothing (with one or two exceptions) always includes a band t-shirt, often black, and often of well-known metal bands such as Mastodon, Carnifex, Municipal Waste, Blackguard, etc.
* MrFanservice: He’s surprisingly ripped, and gets quite a few scenes to show it off.
* NiceGuy: Starts to really become one towards the end of season 2.
* NonActionGuy: Initially.
* ObliviousToLove: He has absolutely no idea that Hannah, and later Jenny, like him.
* OnlySaneMan: When Jenny and Hannah aren’t around to fulfill this role, Todd will always acquire the SmartBall and act as this to the other characters.
* ScreamsLikeALittleGirl: Though he'll try to deny it.
* TheSlacker
* StalkerWithACrush: Played with. Some of his behavior towards Jenny can be scene as very stalkerish, and one episode focuses on his fear that he actually is stalking her, showing how he actually does care about her.
* TheStoner
* SuperPoweredEvilSide: [[spoiler: When he’s in possession of the book and under extreme amounts of stress, his Pure Evil One persona kicks in full force.]]
* TooDumbToLive: Edges towards this sometimes, and he’s one of the smarter characters!
* TookALevelInBadass: Once he actually learns how to fight at the end of season 1.
* TookALevelInKindness: After he learns [[spoiler: he’s the Pure Evil One]], he begins acting noticeably nicer to everyone and legitimately appears to be fighting to protect his friends, rather than to bang Jenny.
* {{Tsundere}}: Notably acts like a textbook type A around Atticus, increasing the HoYay between them.
* UselessProtagonist: Initially, he contributes absolutely nothing to the team. He gets better… by the last episode of season 1.
* UnrequitedLoveSwitcheroo: He finally steps off Jenny and moves on, only for her to immediately fall for him.
* [[WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes Why Did It Have To Be Fat People?]]: He’s terrified of them after a traumatic childhood experience watching Curtis’ parents’ sex tape.
* WimpFight: His “fighting style” is all about this. He engages Atticus in many a slap fight in season 2 and even trains Curtis and Hannah in it in one episode.
* WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds: [[spoiler: He only becomes sympathetic once we learn that he’s the Pure Evil One.]]

[[quoteright:225:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jenny_todd_and_the_book_7430.jpg]]

A detached and somewhat goth girl who is also the object of Todd’s affection. She is in search of her father, whose disappearance is linked somehow with the Book, and as such is the only member of the Gang besides Atticus with any prior knowledge of the Book. While she prefers being a lone wolf, her efforts are quickly foiled by Todd’s crush on her causing him to assist her in her search, much to her chagrin. She’s the only athletically capable member of the team and generally the most competent, though she’s often sidelined into the Distressed Damsel position, limiting her usefulness.
[[spoiler: When she’s finally reunited with her father, her illusions of him are shattered when he reveals himself to be an asshole with an obsession with the Book. After having to kill him, Jenny continues to assist in the search for the Book, this time motivated by protecting Todd from succumbing to the Book’s power.]]

* AbusiveParents: [[spoiler:It turns out that her father cares nothing for her and is only after the Book, and was prepared to use her to seduce Todd, either by pimping her out to him directly or just killing her and taking her skin.]]
* ActionGirl[=/=]FauxActionGirl: When she isn’t a DistressedDamsel, she’s easily the most Badass member of the Gang.
* AllGirlsWantBadBoys: Initially. She seems to be growing out of this.
* AllWomenAreLustful: She’s really no better than Todd at times.
* AllWomenLoveShoes: She even admits that girls love checking out shoes, and later steals the shoes from a corpse due to how cool they looked.
* AntiHero: Type IV.
* BadassInDistress: All the time.
* BelligerentSexualTension: With Todd.
* BettyAndVeronica: Initially the Veronica to Hannah’s Betty, but soon becomes Todd’s only love interest… unless you count Atticus.
* ButtMonkey: Not to the extent of Curtis or Atticus, but she gets kidnapped or brainwashed somehow in nearly every episode.
* CallingTheOldManOut: There’s a whole episode about this.
* CharacterDevelopment: [[spoiler: After she has to kill her father she starts to open up to the others and begins to genuinely develop feelings for Todd.]]
** A small but very subtle example of her character changing for the better came during the musical when she told Todd that she considers him a friend and that was it. Granted no guy likes hearing the "just friends" line but in Jenny's case, it was a massive step up from what she was during the first season when she considered Todd nothing more than a useless loser and a means to an end. Even though her relationship with Todd wasn't quite where he wanted it to be, Jenny had still come a long way from the ice queen she was at the beginning since she now considered both herself and Todd to be friends.
* CloserToEarth: She’s much smarter than both Todd and Curtis, but frequently gains the IdiotBall as well.
* DeadpanSnarker: The main supplier of snark in the show, beating both Todd and Atticus by a landslide.
* DefrostingIceQueen: Starts out aloof and callous and stays aloof and callous but with a much more apparent soft side. [[spoiler: By the end of season 2, she’s become Todd’s only friend.]]
* DisappearedDad: Her goal is to find him: [[spoiler: When she does… it’s not pretty.]]
* DistressedDamsel: Frequently, making her a borderline FauxActionGirl.
* EmoTeen: Can really come off as one of these on occasion. The show loves lampshading this.
* {{Expy}}: She's basically a goth version of Gretchen from the short film, right down to sharing a few of the same lines as her, though she does have a few similarities to the character she's named after, who is more of the inspiration for Hannah.
* {{Foil}}: To Atticus. Both have dads with obsessions with the book and both [[spoiler: end up killing them, but Jenny is forced to kill her dad and finds peace amongst her friends, while Atticus willingly kills his and continues to search for the book out of some twisted affection for him.]] They also tend to be overly emotional, though Jenny is far more subdued than Atticus is. This is driven home in one episode where, at separate points, she and Atticus both run off crying, “Nobody understands me!”
* FourTemperamentEnsemble: The Melancholic.
* GoodIsNotNice: She’s a huge bitch.
* GirlyBruiser
* HeroicBSOD: [[spoiler: When she realizes her dad is a huge asshole.]]
* IneffectualLoner: Her search for the book only starts to make progress once she joins the Gang.
* {{Jerkass}}: She’s really no better than Todd.
** JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Like Todd, after character development she gains some redeeming qualities, but remains selfish and obsessive.
* TheLancer[=/=]TheHeart: Traded between the two positions with Atticus. Once he leaves, she fills both positions even better than before.
* LightFeminineAndDarkFeminine: Dark Feminine to Hannah’s Light.
* MusclesAreMeaningless: She’s downright scrawny and yet can kill with her bare hands.
* NotSoAboveItAll: Is just as stupid and selfish as Todd is at times.
* OnlySaneMan: Trades with Hannah. She tends to get more NotSoAboveItAll moments though.
* RavenHairIvorySkin
* RelationshipUpgrade: Appears to have gone through one with Todd at the end of season 2, although it’s still relatively ambiguous.
* SelfMadeOrphan: Kills her dad midway through season 2 against her will.
* SpoonyBard: In the MMORPG episode, against her will.
* StrawNihilist: Implied by dialogue in "Jungle Fever" from both herself and Hannah. Although it's unclear if she actually is.
* SugarAndIcePersonality: Towards the end of season 2.
* TallDarkAndSnarky
* {{Tsundere}}: A solid type A.
* UnrequitedLoveSwitcheroo: She falls for Todd right when he stops pursuing her.
* VerbalTic: He frequently emphasizes the letter "t" whenever he says "what."
* VitriolicBestBuds: With everyone initially. She gets close with Hannah and becomes more open and pleasant to Todd and Curtis, but never stops hating Atticus.
* WaifFu

