----
* AbusiveParents: Most of the cast does...Not have happy home lives, especially with their parents.
* ActionGirl: A good number of the female contestants are pretty tough in their own right.
* BadLiar: At least among the couples; most of their significant others can see through the other's lies pretty easily after spending so much time with them.
* BerserkButton: Just about everyone in the cast has at least one thing that sets them off easily.
* BrokenBird: To say a good number of them are really mentally unhinged would be a massive understatement.
* ButtMonkey: They all go through extraordinarily large amounts of pain every challenge.
** MadeOfIron: Despite this, they can all take quite a bit of punishment though.
* TheCynic: Thanks to how horrible their lives are, most of the cast doesn't think too highly of life.
* DeadpanSnarker: The entire cast is pretty sarcastic in their own right.
* Expy: Some of the characters have very clear inspiration points.
* Jerkass: A couple of the contestants aren't very nice to be sure.
** JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Despite this though, there redeeming qualities do seem to shine through at points.
** JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: Same goes for their worst moments though.
* HealingFactor: They're all able to recover from major injuries in surprising speed.
* NiceGirl and NiceGuy: A good portion of the contestants are pretty nice themselves.
* RagtagBunchOfMisfits: They're easily one of the oddest groups of people to ever be forced into dealing with one another for a large amount of time, especially considering that regardless of their multiple backgrounds, in each situation they're forced into, they always end up as the odd ones out.

->"I'm going to be splitting you each into two teams. So when I call your name, go stand on the right side of the area, and try to respect those you'll be teaming up with, because you'll be stuck with them for a long time...Depending, of course."
-->-- Amber

The teams of Fuzzy Memories: Total Drama Island are made up of The Brainy Baltoy and The Brawny Basculin. If the names of the teams didn't make it obvious, they were placed on the teams depending on whether they excelled more in intelligence or in athletics, leading to two polar opposite sides essentially duking it out every week in order to make sure they didn't end up on the chopping block.
----
* TheAce: Both teams had a definitive best player that actively played a role in challenge victories. Even when they didn't win, they still were usually among the best performing players.
* BrainsAndBrawn: The entire dynamic between both teams is that one excels in brains and the other in brawn.
* BreakingTheFellowship: While neither team truly wanted to, both were ultimately split up in the episode, "Camp Castaways", leaving all twelve remaining players on their own from that point forward.
* ButtMonkey: All of the players are actively put through painful and humiliating challenges, with just about every one of them at some point getting horribly beaten down by the things going on around them.
** IronButtMonkey: However, despite these horrible beatings they constantly endured each day, most of them were able to actually take the abuse and keep on competing through the challenges either due to their endurance, pure determination, or some bizarre mix of both.
* ColourCodedForYourConvenience: The Brainy Baltoy are blue, while the Brawny Basculin are red.
* ComicallyLopsidedRivalry: By the merge, [[spoiler:the Baltoy have only lost five members to the Basculin's seven lost members]].
* Dwindling Teams: Both teams gradually lose their teammates one at a time all the way up until the merge, which combined only leaves half of the original cast remaining.
* FireForgedFriends: Ultimately, in order to learn how to work together, the teams had to grow stronger as a unit during challenges, eventually leading to most of them forming strong friendships with their teammates as they got closer to the merge.
* Foil: Both teams actually serve as this for one another. The Brainy Baltoy are a group of intelligent, well-meaning players who just so happened to suffer from not being able to work that well with one another as a unit overall, but . The Brawny Basculin are a group of mostly anti-heroic players who actually were able to learn how to work together far fast than the Baltoy, but ultimately suffered throughout the competition due to conflicts affecting them heavily and their inability to properly communicate.
* MultinationalTeam: Both teams are made up entirely of contestants who don’t share the same species in any way, though even then, thanks to confirminations by WordOfGod, it’s been confirmed that most of them are from all around the world anyways.
* RedOniBlueOni: The Brawny Basculin were the RedOni to The Brainy Baltoy's BlueOni.
* TheRival: Served as rivals to one another during the competition due to always being forced into conflicts with one another to make sure they stayed in the game.
* SeinfeldianConversation: It doesn’t matter what team you were on during the competition, you most likely got roped into a mostly pointless conversation with one of your teammates.
* TrueCompanions: By the time of the merge, all that remained of both teams had actually grown close bonds with one another.

----
* TheAce: Isabel acted as TheLeader primarily of her team, but also went on to prove in most challenges that she was possibly one of their best members as well, with her usually being among those who have the best results in them. In fact, the only challenges she truly struggle in were ones that relied on use of her hands, as her species characteristics made them incredibly difficult for her.
* AHouseDivided: The team initially struggled with one another very badly early on due to Ace’s tyrannical control of his teammates and rude personality, leading to teamwork being near impossible and the morale basically the lowest it could possibly be.
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter:
** Ace had at least some potential to be a good leader if he just got his attitude and social skills under control, but in the end, Isabel still ultimately proved that she was superior since she was actually a great leader who proved herself as someone the others were more willing to work with.
** Ultimately in terms of raw power, the team as a whole was mostly decent or even better than average, but in the end, that doesn’t really mean too much when the Brawny Basculin simply outmatched them in just about every way in terms of athletics and strength.
* BadassBookworm: Despite the team being made up of people who excel more in terms of intelligence over raw power, a good number of them are still more than capable of proving themselves as being just as badass as those on the Basculin.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: They may ultimately be the friendlier of the two teams, but they are more than capable of being just as competitive and even potentially dangerous as the Basculin.
* TheBigGuy:
** While none of them possess any kind of remarkable strength, Gareth is still by far their strongest available player, to a point where in the episode, ”Dodgebrawl”, they essentially spent the whole episode struggling due to none of them being a match for the Brawny Basculin without his assistance.
** Zetsu actually ended up becoming an accidental version of this, often getting thrown into challenges as both the main punching bag and one of the few powerhouses in terms of staying up after taking hard hits, even if he himself was pretty weak.
* BlueIsHeroic: Their team color is blue, and between both teams, theirs is the one that is far more traditionally heroic in terms of personality and morals.
* Character Elimination: Warning, there will be some major story spoilers as part of this section!
** [[spoiler:Ace was eliminated in ”Who Can You Trust?”, ending the game in 12th place on his team, and 23rd place overall]].

