Whereas Vinesauce is one of the more normal residents of Vineland Island (as most normal-looking residents tend to be), generally gets along well with his neighbors, and is one of many characters stuck in the middle of bizarre events, Mayor Vine lives in and maintains a town whose residents are eccentric or rude at worst, often comes across as a jerk or even a corrupt politician, and has a tendency to act like a crazy stalker toward his neighbors, such as when he tries to seduce Lolly (a character Vinesauce rarely, if ever, interacts with after she moves to his hometown) when she visits his house and when he tries to sneak up on Scoot with an axe.