[[quoteright:225:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/curtis_todd_and_the_book_3393.jpg]]

A stoner amputee and Todd’s best friend. He happily agrees to assist Todd in finding the book because “That’s what friends do”. While not particularly smart or useful, Curtis is a much better person than Todd is and tends to act as his conscience at times. As the first season goes on, he begins to develop feelings for Hannah and the two begin dating, gaining both a girlfriend and a robotic hand filled with gadgets, greatly improving his usefulness to the team.

[[spoiler: After putting up with endless abuse from Todd, Curtis ultimately loses it in the season 2 finale when Todd kills Hannah, causing him to abandon Todd and the Gang.]]

* AbusiveParents: Implied. They don’t feed him and regularly lock him out of the house.
* AllMenArePerverts
* AmbiguouslyBi: While he shows interest in girls and even has a girlfriend later on, his admiration of Todd is… questionable at times. To quote from the Bad Future episode:
--> '''Curtis''': I've Always loved you!\
--> '''Todd:''' As a friend?\
--> '''Curtis:''' That too!
* AntiHero: Type I
* ArtificialLimbs: He has a prosthetic, and later a robotic hand.
* BerserkButton: Don’t touch his girlfriend or his best friend, or you’ll be sorry.
* BetaCouple: With Hannah.
* BigEater
* BigFun
* TheBigGuy: Ultimately, all he provides to the team is extra manpower. He becomes even more of this once he acquires his robot hand, which grants him all sorts of useful field tools.
* BreakTheCutie: [[spoiler: Hannah’s death completely destroys him. And with a Hannah clone on the way, we can only think how it’ll scar him.]]
* BreakingTheFellowship: [[spoiler: He leaves the team after Hannah’s death, officially ending the gang.]]
* ButtMonkey: Not to the extent of Atticus, but Curtis is taken advantage of by Todd way more than any rational person should be.
* CharacterDevelopment: Stops being completely loyal to Todd and starts to question him at times. [[spoiler: Once Hannah dies he abandons Todd, showing that he cares more about her than he does Todd.]]
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: He’s not exactly all there.
* DemonicPossession: During the season 1 finale.
* DespairEventHorizon: [[spoiler: Hannah’s death was this to him.]]
* DisabilitySuperPower: His lack of a hand is extremely helpful at times, particularly once he gets a robotic replacement from Hannah.
* TheDitz: Curtis never really understands anything; he just goes along with the others.
* DreadfulMusician: Sucks at drums. Like Todd, he seems to get a little bit better later on.
* DumbassHasAPoint: He tends to motivate Todd to do the right thing at the most critical moments.
* EruditeStoner: He gives legitimately good advice at times.
* FatAndSkinny: The Fat to Todd’s Skinny.
* FatBestFriend: To Todd.
* FanDisservice: Gets as many Shirtless Scenes as Todd does.
* FourTemperamentEnsemble: The Sanguine.
* GenderBender: As A Lady Wizard in the MMORPG episode.
* TheHeart: Of the Gang. [[spoiler: Once he leaves, the Gang is officially over.]]
* HeterosexualLifePartners: With Todd, [[HoYay although he may want it to be something more.]]
* HilariouslyAbusiveChildhood: He appears to be in the middle of one. His parents hate him, his best friend endangers his life on a daily basis, he’s unpopular and his school is haunted. [[spoiler: Gets dark in the season 2 finale, when Hannah is killed and his loss is played painfully straight.]]
* HoYay: [[invoked]] A freakish amount with Todd, though still nothing compared to Atticus.
* IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy: A platonic [[HoYay (maybe)]] example with Todd.
* LoveMartyr: While it [[HoYay (maybe)]] is platonic love, he will do literally everything for Todd, including amputating himself and assisting him in battling the creatures of the underworld to impress a girl.
* NiceGuy: Curtis is easily the least morally corrupt member of the Gang, and is the only one who refuses to do some of the darker actions.
* NonActionGuy: While he does actiony stuff, he’s not a fighter by any means.
* OppositesAttract: With Hannah: A Teen Genius and a Cloudcuckoolander. Basically the only interest they share is Todd.
* PluckyComicRelief: Usually.
* ScreamsLikeALittleGirl: You get used to it, according to Jenny.
* TheStoner
* TheSlacker
* SwissArmyAppendage: His robot hand can do whatever the plot requires it to do.
* TooDumbToLive: At times. He apparently forgot how to breathe once.
* TookALevelInBadass: Once he gets his robot hand and actually starts being an asset to the team.
* TokenGoodTeammate: More like “Token Moral Teammate”, but still.
* ToxicFriendInfluence: Todd has inadvertently made his life a living hell.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Corn chips and Tacos.