** [[spoiler:Isabel was eliminated in ”That's Off The Chain!”, ending the game in 5th place on her team, and 9th place overall]].
** [[spoiler:Kanaya was eliminated in ”I Triple Dog Dare You!”, ending the game in 4th place on her team, and 7th place overall]].
** [[spoiler:Troll Doc was eliminated in ”No Pain, No Game”, ending the game in 3rd place on his team, and 5th place overall]].
** [[spoiler:Gareth was eliminated in ”Search and Do Not Destroy”, ending the game in 2nd place on his team, and 3rd place overall]].
** [[spoiler:Zetsu was eliminated in ”The Very Last Episode, Really!”, ending the game in 1st place on his team, and 2nd place overall]].
* CloudcuckoolandersMinder: Served as largely the sane contestants to counteract the Basculin’s status as the Cloudcuckoolander insane contestants.
* CombatPragmatist: Due to the Brawny Basculin having a clear power advantage, in order to win fights, most of the Baltoy had to implement more bizarre strategies.
* DitzyGenius: The likes of Gareth and Juvia may not be the most intelligent players among their team, but they both are able to show across the season that they’re actually pretty smart in their own right in certain tasks.
* Dwindling Team: By the merge, the only members still in the game were [[spoiler: Troll Doc, Gareth, Isabel, Juvia, Kanaya, Mimi, and Zetsu]].
* EpicFail: Their complete incompetence and inability to work together early on leads to them actually losing more challenges than the Basculin for the first quarter of the story. Inverted later on though as they gradually begin to work together in a better fashion.

* GeniusBruiser: While most of them aren't really the type to get into fights, Troll Doc and Gareth would overtime go on to prove themselves a decent challenge in a fight.
* GoodCounterpart: While not exactly the “good guys”, they are less antagonistic and generally friendlier team between the two.
* GoodIsNotDumb: The friendlier of the two teams, and their team is made up almost entirely of intelligent people.
* GoodIsNotNice: While they may be nicer than the Basculin, most of them still aren't that kind themselves.
* GracefulLoser: Compared to the The Brawny Basculin, they are actually able to take their losses a bit better and don't complain as much about it.
* HeadbuttingHeroes: A big problem with the team early on was simply that they could not find a way to actually work together, and thus ended up getting into fights with one another easily or weren't able to properly form real plans against the Basculin. Luckily, overtime thanks to CharacterDevelopment, they're able to start working better with one another.
* TheHeart:
** Juvia is the friendliest and most innocent member of the team, adding a nice feeling of heartwarming friendship to the group as a whole.
** Nedrick may not have seemed like the most liked member of the team at first, but ultimately, once he’s , his team was quick to go to his side and tell him how much they care about him .
* TheLancer:
** Troll Doc naturally seems to not get along very well with most types of authority, his personality usually clashing with theirs despite his reluctant obedience to their demands.
** Kanaya indirectly caused some conflict with her leader at the time due to their differing personalities and outlooks on the competition and life.
* TheLeader:
** Ace was the first and failed leader of the team, due to his demanding personality and rude way of talking to the others easily getting on the group’s nerves and making it near impossible to get anything of worth done. Ultimately, due to this, .
** Isabel ultimately , leading to her becoming the new leader of the team. She actually was the better leader, treating her teammates as equals while still being notably strict when they need to get something done, leading her team to success multiple times.
* LovableRogue: Troll Doc, who doesn’t really do too well with authority, usually leading to him doing his own thing and oddly usually succeeding in doing so.
* MeaningfulName: They’re the Brainy Baltoy, so the fact they’re a team made up almost entirely with smart people isn’t too much of a surprise.
* MultinationalTeam:
** Ace is from .
** Alfred and Zetsu are from South Korea.
** Troll Doc is from .