--> [[BewareTheNiceOnes Just because something inexplicable happens, doesn't mean The Book is responsible, Jenny. Is The Book responsible for you being a total bitch?]]

[[quoteright:225:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hannah_3349.jpg]]

A socially awkward TeenGenius with a massive crush on Todd. She is the second person to get a hold of the Book and uses it to win the science fair by creating a homunculus Todd. After the homunculus is defeated Todd decides to form the gang and allows her to be a part of it, hoping to get closer to Todd, she agrees and proves to be one of the most useful members of the team with her intelligence. Over time, she begins to move on from Todd and start a relationship with Curtis.
[[spoiler: In season 2, a pentagram shaped scar begins appearing on her stomach and grows in size over time. In the finale, she finds her parents’ lab and learns that they were researching the book before she was born, and their disappearance is linked to the book somehow. When Todd banishes the Book, she spontaneously dies, but a clone of her is seen emerging from the lab, heavily implying that she is linked with the Book somehow.]]

* ADayInTheLimelight: A surprising amount in season 2. [[spoiler: This seems to be because of her connection with the book.]]
* ActionGirl: Not nearly as Badass as Jenny, but she saves the day by herself several times.
* TheAntichrist: [[spoiler:Comes with being a clone of the Pure Evil One.]]
* ArtificialHuman: [[spoiler: A hybrid of human DNA and the Book’s dark energy.]]
* AmbiguouslyEvil: While she’s not evil, there are far too many signs that she could potentially be connected to the book for it to be a coincidence.
* AntiHero: Type I, though she has elements of type IV
* BadassBookworm: She’s easily the smartest character on the show, and her brains are basically the only reliable part of the Gang.
* BarbieDollAnatomy: [[spoiler:''The End of the End'' reveals that each Hannah clone — with the exception of the last one — lacks a vagina. They do have nipples, though.]]
* BerserkButton: Don’t mess with Curtis. Just don’t.
* BetaCouple: With Curtis.
* BettyAndVeronica: Initially the Betty to Jenny’s Veronica, but she eventually hooks up with Curtis.
* CannotSpitItOut: To Todd, she gets over it later.
* CatGirl: In the MMORPG episode.
* CharacterDevelopment: She becomes much more outgoing and less of a ShrinkingViolet as time goes on.
* CovertPervert: She’s the one pressuring Curtis into sex.
* CuteClumsyGirl
* TheCutie: She’s pretty {{Moe}}.
* DisappearedDad: He’s dead, but she doesn’t know why. [[spoiler: It’s heavily implied to be related to the book.]]
* DragonInChief: To Atticus in the Bad Future.
* {{Expy}}: Of Jenny in the short film, down to the nerdy persona and her crush on Todd.
* FaceHeelTurn: In the BadFuture, she serves as Atticus' (seemingly much more competent) right hand after the part of her brain associated with morality is damaged during an orgy with Curtis and Jenny.
* FourTemperamentEnsemble: The Phlegmatic.
* GadgeteerGenius: She built Curtis’ robotic hand, among other things.
* GagPenis: In the MMORPG episode. To quote Curtis and Todd: “Whoa! Futanari!”
* GodSaveUsFromTheQueen: As Atticus’ evil queen in the Bad Future, complete with EvilIsHammy.
* GoodScarsEvilScars: [[spoiler: Her pentagram shaped belly scar is pretty evil looking, although we still have no idea what it is.]]
* HalfHumanHybrid: [[spoiler:Each Hannah is the result of an experiment by her "parents", who created clones from human DNA as well as samples from the Book, in an effort to create the "true" Pure Evil One.]]
* HollywoodHacking: She can hack into anything, it seems.
* HollywoodHomely: She's played by the sexy Melanie Leishman, although everyone thinks of her as unattractive next to Jenny.
* HumanoidAbomination: [[spoiler: A hybrid of human DNA and Book samples, she is one in a series of increasingly powerful clones in an attempt to create the Pure Evil One.]]
* HypercompetentSidekick: To Atticus in the Bad Future, to the point where it’s obvious that she’s the only reason he conquered the world.
* KillTheCutie: [[spoiler: In the season 2 finale, though apparently WeHaveReserves.]]
* LargeHam: While not as frequently as Atticus, Hannah easily rivals him in hamminess when she wants to.
* LightFeminineAndDarkFeminine: Light Feminine to Jenny’s Dark.
* MissingMom: She’s dead, for unknown reasons. [[spoiler: Most likely the Book.]]
* MsFanservice: Gets the most revealing, fetishy outfits out of all the girls on the show.
* NiceGirl: She’s one of the nicest characters on the show, though she’s still willing to go to greater extremes than Curtis.
* OffstageVillainy: In ''The End of the End'', she's revealed to have [[spoiler:tortured animals and cheated on tests]], though there's nothing to show for this throughout the series.
* OmnicidalManiac: [[spoiler:As the true Pure Evil One.]]
* OnlySaneMan: Trades with Jenny, though she tends to be it slightly more.
* OppositesAttract: With Curtis: A TeenGenius and a {{Cloudcuckoolander}}. Basically the only interest they share is Todd.
* PrecisionFStrike: "Fuck the environment."
* SesquipedalianLoquaciousness: She dips into this sometimes, usually in the form of TechnoBabble.
* ShrinkingViolet: Initially. She gets over most of it, though she’s still slightly passive.
* TheSmartGuy: A GadgeteerGenius par excellence and the most frequent OnlySaneMan; she’s easily the smartest person in the Gang and even in the whole show.
* TeenGenius: Complete with HollywoodHacking and GadgeteerGenius powers.
* UnholyMatrimony: With Atticus of all people in the Bad Future.
* WeHaveReserves: [[spoiler: There are several clones of her in her parents secret lab, supporting the theory that she’s an ArtificialHuman.]]