** Mimi is from .
** Nedrick is from .
** Violet is from .
* NerdsAreSexy: Among the team, Gareth, Isabel, Juvia, Kanaya, and Violet are all seen as quite attractive.
* OnlySaneMan: Mimi is widely seen as the most normal contestant on the team in the fact she’s the only one who is usually able to keep the rest of them locked to reality. Even the other most normal members of the team usually end up showing signs of potential insanity due to their Foil foils constantly bringing out that side to them, leaving her as the only one.
* OvershadowedByAwesome: Compared to the Brawny Basculin, they usually don’t get as much of a chance to show off during challenges, mostly due to the fact they’re all focused around physical power over any kind of mental power.
* TheProtagonist: Effectively have far more important plotlines and major characters than the Brawny Basculin.
* Showy Invincible Team: .
* SixthRanger: Alfred and Freya never really were given an opportunity to stand out from the rest of their team in just about anything.
* TheSmartGuy:
** Mimi is the sanest memeber of the team, and the most likely to point out flaws in their plans due to finding them to be rather obvious.
** Violet is the smartest member of the team, despite her rather odd personality, and went on to show time and time again that she knows how to get things done not through traditional means, but almost entirely through her mind games.
* SoleSurvivor: After the episode , the only remaining member of the team still in the game was [[spoiler:Zetsu]].
* TagalongKid: Alfred is the youngest member of the team and the one who oddly stood out the most at first due to his awkward behavior. However, after [[spoiler:standing up to and causing the downfall of Ace]], he earned more respect on the team and was seen as a bonafide major member of it in his own right.
* TeamDad: Zetsu acted as the closest thing to a father figure for the rest of his team, being both the oldest member of it and the most matured by that point in the series, having a full-time job and a lot of responsibilities outside of the season. Throughout their time together and even after, his teammates would often come to him in order to vent about their frustrations. Later on, Violet basically admitted the main reason for this is that he’s easy to trust and kind of fun to talk to.
* TeamSpirit: By the end of the pre-merge of FMTDI, the team has grown to be far less pessimistic and a lot more willing to trust each other, leading to them occasionally displaying a strong sense of team spirit and hope in their teammates.
* TeenGenius: They’re all teenagers, and most of them possess a surprisingly large amount of intelligence for their age.
* TeethClenchedTeamwork: Early on the team had problems working with each other in just about every way, mostly due to the poor leadership they faced from Ace and the personal drama between Isabel and Kanaya.
* TookALevelInBadass: About a quarter of the way into the season, the team began to better work together and do better in challenges as well, ultimately actually becoming [[spoiler:the superior team in terms of wins when compared to the Brawny Basculin]].
* TokenEvilTeammate: Ace, who was a horrible leader to the rest of his team, a complete Jerkass to everyone on it, and selfish in just about every way. [[spoiler:though this is ultimately Subverted upon the reveal that he isn’t really evil, and more so just has a really hard time trusting others or giving them the benefit of the doubt without his sister around to keep him in line, which is enough for Alfred to give him another chance after the show, which ultimately led to the two becoming HeterosexualLifePartners]].
* UnderestimatingBadassery: Early on in the season, they were quick to underestimate the Brawny Basculin due to their perceived lack of brainpower. .
* VictoryByEndurance: Surprisingly, compared to their enemy at least, while not nearly as strong overall, they have proven time and time again to be able to take a lot of punishment in dire situations, such as Zetsu basically being tossed around like a ragdoll but still being able to get back up, or Violet being able to more or less last hours in one spot without moving or showing any fatigue.
* WeakButSkilled: While not that strong overall, they do possess a large number of skills that ultimately help them win several challenges.
* WeAreStrugglingTogether: During the first quarter of the series, the entire team had trouble working together due to their own lack of trust in one another overall.
* WithFriendsLikeThese: At several points during the competition, even the most kind members of the team ultimately betrayed the group for their own selfish goals. Even by the end of the second quarter of the season, when just about everyone left on the team considered one another a friend, they still showed themselves to value their own goals over any of the team’s.
* WorldOfSnark: Everyone on the team is pretty scathingly sarcastic and deadpan overall, especially when compared to the Brawny Basculin.

* TheAce: Tempest, who is by far the strongest and fastest member of the team who consistently does the best in challenges, and her near endless energy and determination only make her more of a threat to the Brainy Baltoy. The only reason she isn’t a consistent threat throughout the game is because her actual skill in challenges relies almost entirely on whether or not she’s interested in the task at hand.
* AHouseDivided: The team had an infamous reputation during the game for being completely unstable in just about every way. It wasn’t until near the end of the pre-merge that they started getting along with each other.
* ALighterShadeOfBlack: They may be the more antagonistic group between the two teams, but they’re no where near as villainous as the hosts at least.
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter:
** Brick prides himself heavily on his strength, but ultimately Chad and especially Tempest simply blow him out of the water in that department, making him seem downright weak by comparison.
** Ultimately in terms of overall brainpower, the team as a whole was mostly decent or even better than average, but in the end, that doesn’t really mean too much when the Brainy Baltoy simply outmatched them in just about every way in terms of intelligence and wisdom.
* AnimalMotif: Piranha.
* AntiHeroTeam: A good number of the team is made up of the more morally gray contestants, some of which even acting as major antagonists in the season, including Benson, Brick, Cynthia, Kaden, Nazira, Jerkass Sage, and Tempest.
* BadassCrew: Just about everyone on the team is very strong athletically and more than capable of surprisingly awesome accomplishments. In fact, by the end of the season, everyone has had at least one moment, while Tempest had at least one per episode.
* BewareTheSillyOnes: Most of their teammates may be strange, confusing, or otherwise simply completely intimidating due to their odd personalities, but don't even think about underestimating them, as they are by far the largest threat in the game in terms of physical superiority and near invulnerable strength.
* TheBigGuy:
** Chad is the most athletically gifted of the entire cast, having played sports for most of his life and currently was on his way to a scholarship before the show. He's also conveniantly among the tallest contestants as well.
** Tempest is the strongest contestant on the entire show, acting as the primary source of brute strength and unbeatable speed in challenges that require it.

* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: While they may be the oddest of the bunch in terms of overall sanity, don't go underestimate them, as they're made up of some of the strongest characters in the series' history.
* CurbStompBattle: In a fight, this team easily dominates the enemy team overall due to their team being far superior in terms of brute strength.
* Deuteragonist: Between them and the Brainy Baltoy, this team received less focus and overall plot progression. They certainly weren't OutOfFocus on any level, but it still was noticeable.
* DividedWeFall: A vast majority of their losses could be chocked up to the team simply struggling with each other far more than with the other team. These personal conflicts are ultimately to blame for them [[spoiler:losing more challenges than the Brainy Baltoy]].
* Dwindling Team: By the merge, the only members still in the game were [[spoiler: Bari, Chad, Cynthia, Nazira, and Tempest.]]
* EpicFail: The team as a whole was .
* EvilCounterpart: While not exactly the “bad guys”, they are generally the more hostile and ambitious team between the two.
* Failure Team: Compared to the Brainy Baltoy, .

*** Cynthia
*** Quincy
* FromBadToWorse: While they were never a perfect team in the beginning, they certainly worked together a lot better than [[spoiler:by the end, where they were often losing far more challenges than the enemy team, usually losing two challenges in a row before the Brainy Baltoy lose another member.
* HairTriggerTemper: The entire team as a whole is far more aggressive than the Brainy Baltoy, leading to them easily starting conflicts with one another and with the other team.
* HardWorkHardlyWorks: The team usually put in a lot of effort every episode in order to try and win, but their own incompetence and aggressive attitude towards one another often led to them .
* HonorBeforeReason: Overall, the members of the team were far more likely to do something if it was due to actually aiding their own egos rather than if it was actually a good idea in any way.
* HumiliationConga: Oh boy, the second quarter of the series was not kind to them. [[spoiler:By the end of it, they had lost Alia, Brick, Brooke, and Quincy on top of their other losses, they had lost nearly every challenge, had only caused more personal conflicts within their group, and overall just failed to find any real way of keeping themselves together for very long. It was quite embarrassing to witness, and probably even more embarrassing for them to get through]].
* TheHeart:
** Bari was by far the kindest member of the team overall, having a good heart and a sense of UndyingLoyalty towards his teammates. Add in his surprisingly dorky qualities, and it starts to make sense why his team valued his presence so much.
** Quincy may not have helped that much in challenges and had a tendency to value being out in nature a bit more, but that didn't stop his teammates from liking him enough that they didn't want to willingly vote him off, with him actually becoming good friends with a good number of his teammates.
* TheLancer:
** Brick consistently was quick to argue with the leaders of the team, causing conflict quickly and having a hard time with their authority overall, leading him to often act as more of a wild card than what was needed.
** Nazira may have been close friends with one of the leaders, but that didn't stop her from constantly calling out the leader in question on her more questionable choices.
* TheLeader:
** Jerkass Sage was the first leader of the team, but failed to actually be a good one due to her hostility, her dictator-like qualities coming to the forefront, and her issues with working with others overall. .
** Cynthia was the replacement for Sage after she , and unlike her, she actually was a pretty good leader due to her more understanding but strict personality, a far less obvious ego, and more.
* LeaderWannabe: Sage failed to be a good leader to her most negative traits often being of far more focus than anything she was actually saying, leading to her teammates quickly forming a negative opinion of her.
* TheLoad: Alia has a problem with taking orders and authority in general, and along with that has a hard time remembering anything she is told and lacks any notable strength or intelligence, making her largely useless to her team as a whole.
* MeaningfulName: They’re the Brawny Basculin, so the fact they’re a team made up almost entirely with smart people isn’t too much of a surprise.
* MultinationalTeam
* RedIsViolent: Their team color is red, and between both teams, theirs is the one that is far more aggressive and traditionally villainous as a whole.
* ShooOutTheClowns: By the merge, several of their members used heavily for comic relief have been eliminated, including [[spoiler:Benson, Alia, Brick, Brooke, and Quincy]].
* TheSmartGuy:
** Benson may not seem that smart at first, spoiler:but that's mostly because he was mostly just pretending to be an idiot and is actually a gifted actor and strategist who was just trying to play the part of a stereotype in order to be memorable to the audience and to get his acting out there to a new audience.
** Brooke is the quickest to point out flaws in plans that her teammates' create, and usually the most deadpan in terms of acting as the sanest member of the team.
* SoleSurvivor: After the episode , the only remaining member of the team still in the game was [[spoiler:Nazira]].
* TeamMom: While she may not seem like the type to fit the role, Nazira quickly took on a more parental role in the team by quickly promising some of the weakest players in the game(including Bari), that she'd try to protect them.
* TeamPet: Bari, who was commonly treated more so as if he was the team's puppy than as if he was an actual contestant in the competition...It wasn't an inaccurate way of treating him honestly.
* TeamPrimaDonna: Considering his status as an actor, it really shouldn't be too much of a surprise that Benson was usually the quickest to make a big deal of a seemingly minor issue. .
* TeethClenchedTeamwork: Throughout the entire first half of the game, the team found it near impossible to work together due to the group as a whole being very aggressive and loud as a whole, leading to plenty of arguments.
* TokenEvilTeammate: Kaden, who treated his team horribly, clearly didn't care enough about the game to actually try too hard in challenges, and was far more focused on attempting to pursue Gareth for a relationship despite him clearly not being interested.
* TokenGoodTeammate: Quincy was the only member of the team to never join an alliance, valued the safety of others and his moral code far more than the game, treated everyone with respect, and was kind to a fault. To say he stood out from the rest of his team would be an understatement.
* TrueCompanions: Come the final episode of the pre-merge, and everyone left on the team has actually grown a close connection with one another to a point where it's hard for any of them to vote each other off at all. Even Tempest seems to be on decent terms with her teammates, despite usually pushing them away.
* UnderdogsNeverLose: In the end, .
* Underestimating Intelligence: Later on in the season, they were quick to underestimate the Brainy Baltoy due to their perceived lack of strength. .
* UndyingLoyalty: By the merge, all the remaining members of the team, with an exception of Tempest, became members of a defacto alliance made up of former members of the team.
* UnskilledButStrong: They may be very strong, but they aren't actually all that good at a majority of tasks overall, leading to them being completely incompetent in several task.
* VitriolicBestBuds: Most of them were quick to grow a bond of sorts with one another, but that didn't stop all of them from constantly teasing and snarking at one another.