Crowley High's resident guidance counselor who is in charge of most of the school events, among other things. He is even less popular than Todd and Curtis, and looked down upon by both teachers and students. In the first episode, we learn that he’s actually a Satanist and the son of the leader of Crowley Meadows Satanic Cult and is entrusted with spying on Todd after he activates the Book. His spying eventually leads him to become TheMole in the Gang, where he quickly becomes friends with the rest of the group, facing him with the decision of following his father or betraying him to be with his new friends.[[spoiler: At the end of season 1, he decides to stay with the Gang, but is almost immediately revealed to have been a Satanist to the rest of the group and is promptly kicked out. Feeling betrayed and with nowhere to go, he murders his father and takes over as the leader of the cult.]]

[[spoiler: In season 2, he serves as the gang’s main opposition in finding the book, though he proves to be highly incompetent and is treated as nothing more than a joke by both the gang and his subordinates, who plot to kill him. His obsession with Todd begins to skyrocket as his sanity crumbles; he eventually kills the entire cult and begins working with the three stoners, who convince him that he is also the Pure Evil One. In the final episode, he manages to finally get his hands on the book and turns himself into a goat man (The Pure Evil One’s alleged true form), but is defeated by the true Pure Evil One and trapped inside the Book.]]

* AbhorrentAdmirer: To Todd, in either a romantic or platonic sense, depending on how you look at it.
* AccidentalInnuendo: Practically half of his dialogue (particularly when directed at Todd) is this.
* AmbiguouslyGay: Hoo boy, where do we begin? His obsession with Todd is a defining part of his character, to say nothing about his extremely camp mannerisms.
** His interaction with Troy is literally 3 minutes long and yet the levels of HoYay between the two are ridiculous.
** To be fair, he is married to Hannah in the Bad Future… to put it simply; labeling this guy’s sexuality is impossible.
** Lampshaded in the musical episode where he bemoans how his father made him sexually confused via a song and dance number.
* AndIMustScream: [[spoiler:Certainly, nothing good can come of being trapped in the pages of the Book of Pure Evil.]]
* BadBoss: The Cultists hate him, and are constantly plotting his murder.[[spoiler: He kills them all first though.]]
* BadassCape: His usual attire in season 2.
* BeingEvilSucks: He doesn't seem to think so, but it really goes to show that almost all his attempts at evil never get him anywhere.
* BestialityIsDepraved: Inverted. The wolf raped ''him.''
* BigBadWannabe: While he’s technically the main antagonist of season 2, he never poses any form of threat to the Gang.[[spoiler: He ends up as the UnwittingPawn to the stoners any way.]]
* ButtMonkey: The single biggest Butt Monkey on the show. No matter who he’s hanging out with at the time, they will make him the butt of all their jokes.
* {{Camp}}: It doesn’t matter if he’s gay, straight, bi or something else: Atticus is ridiculously camp.
* CardCarryingVillain: Come season 2, Atticus is far more adept at declaring himself as a villain than doing any actual villainy.
* CatchPhrase: "Which is wha''[[VerbalTic t]]'' I am."
* TheChewToy: He never succeeds, ever.[[spoiler: When he finally does get the Book, he turns into a dumb looking goat monster and gets trapped inside the book almost immediately.]]
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: While Atticus is one of the smarter characters, he’s clearly not right in the head.
* ClusterFBomb: "Oh, and before you hang up, [[MoodSwinger fuck YOU, you ... COCKSUCKER WHORE-PORKING PIECE OF SHIT FUCKER!]]"
** Also in the second season, [[spoiler:when he poisons his minions:]]
--> '''Atticus:''' (singing) Fuck yooooooouuuuu, I'm not sorry! Fuck yoooooou, fuck yoooooou! FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUUUUUUCCCK ... YOOOOOOOUUUUU!
* CryForTheDevil: The show goes out of its way to make you feel sorry for him while at the same time still thinking of him as a gigantic tool.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Always played for laughs. His father raised him in a Satanic cult and put him through all sorts of ordeals to test his mettle, most famously being raped by a wolf.
* DarkMessiah: Tries his absolute hardest to be one of these in season 2. No one buys it.
* DeadpanSnarker: Particularly when he’s with the rest of the cult.
* {{Deuteragonist}}: The focus is split between him and the Gang once he switches sides.
* TheDragon:
** Serves as a very reluctant one to the Satanic cult in season 1.
** Briefly serves as this to Gina. He's actually slightly more competent.
* DragonAscendant: [[spoiler: Kills his own father and takes over the Cult at the end of season 1. He proves to be the crappiest Big Bad ever.]]
* EnemyMine: Pulls off more of these in season 2 than he does actually fighting the Gang.
* EvilCounterpart: He tries to play himself up as Todd’s in season 2, when they’re not really similar at all. He’s more of one to Jenny than to Todd.
* EvilIsCool: An InUniverse example. He firmly believes this, but usually fails to actually do anything truly evil, and when he does, it usually just falls apart on him.
* EvilOverlord: In the Bad Future. He’s still lame though, and Hannah is implied to be the real brains behind his operation.
* EvilSorcerer: As Snaketicus in the MMORPG episode.
* FaceHeelTurn: [[spoiler: After the Gang kicks him off the team; he murders his dad and takes over the cult just to get his revenge on them.]]
* FoeRomanceSubtext: Absurd amounts with Todd, though it’s mostly one sided on his part.
-->'''Todd:''' I'm gonna find the book, and then I'm gonna kick your ass!\
'''Atticus:''' Believe me, Todd Smith, my ass can take a ''lot'' of pounding.
* FreudianExcuse: The things his father did to him were pretty messed up, and are the reason for his mental instability.
* FriendlessBackground: He has no friends at the beginning of the series, and only gains some when he joins the group. He loses them by the end of the season, which sparks his Face Heel Turn.
* HalfHumanHybrid: [[spoiler: Becomes a Mangoat in the season 2 finale.]]
* HarmlessVillain: For most of season 2. Even his NotSoHarmless moment is extremely short lived.