----

* AntiHero: Unwillingly ended up serving this role throughout FMTDI due to his poor choices in allies causing him to generally be at odds with most of the cast, whether he knew it or not.
* BigEater: Good God, this isn't even scratching the surface of it.
** BlackHoleBelly: He can seem put away nearly endless amounts of food, and he's always sure to clean his plate spotless, even if the actual food on said plate stacks up to the top of a house.
** TooDesperateToBePicky: Due to him growing up homeless on the streets, he rarely if ever gets a real chance to eat, so he's most certainly going to abuse the idea of free food.
** TooHungryToBePolite: When he gets his paws on food, he more or less loses any sense of trying to be polite about it.
* BreakTheCutie: Brick betraying his trust really did a number on the poor guy.
* BrokenPedestal: Basically loses any respect he once had for Brick after he attempts to eliminate him while insulting him as useless and pathetic.
** RebuiltPedestal:
* ButtMonkey: Acted as one during the pre-merge of FMTDI. Ultimately Downplayed after "Basic Straining", before being completely Inverted by the merge.
%%* ClassicalAntiHero
* DemotedToExtra: Ultimately decides to not come back to the new season as either a contestant or a staff member.
* Expy: Very similar to Owen in a very specific quality.
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Started out like this due to his terrible odor, but over time, he ultimately loses this status as the cast learns about his kind personality. Certainly helps that he ultimately loses the smell with time.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: Slowly begins to form this dynamic with Brick...Before his true colors resurface and he ultimately ruins their relationship through it.
**
* HyperactiveMetabolism: The only reasonable explanation for how he's able to stay as thin as he is while eating mountains worth of food.
* IdiotHero: Downplayed in that he isn't that stupid and he actually served as more of an AntiHero for the series, but he's still a good guy.
* NiceGuy: Is overall a genuine, friendly guy, even if he can kinda be a bit of a moron at times.
* UndyingLoyalty: Is fiercely loyal to his friends, being compared to a caring, loving puppy in how he acts towards them.
* VisibleOdor: At first. It gets Downplayed with time.

* AbusiveParents:
* TheBigGuy: Served this role on the Brainy Baltoy, ultimately being the strongest among them overall.
* BrainlessBeauty: Is seen as really attractive among the male cast. He's also easily among the dimmest of them.
* BornLucky: Gets almost ridiculously lucky throughout all of FMTDI when it comes down to avoiding eliminations.
%%* ClassicalAntiHero
* Cloudcuckoolander: Some of the rather insane stuff he does can best be chalked up to him being pretty hopelessly idiotic, mixed with this.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: He may not be too bright, and is a bit too friendly, but he's actually pretty strong for his species, being considered the most athletic member of the Brainy Baltoy.
* DemotedToExtra: Ultimately decides to not compete in the new season.
* TheDitz: He's...Certainly not the brightest.
* DumbIsGood: Is both one of the dumbest, and kindest contestants of the entire series.
* IdiotHero: Served as a main character of FMTDI, and wasn't particularly intelligent.
* KindheartedSimpleton: She's easily one of the nicest, most idealistic people in the game. He's also kind of an idiot.
* LoonWithAHeartOfGold: He's very immature, stupid, childish, and downright moronic for his age. Doesn't mean he isn't a good person.
* OddFriendship: With the emotionless, creepy Violet.
**
* OfficialCouple: With Violet.
* PlatonicLifePartners: With Juvia, who he's stayed in contact with even long after FMTDI.
* PrettyBoy: Isn't particularly athletic or intelligent, but dang is he pretty.
* TheProtagonist: Served as the main character of FMTDI.
** This is even reflected in the "Stories of Our Lives" special, where he's the first contestant shown on-screen, and the only one to get multiple appearances in the story.
* RelationshipUpgrade: Went from being best friends with Violet to being her boyfriend.
* WhatTheHellHero: Basically everyone calls him out on the fact that his crush on Violet has made him not show up for the following challenge(Dodgeball), and even ends up avoiding Juvia and Violet, his best friends.

----
* DemotedToExtra: Due to Gareth no longer competing in the new season, he's likely going to get even less screentime than before, even when compared to Gareth.
* HateSink: Openly portrayed as the exact opposite of Gareth, and not in a good way, supplying no likable qualities.
* HiddenDepths:
* Jerkass: He's rude, cynical, and very antagonistic towards Gareth most of the time.
** JerkWithAHeartOfGold:
* KickTheDog: All of his actions towards Gareth's fellow contestants and are very mean-spirited and cruel, to a pretty despicable extent.
* OddFriendship:
* WalkingSpoiler: His entire existence is a spoiler.

* AxeCrazy: Bar none the most agressive and insane of the contestants, constantly threatening violence and fighting anything that's bigger than her. And winning. She mellows out after a while.
* BadassAdorable: She's a Joltik, a naturally cute looking pokemon, but is also the Brawny Basculin's most formidable member, and a formidable fighter in general.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: She's clearly nuts, but whenever Tempest decides to focus on the challenge, she's liable to net the team the win.
* Cloudcuckoolander: She refers to everyone as demons or mortals, never stops shouting and seems to believe her life is some sort of RPG, if some of her dialogue is any indication. She's definitely living in her own world half of the time.
* HeadPet: She's rather fond of riding around in Zetsu's fluff.
* HiddenDepths: As crazy as she seems, she's rather knowledgable about explosives, managing to craft a bomb out of forest materials for a bonfire once.
* TheNicknamer: Only refers to the other contestants by some variation of demon. Zetsu is the fluffy demon, for instance.

* BewareTheNiceOnes: He's always polite with those around him, but the times he's been pushed too far show him too be a lot more dangerous than he lets on.
* NervousWreck: Poor guy is always near the verge of a panic attack, which is not helped by how often bad things seem to happen to him.
* NotSoAboveItAll: He's one of the saner contestants, but the moment Tempest gets involved, he manages to disturb even himself with the things he finds himself being interested in.
* PintSizedPowerhouse: He's not particularly imposing, size wise, but he manages to knock down opponents larger than him on a few occassions.
* TookALevelInBadass: He starts the game as a NervousWreck with who was tricked into joining the competition as a prank by his coworkers. Over the course of the game, he manages to achieve progressively more impressive stunts,

%%* TheBigGuy
%%* BigManOnCampus
* BoisterousBruiser: Quick to brag about his accomplishments, though it's actually Downplayed, as while he is quite strong, he's really not all that impressive.
%%* ClassicalAntiHero
* FatalFlaw: Pride.
* Jerkass: Easily the most blatant one of the newbies barring Akira. He's simply not very pleasant to be around, and he's quite aggressive towards basically everyone around him.
* JerkJock: Quite the musclehead in his own right, and the most traditionally jock-like competitor in the competition. He's also easily one of the biggest pricks in the game.
* SmallNameBigEgo: Has possibly the most insufferable ego in the entire game.

--> "Look, I'm not an idiot. I chose those Houdours for a simple reason...To show Isabel that I'm more than capable of handling some tough dogs on my own. I'll be the one doing all the work, while her little girlfriend will be struggling. After that, Isabel will see that I'm the better one for her, and will ditch that ditzy psychic for me. It's brilliant!"
-->-- Wyatt Oldring

Wyatt Oldring, labeled The Girl-Obsessed Wimp, and later The Stubborn Homewrecker is a contestant from Total Drama 'Round the World We Go.

Quickly, Wyatt established himself as not being a very competent player. Having not watched the previous season, he didn't truly know how to strategize, make real allies, or even succeed in challenges, leading to a low placement in the first leg. This changed upon him gaining an attraction for Isabel, only to then realize she was already in a relationship with Kanaya. This did not stop him though, as he went on to spend the rest of the second leg attempting to gain her affections, which resulted in him making a multitude of self-destructive mistakes. This would cost him greatly, as his team was the last to finish the Intersection, before then proceeding to come in last place, never even finishing the detour, and becoming the first contestant eliminated from TDR.
----
* AbhorrentAdmirer: Became a rather obvious one for Isabel, someone who was already in a happy relationship with Kanaya, but he nonetheless continued to pursue her as a romantic interest, quickly annoying the couple.
* AllForNothing: Not only does he not get Isabel, but he finishes the race with already the worst possible finishing average, has no friends, has probably lost the respect of the viewers of the series, and overall, is coming out of the show losing more than he had before. He even brings up on his way out that the show more screwed him than anything.
* AllMenArePerverts: A very blatant one, falling head over heels for Isabel instantly simply due to her being hot, and attempting several rather scandalous moves during the two legs he competed in.
* CasanovaWannabe: Seems to see himself as a lady killer in terms of attractiveness, charm, and personality. In all reality, he's the exact opposite.
* ClassicalAntiHero: He starts off the race as a seemingly genuine, if ditzy nice guy, even getting along decently with Chad. However, he's prone to rushing into decisions and is incapable of accepting his own mistakes, leading to his positive traits often falling to the wayside.
* DeathInTheLimelight: The first two legs of TDR featured him prominently, acting as the first person in the series to get a penalty for playing the challenge wrong(knocking him from second place, all the way down to thirty third), becoming the first ArcVillain of a leg due to his actions throughout the second one, and then proceeding to be the first contestant eliminated from the season.
* DistractedByTheSexy: The second he lays his eyes on Isabel, the rest of his game goes out the window.
* DownerEnding: Though a well-deserved one. He fails to get Isabel as a girlfriend, is the first contestant to get eliminated, and becomes the biggest loser in the series' history.
* TheDitz: Seemingly was incapable of telling Casper was actually a guy.
* Expy: His status as a HateSink first boot is very reminiscent of Kaden, the first boot of TDI in-universe.
* FatalFlaw: His inability to learn from his mistakes, or realize he's in the wrong.
* HandsomeLech: He really isn't that bad looking, he's just not as attractive as he thinks. However, his personality is pretty ugly, leading to him not being too popular with the ladies during his short stay.
* HateSink: Easily the most despicable member of the entire cast to ever compete, simply on account of just how little shame he feels at trying to steal Isabel away from Kanaya, and his rather nasty behavior towards the other contestants as well.
* InnocentBigot: Completely accidentally refers to Casper, an LGBT man, as a girl, simply because he couldn't tell him apart from one.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Spends his entire time in the game seeing himself as the main character of some kind of romantic comedy, when really he ends up as the first ArcVillain of the series due to a multitude of mistakes.
* LackOfEmpathy: Seems to in no way consider how Kanaya would be affected by him suddenly breaking the two up.
* NiceGuy: Initially is portrayed as one, though a little insensitive. But...
** BitchInSheepsClothing: He's actually a perverted, conniving little jerk who attempts to break up Isabel and Kanaya so he can get with the former.
* SmallNameBigEgo: Seems to see himself as a ladies man, when really he isn't much of a looker and certainly doesn't have much of a likable personality to speak of.
* SmugSnake: Has complete confidence that his advances towards Isabel are more charming than annoying, and that he's guaranteed to get her affections.