* HearingVoices: [[spoiler:As of season 2, he begins hallucinating that his father's head is talking to him. A deleted scene may or may not confirm that he's not, in fact, hallucinating.]]
* HeelFaceRevolvingDoor: As much as he tries to oppose the gang, he only ends up helping them in the long run.
* HeelFaceTurn: Gradually goes through one during season 1. [[spoiler: The finale undoes it though, and he’s right back to the evil side in season 2. He performs another, much more successful one in the movie, helping the gang defeat the true Pure Evil One.]]
* HeelRealization: [[spoiler:After being subjected to the horrors beyond the realm of the book, he finally decides that evil is not for him, and vows to do whatever it takes to be good.]]
* IJustWantToBeLoved: Pretty obvious.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: Deep down, this is all Atticus wants. He constantly finds himself in an EnemyMine with the Gang, doing more to help them than hinder them in the end, and seems to be in a constant state of denial over the fact.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: [[spoiler:In the Bad Future episode.]]
* IneffectualSympatheticVillain: He almost never has any form of advantage over the Gang, and you can’t help but feel sorry for him due to how big of a loser he is.
* InferioritySuperiorityComplex: Blatantly obvious.
* ItsAllAboutMe: "I am a very important person. I'm the most important person in my life. Which is what I am."
* {{Jerkass}}: Despite the show going out of it’s way to show how pathetic this guy is, you still root for Todd simply due to how much of a giant douche he is.
* KickTheDog: [[spoiler:He threatens to cut off Curtis' arm and turn him back into a "pathetic cripple".]]
* TheLancer[=/=]TheHeart: Traded between the two roles with Jenny when he was on the team.
* LargeHam: The largest and the hammiest.
* LaughablyEvil: At first glance, he's a laughable joke of a villain, with his hilarious quirks, AmbiguouslyGay mannerisms, RapeAsComedy backstory, and other comical qualities. At second glance, he's still frighteningly competent at pulling off multiple evil and murderous deeds, including kidnapping, [[spoiler: killing his own father off and taking over his cult]], [[spoiler: killing off his remaining cultists later on]], and [[spoiler: turning himself into a OneWingedAngel with the help of the book]].
* MinionWithAnFInEvil: He is just so utterly useless under the Hooded Leader that [[spoiler:he eventually gets banished from the retirement home. He doesn't fare much better trying to be the BigBad, except in killing off his own minions, which in the end, even that doesn't get him far.]]
* TheMole: During season 1.
* MrFanservice: We see him wear form-fitting outfits pretty frequently.
* NonActionGuy: Becomes a NonActionBigBad in season 2.
* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: Especially towards Todd.
* NoSocialSkills: Which is especially hilarious because he's supposed to be a guidance counselor.
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: Sometimes, he manages to stir up a little competence.
** [[spoiler:He kills his own father and takes over the cult.]]
** When Gina uses the book, he becomes TheDragon to her, nearly offering up Hannah.
** [[spoiler:Later, he single-handedly poisons the cult members just as they were conspiring to kill him.]]
** [[spoiler:Finally gets the book in the season 2 finale. He quickly becomes harmless again when his wish doesn’t help him destroy the world.]]
* OneWingedAngel: [[spoiler: Turns into a Goat-Man in the season 2 finale. Counts as a ClippedWingedAngel, as it proves to help him little in battling Todd.]]
* OnlySaneMan: When he’s not with the Gang, he generally serves as this in his scenes. [[spoiler: SanitySlippage starts to subvert it though.]]
* PaperThinDisguise: As “Scooter”.
* PrettyBoy
* PutOnABus: [[spoiler: He's trapped in The Book as of the season 2 finale.]]
* RapeAsBackstory: Was raped by a wolf as initiation to enter the cult. It’s part of his FreudianExcuse, but is always played for laughs.
* RedemptionPromotion: The only time he’s ever competent at all is when he’s in the Gang. In fact, he’s racked up a bigger kill count than anyone else in the main cast, all of them villains.
* TheRival: To Todd during season 2.
* SanitySlippage: [[spoiler: Pretty evident in season 2. Especially once he starts talking to his dad’s head.]]
* SealedEvilInACan: [[spoiler: Gets sealed in the book at the end of season 2. Though “Evil” maybe be too strong of a word.]]
* SelfMadeOrphan: [[spoiler: Kills his dad at the end of season 1. He deserved it.]]
* SexierAlterEgo: Scooter, the hip teen from the wrong side of the tracks. At least, he’s sexier in Atticus’ mind.
* SissyVillain: If you could even call him a villain.
* SixthRanger: The only person to join the Gang after it was formed and stay for longer than an episode.
** SixthRangerTraitor: Was intended to be this from the beginning, but decides against it, but then decides to do it any way after the gang kicks him out.
* SnakePeople: As Snaketicus in the MMORPG episode.
* TalkingToThemself: He spends a good chunk of his scenes alone monologuing, due to having no friends. [[spoiler: When he starts talking to his Dad’s disembodied head instead of himself, you know he’s lost it.]]
* ToThePain: Attempted in the Bad Future episode.
* StalkerWithACrush: Big time towards Todd. To quote him:
-> Now, now, no need to be so formal. I’ve watched you masturbate.
* TheStarscream: [[spoiler: Manages to betray both Todd and the Satanic Society.]]
* StrawLoser: It says a lot about Atticus when he makes Todd and Curtis look like winners.
* UnwittingPawn: [[spoiler: To the three stoners in season 2.]]
* VerbalTic: He emphasizes the "t" in "what", or any other words that have a "t" in them.
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Jenny while he was in the Gang.
* WellDoneSonGuy: Daddy issues doesn’t begin to describe this guy’s problem. [[spoiler:His father]] had him raped by a wolf when he was young. [[spoiler:It turns out that his father didn't want him to submit to the wolf — actually the three metal dudes — but rather, to fight it. This lead to a lot of the abuse he endured throughout his life.]]
* WimpFight: All of his battles with Todd are these.
* WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds: Well, he wants to be a destroyer of worlds at least.

The school Janitor and one of the few people who gives Todd any form of respect whatsoever. He’s a chronic womanizer and stoner, but is also friendly, helpful and at times wise. He serves as a mentor of sorts to Todd, giving him advice whenever he needs it, but remains thoroughly apathetic to all of the chaos caused by the book and so does little beyond that.
[[spoiler: The season 2 finale reveals him to be the original wielder of the Book and the one responsible for putting it in Crowley high. In order to prevent The Three Metal Dudes from getting their hands on the book, he sealed himself and the book inside of the school to stop The Three Metal Dudes from entering and has since spent his entire life living in the school. After he reveals this to Todd, he appears to take a more active role in retrieving the book, although he remains in the background.]]

* AdultsAreUseless: Averted and yet played straight all the same. He’s the only adult in the show who’s ever willing to help Todd, but his help is limited to advice only, as he never gets directly involved with the plot.
* AlmightyJanitor: [[spoiler: Literally. He knows a lot more about the book than any character besides the stoners, and is shown to have some level of control over it, but prefers to smoke weed and have affairs with Todd’s math teacher rather than do anything particularly useful.]]
* AntiHero: Type II.
* BadassNormal: When he actually involves himself in the action, Jimmy proves to be a huge one. He also appears to be the only non-supernatural being capable of controlling the book at all.
* BigBrotherMentor: Could be considered one to Todd.
* BigGood: [[spoiler: He appears to have been it all along, being the one responsible for sealing the book away and aiding Todd in stopping it, but he doesn’t actively take up the role until the season 2 finale.]]
* BrokenAce: [[spoiler: Hinted at in the Season 2 finale. He’s good at a lot of things and an all around nice guy, but he’s incapable of leaving the school and even if he could, The Three Metal Dudes broke him so much that he would be probably worse off than he is now.]]
* TheCasanova: Extremely good at bedding women.
* ChivalrousPervert: Regularly sexually harasses Hannah and Jenny, as well as the entire female student body, but is one of the nicest people on the show.
* ChubbyChaser: "When I want to grease my piece, I go obese."
* CloudCuckoolander: Mostly due to being a pothead.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: [[spoiler: Only slightly elaborated on in the season 2 finale.]]
* DeadpanSnarker: Although his are a lot more playful and good-natured than anyone else’s.
* DirtyOldMan: Not old per se, but older than basically everyone else on the show and very dirty.
* DissonantSerenity: Nothing fazes him, to the point where half the times Todd goes to him for advice he’s in the middle of having sex with a woman and he barely reacts, if at all.[[spoiler: He gets serious when The Three Metal Dudes are involved though.]]
* EarnYourHappyEnding: [[spoiler:After leaving the school, he realizes that there's nothing for him out there, because the world has changed so much. Eventually, he returns, and takes Atticus' place as a guidance counselor, decidedly doing a much better job at it than him.]]
* EccentricMentor
* EruditeStoner: [[spoiler: The fact that he’s dealt with the Book before helps.]]
* GoodCounterpart: [[spoiler: To the Three Metal Dudes, and to an extent, The Book Of Pure Evil.]]
* KavorkaMan: Beds hundreds of women despite being a chauvinistic janitor.
* LetsGetDangerous: [[spoiler: During the Season 2 finale.]]
* NiceGuy: While he’s got a lot of flaws, Jimmy’s one of the most approachable people on the show.
* ObfuscatingStupidity: [[spoiler: Knows far more about what’s going on then he lets on.]]
* OneOfTheKids: [[spoiler: Justified in that he hasn’t been able to leave the school since he attended it.]]
* PhysicalGod: [[spoiler: A very minor case of this. His exposure to the book has granted him some reality warping powers as well as some control over the book.]]
* RealityWarper: [[spoiler: Due to prolonged exposure to the book, although they’re rather limited.]]
* SealedGoodInACan: [[spoiler: The can is Crowley Heights High school.]]
* TheStoic: His only emotion is a drugged up calm.
** NotSoStoic: [[spoiler: When the Three Metal Dudes are involved.]]