* NiceGuy: A genuine and quite friendly person.
* NoSocialSkills: While not as bad as Jane or Merle, he notably has a pretty hard time relating to his teammates, and is a bit too dim to understand most conversations.
* OneHeadTaller: Noted to be far taller than the usual Drifblim, and is by far the tallest and largest player in the whole competition.
* TheStoic: Rarely exhibits much emotion, especially towards the other competitors.
** NotSoStoic: Though, he has his moments where he shows just how kind of a person he truly is.
* TokenGoodTeammate: By and far the kindest member of his team, lacking a single mean bone in his body.
* WhenHeSmiles: While mostly emotionless towards his fellow players, the moments where he smiles are honestly quite heartwarming.

* AntiHero: While certainly not a villain, he can be quite the jerk, and rarely is ever the most heroic figure in the room.
* TheBigGuy: Downplayed, as the whole team is made up of them, but he's probably the most traditional example of the group for standing out as a large, strong guy with little intelligence.
* BigManOnCampus: WordOfGod has confirmed that outside the competition, he's quite popular at the college he's attending, and on the show itself, he stands out as acting like your traditional popular jock.
* BloodKnight: Certainly loves the occasional good fight.
* BoisterousBruiser: Quick to brag about his accomplishments, though it's actually DownplayedL, as while he is quite strong and likes a good fight, he's possibly the weakest member of his team physically.
* FatalFlaw: Pride.
* Jerkass: With exception of Akira, he's probably the biggest jerk of the Rhyperior.
* JerkJock: Quite the musclehead in his own right, and the most traditionally jock-like of his team. He's also easily one of the biggest pricks on it.