Despite their constant ridicule, they do at least always make an effort to help Todd with his problems, although their advice inevitably makes the situation worse.
[[spoiler: Season 2 reveals that they are actually an Archdemon (Yes, all three of them are one single Archdemon) who has existed since the beginning of time in search of the Pure Evil One to bring about the End Of Days. Jimmy has apparently battled them in the past and sealed himself inside of the school with the book to prevent them from getting a hold of it, but Atticus allows them back in. ]]

* AdaptationalVillainy: In the original short, they're more {{Jerkass}}[[BuffySpeak y]] than they are [[spoiler:outright evil. In the TV series, they're an Archdemon.]]
* AdultsAreUseless: [[spoiler: Justified. They want Todd to give in to the book.]]
* AllThereInTheManual: Their names are (left to right, based on how they usually stand in front of the car in the parking lot) are Brody, Eddie, and Rob. You’d only know this if you read the credits.
* AlmightyJanitor: [[spoiler: Three unemployed stoners are actually Satan’s number two.]]
* BiblicalBadGuy: [[spoiler:Their shirts say "Dragon", "False Prophet", and "Beast", which are the three members of the "unholy trinity" from Literature/BookOfRevelation.]]
* BigBadTriumvirate: [[spoiler: Technically just the BigBad since they’re actually a single being, but they’ve spent the last several thousand years as three separate people, so they still count.]]
* {{Catchphrase}}: Eddie’s “Loser!” which he punctuates every single sentence he speaks with.
* DeadpanSnarker: Mostly Rob, though Brody occasionally gets in on the action.
* DemonLordsAndArchdevils: [[spoiler: They’re apparently an Archdemon.]]
* TheDragon: [[spoiler: They serve as this to Atticus during season 2, where he makes a pact with them to get his hands on the book. They later turn out to be [[DragonWithAnAgenda Dragons With An Agenda]].]]
** [[spoiler: They also are actually this to the Pure Evil One, AKA Todd.]]
* EruditeStoner: [[spoiler: The fact that they’re a thousand year old demon certainly helps.]]
* EvilAllAlong: [[spoiler: They were always assholes, but they seemed like they had Todd’s best intentions in mind.]]
* EvilCounterpart: [[spoiler: To Jimmy. Like him, they’re stoners who don’t really do anything other than offer Todd advice and know a lot more than they let on. Unlike Jimmy, they want him to destroy humanity, not save it.]]
* EvilMentor: [[spoiler: They seem like they’re a group of helpful, if jerky, stoners initially, but are actually trying to get Todd to destroy the world.]]
* FreudianTrio: While [[spoiler: they’re one being]], they still show signs of being one. Brody is the Ego, Eddie is the Id, and Rob is the Superego.
* FusionDance: [[spoiler: They’re all actually one being, and can fuse together into different forms. So far the only one we’ve seen is Nikki Kane, but she’s not their true form. Interestingly, the different forms[[labelnote:note]]With the exception of the wolf[[/labelnote]] seem to be completely different people, as Brody refers to Nikki as “A total slut”.]]
* GreaterScopeVillain: [[spoiler: Barely do anything during season 1, and only do marginally more in season 2, but are a much, much bigger threat than the cultists or Atticus.]]
* HotBlooded: Eddie, the middle one, is easily the most aggressive and temperamental of the three.
* HumanoidAbomination: [[spoiler:Due to actually being a demon with some degree of reality warping powers.]]
* {{Jerkass}}: All three of them regularly belittle Todd in conversation and are all together terrible people. [[spoiler: Turns out they’re actually Pure Evil.]]
* KnightOfCerebus: [[spoiler: When they directly involve themselves in the action, things get bad fast. Averted on all other occasions, where they’re just as goofy as the rest of the cast.]]
* TheLeader: Brody, the one on the left, appears to be the leader of the three, or at least the most vocal.
* LetsGetDangerous: [[spoiler: They become progressively more active in the plot as Todd proves himself as a threat. Starting out by simply giving him bad advice, to manipulating Atticus into letting them into the school, and finally to actively trying to take the Book themselves.]]
* LimitedWardrobe: Never change out of their dirty band shirts. [[spoiler: And they haven’t since the beginning of time.]]
* ObfuscatingStupidity: [[spoiler: They know more about the book than anyone else in existence.]]
* OrcusOnHisThrone: [[spoiler: Justified. They can’t do anything since the book is inside of the school, which they are sealed out of. Once they gain access inside again, they immediately take action.]]
* PhysicalGod: [[spoiler: Second only to the Pure Evil One in terms of power, though they can’t really put it to any use since they’re locked out of the school.]]
* RealityWarper: [[spoiler: Not to the extent of the book, but clearly more so than Jimmy.]]
* ReallySevenHundredYearsOld: [[spoiler: Older than the Earth.]]
* SealedEvilInACan: [[spoiler: Or more appropriately, Sealed Evil Locked Out Of A Can. ''The End of the End'' reveals that Nikki actually acts as a can of sorts that can keep them sealed.]]
* TheSociopath: [[spoiler: All three of them, to the extent that they want to destroy all life, but most obviously Eddie.]]
* TheStarscream: [[spoiler: To Atticus in season 2. And technically also to Todd.]]
* TheStoic: Rob, the one on the right, is the most lax of the three.
* TokenMinority: Eddie, the only non-white character in the main cast.
* TheQuietOne: Of the three, Rob speaks the least.
* WalkingSpoiler: They’re pretty flat characters until the Reveal, which is one of the biggest spoilers of the series.

Despite his age handicap, he continues to attempt to harness the powers of the book to cause the apocalypse, mostly by ordering around his youngest follower [[spoiler:(and son)]] Atticus.
[[spoiler: He’s killed by Atticus in the season 1 finale as a way of Atticus cementing his HeelFaceTurn, however, he’s rejected by the gang immediately following this action and becomes torn over the guilt and pride in killing his abusive father. 470
* AbusiveParents: As a birthday present, he had [[spoiler:Atticus]] get raped by a wolf. And that’s just the tip of the kinds of things he did. [[spoiler:The movie reveals that he never wanted Atticus to submit to the wolf, but instead, to fight it, which still begs the question: what kind of parent would even put their kid in that sort of scenario?]]
* AdultsAreUseless: An evil version. He and his cultists are far too old and assholish to even remotely assist Atticus in retrieving the book.
* ArchNemesisDad: [[spoiler: To Atticus.]]
* AssholeVictim: [[spoiler:Seriously, nobody can blame Atticus for killing him after the abuse he put him through.]]
* BadBoss: He’s absolutely horrible to his follower Atticus [[spoiler: (who is also his son)]]. Averted with all of his other, much, much older followers, who enjoy his leading abilities, mostly because he doesn’t make them do anything.
* BigBad: [[spoiler: Of season 1 only.]]
* BigBadWannabe: [[spoiler: Only really noticeable after he dies, but due to his advanced age and the fact that there were higher powers involved, he was a minor threat in the grand scheme of things. Even Atticus holds more importance than he does.]]
* CloudCuckoolander: Though he's probably just senile.
* EvilOldFolks: Over one hundred years old.
* GreaterScopeVillain: [[spoiler: Todd never meets him, and sees Atticus as the true villain, but he's the founder of the entire town and the main reason there even is a conspiracy.]]
* HypocriticalHumor: Constantly chastises Atticus for not actively pursuing the book, while he does even less work himself.
* {{Jerkass}}: When he isn’t completely pissed off at Atticus, he’s being extremely condescending to him.
* KarmicDeath: [[spoiler:Considering the [[AbusiveParents horrible things he put Atticus through in his youth]], his death at his hands was more than deserved.]]
* KavorkaMan: [[spoiler: Flashbacks show Atticus’ mom to be quite the looker… and also half his age.]]
* KickTheDog: He was the one who had Atticus get raped by a wolf. Later, he commands Atticus to kill Todd immediately after he made it clear that he liked him.
* MaybeMagicMaybeMundane: [[spoiler:A deleted scene from season 2 suggests that his severed head may actually be talking to Atticus from beyond the grave.]]
* MayDecemberRomance: [[spoiler: Was several decades older than Atticus’ mother.]]
* NonActionBigBad: Does absolutely nothing other than sit around and yell at Atticus. Justified in that he's ancient.
* SarcasmBlind: Atticus sarcastically tells him that it's not illegal to be taking pictures of Todd's penis. It goes way over his head.

* GenderBender: [[spoiler: Considering she normally takes the form of three adult men. However, the way Brody refers to her as a different person implies they may be different beings sharing a single body.]]
* HeelFaceTurn: [[spoiler: In ''The End of the End,'' Jimmy calls out to her via the Metal Dudes, and against their own will, they fuse together, becoming her, and she returns to Jimmy willingly.]]
* KnightOfCerebus: She shows up immediately after a bunch of bad stuff had already happened and proceeds to make it even worse.
* SixthRangerTraitor: [[spoiler: Todd’s attempt at recruiting her into the gang end up screwing them over worse then they could have ever done otherwise.]]
* SmallRoleBigImpact: Appears in only three episodes, with about a minute of screen time in one of them, and is yet responsible for the plot getting DarkerAndEdgier.
* TheVamp: Seduces Todd [[spoiler: In order for him to lose his virginity to activate the book.]]

--> I love pizza so much, I don't know whether I should eat it or suck it off!

Also known as “Your Boy Troy”. A handsome young Satanist who Atticus recruits and almost immediately develops a crush on. Killed almost immediately after being introduced by the current MonsterOfTheWeek, but still remembered fondly for by the {{Fandom}} for his HoYay with Atticus.

* TheAce: He’s completely perfect at everything and has exactly one billion friends.
* BiggerIsBetterInBed All the ladies love him for his abnormally large penis.
--> The chicks dig me because I'm hung like a donkey with a big dick.
* BigManOnCampus: [[InformedAbility Allegedly]], we never see him before his introduction scene, but apparently everybody loves him.
* ChickMagnet: [[InformedAbility Apparently.]]
* TheDragon: For all of three minutes to Atticus.
* EnsembleDarkhorse: InUniverse, everybody loves Your Boy, Troy!
* FlatCharacter: He’s a cool Satanist who Atticus has a crush on. That’s all we get.
* HoYay: Despite having the least amount of screen time of any named character on the show, the amount of subtext between him and Atticus rivals Atticus/Todd in blatant-ness. It’s all PlayedForLaughs though.
* ILetGwenStacyDie: Parodied. Atticus knows him for a couple of minutes and yet is completely crushed by his immediate death.
* InSeriesNickname: “Your Boy Troy”. Since Atticus is the only person he ever gets to talk with, this verges on ThirdPersonPerson.
* InformedAbility: He tells Atticus literally everything we know about him. The only two characters we even get to see him interact with are Atticus and the Amish Girl.
* KilledOffForReal: An early victim of the living Birthday Cake.
* MauveShirt: He gets a scene immediately before he dies and enough HoYay with Atticus to fool you into thinking he was a major character.
* OneSceneWonder: Well, two scenes, but his screen time clocks in at 3 minutes, cementing him as one.
* ParodySue: Allegedly flawless, but all we get to see of him is a massive amount of HoYay with Atticus and then his death.
* ShipTease: With Atticus. It’s the only reason he even has a page on here.

A sentient book bound in the foreskin of Judas that can grant anybody whatever their heart desires ... at a massive price, that price usually being loads of gruesome deaths.

* ArtifactOfDoom: Obviously.
* CanisLatinicus: The magic words in the book.
* HumanResources: It's stitched together by the foreskin of Judas.
* JackassGenie: Want people to know what it's like to be gay to stop yourself from being bullied? It'll turn you straight and every male student gay and turn you straight, and they'll ''still'' hate you for your sexuality. Do you want to become the smartest kid in school? Done. You're still stupid, but hey, everyone else is now TooDumbToLive. You're a friendless loner that nobody likes? Okay, everyone you try to become friends with will latch onto you and be unable to let go without tearing you to pieces.
* KarmaHoudini: [[spoiler:As of ''The End of the End,'' it's still out there, flying around and preying on the students of Crowley High, as the gang continue to chase it.]]
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: '''The Book of Pure Evil.'''
* ObviouslyEvil: Aside from its name, it's bound in human flesh and has a pentagram on the front cover.
* TomeOfEldritchLore: It's a book. It's ancient. It twists your innermost desires in the worst way possible.