----
* AbsurdPhobia: She is terrified of dodgeballs, most likely due to a NoodleIncident she experienced as a kid. She can't even be in the same room as them without freaking out slightly.
* AcademicAlphaBitch: During her high school days, she got near perfect grades...While being incredibly rude and bitchy as well.
* AcquiredSituationalNarcissism: Occasionally, she becomes far more arrogant than how she usually acts, usually while she's hosting the show.
* ActionGirl: While she usually doesn't partake in any kind of violence,
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: Original versions typically portrayed her as a standard, celebrity-obsessed diva with a close connection to Logan. Fuzzy Memories portrays her similarly, except she isn't as celebrity obsessive, is a bit more stereotypically rude, has an even closer connection to Logan, suffers from a multitude of psychological issues, and is capable of developing family-like connections with others, most of which being quite a difference from her counterparts.
* ADayInTheLimelight: "Dodgebrawl", which gave her a tiny bit more focus in terms of CharacterDevelopment.
* AdultsAreUseless: Rarely if ever intervenes during challenges, no matter what problems are brewing from it.
* AffablyEvil: Well, less "evil", and more so just antagonistic. Regardless of that, she's usually pretty polite to others as a whole, and is downright fun to be around due to her personality having so much charm.
* AgeLift: Went from being around her early 20's to being somewhere in the middling 20's to early 30's range. Though, they've never confirmed an official age.
* AllGirlsWantBadBoys: In her youth, she primarily dated and had one-night stands with the "baddest" boys in school, usually consisting of thugs, drug dealers, outcasts, dropouts, etc. She grew out of it with time.
* AllLoveIsUnrequited: Seems like she's completely unaware of Logan's rather obvious feelings towards her, usually comparing him to a close family member more than anything. Eventually Subverted however, as it's revealed in "Dodgebrawl" that she has returned his feelings for a long time.
* AllOfTheOtherReindeer: When she was younger, she was actually a social outcast, being seen as a whore, a loner, rude, and just overall someone people didn't want to be around. By the end of high school though, she had apparently become one of the more popular kids in school.
* AlphaBitch: Even now, Amber is among some of the richest and most popular celebrities in all of Canadian television history, being notably pretty and very rich as well. She's also hiding quite the mean streak that goes against her usually polite personality.
** LovableAlphaBitch: Despite this, she has shown time and again that she is very loyal to her friends and family, prioritizing them above all else and being willing to put the show on hold to make sure they feel better.
* AmbitionIsEvil: She's a very ambitious and determined person, but she's also one of primary antagonists of the series.
* AnIcePerson: Due to her species being an Ice-Type, she has power over the ice element and is capable of producing attacks using it. Throughout the series, she has frozen many people in order to stop them from doing something or for annoying her, and she's surprisingly more than capable of keeping herself safe with it.
* AttentionWhore: She's the primary hostess of Total Drama as a whole, and thus love being in the limelight and being the "star" of the show. Seems to have carried over from her childhood, as she was pretty selfish in this regard even then.
* BadBoss: She doesn't treat Tyson with much respect despite her friendship with him, she occasionally forgets to pay them the appropriate amount of money, and she even borderline threatens the Nurse with potential harm if she doesn't help Logan enough. Seems to be fading with time though.
* BeautyIsNeverTarnished: No matter what happens to her, she always seems to be able to hold onto her tantalizing beauty, even if she obviously shouldn't.
* BeneathTheMask: Underneath the personality of a popular diva who's obsessed with fashion, .
* BerserkButton:
** Dodgeball! She is absolutely terrified of it after all, so usually, bringing it up or forcing her to go over the rules of it will quickly lead to her growing frustrated and make her downright aggressive.
** Hurting Logan is also a notable one, as she will be more than willing to hold a grudge afterwards and will even threaten others with violence when it happens.
** Interrupting her over and over again while she's speaking will do you no favors, instead more likely causing her to freeze you.
* BestFriend: She's best friends with Logan, who she's known for a good portion of her life and has a deep, personal connection with.
* BetaCouple: With Logan, who she's in a relationship with while not being a real contestant on the show.
* BigBad: On a more "meta" level at least, she is the one in charge of putting challenges together, and thus torturing the contestants in the long run. In all reality, she actually isn't all too bad a person, it really is more so that her job puts her constantly at odds against the cast then anything.
* TheBigDamnKiss: Amber and Logan exchange a kiss in order to establish the beginning of their relationship.
* BirdsOfAFeather: With Logan, as they're both fashion divas who love being in the spotlight.
* BreakTheHaughty:
** During "If You Can't Take the Heat...", she nearly has an emotional breakdown after seeing Logan get a serious injury.
** It's ultimately even worse in "No Pain, No Game", where she is driven apart from Gareth due to his words towards Logan, leaving the latter in a , and causing her to not be able to properly speak to the former after having spent the season developing a parental bond with him.
* CannotSpitItOut: She struggled ever showing signs of or revealing her crush on Logan.
* CaptainObvious: Has a habit of stating things right after they just happened.
* CharacterDevelopment: Amber began the series as the whiny, kind of rude hostess of Total Drama, acting as the contestant's main torturer and frequent annoyance due to her job forcing her to be this way. [[spoiler:By the end of FMTDI, she had developed a relationship with Logan, became a ParentalSubstitute to Gareth, and had actually grown quite fond of the kids as a whole, even saying she'd miss them after the show]].
* CharacterizationMarchesOn: At the beginning of the series, her and Logan were nearly identical in terms of personality. Overtime though, she was more characterized by her more whiny tendencies, an AffablyEvil personality, her status as a ParentalSubstitute for Gareth, and optimistic outlook on life.
* ColorCodedForYourConvenience: A bright, icy blue is often associated with her.
* ComedicSociopathy: Due to her job, she'll actively fake gleeful reactions to the torturous challenges on display for the audience.
* CuteBruiser: She's surprisingly strong despite her rather adorable and attractive appearance.
* DeadpanSnarker: Less of one than most of the cast, but if people continuously interrupt her, she will begin to become annoyed and far more sarcastic.
* DeathGlare: Is more than capable of pulling off a rather intimidating and even downright terrifying glare that'll usually shut just about anyone up.
* DefrostingIceQueen: At the beginning of the series, she acted rather coldly and uncaring towards the contestants. .
* DepravedKidsShowHost: By all extent, Total Drama is a series that In-Universe is meant for the whole family to watch, and yet she constantly puts teenagers through a series of dangerous challenges just for watchers.
* TheDitz: Despite her status as the primary hostess of the series, or possibly because of it, Amber actually isn't all too bright, and will commonly completely overlook key details in challenges or seemingly not notice any kind of suspicious behavior behind the scenes.
* DramaQueen: She will often overdramatically describe things to make them seem far more important than they actually are(as in, she treats losing her makeup as being one of the great tragedies of history).
* DudeMagnet: Hilariously Inverted; despite her attractive appearance, absolutely none of the guys in the series sans Logan seem to have any interest in her, or even seem to find her that pretty.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: In the earlier episodes, Amber and Logan were nearly identical in terms of personality.
* Expy: Obviously based heavily on Chris McLean and Mildred "Blaineley" Stacey Andrews O'Halloran, but she also seems to have been partially inspired by Stacy London.
* FamilyOfChoice: Amber and Gareth may not be related by blood, but by the end of FMTDI, the two have grown into having a bond similar to that of a mother and her son, with the former becoming the supportive and caring mother the latter never got to truly have.
* TheFashionista: Absolutely loves fashion, and will frequently go about getting the latest and best in terms of clothing.
* FatalFlaw: The fact she fails to notice or completely overlooks several important things in every challenge.
* GirlyBruiser: To say she's very girly would be understating it, but that doesn't change the fact that she's easily one of the more dangerous members on staff due to her surprisingly strong ice attacks.
* GreenEyedMonster: Seems to hold a grudge against an unnamed duo who are hosting a celebrity-based show, which was born out of envy due to them essentially taking the job she wanted.
* GrowingUpSucks: She hates the fact that she's actively aging, and that she can't do a thing about it.
** Seems to have gotten over it after the TimeSkip, even allowing some of her imperfections to show, such as wrinkles.
* TheHedonist: Is almost entirely focused on trying to live life to the fullest and enjoy it in any way she can, pursuing her own enjoyment over anything else.
* HeIsNotMyBoyfriend: States multiple times throughout the first half of FMTDI that her and Logan aren't dating.
* HiddenDepths: She actually has a surprising amount of fighting skills despite her personality, being capable of freezing and thus completely stopping Tempest in her tracks with just one ice beam. One can't help but wonder just how strong she is to be capable of doing that.
* HiddenHeartOfGold: A lot of her more antagonistic moments actually come from the fact she's getting paid to torture the contestants, and is actually far nicer when not working.
* IcyBlueEyes: Her eyes are a beautiful blue color, with a similar color to her ice-like powers.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Due to her status as the primary hostess of the series, it's to be expected that she loves making everything about her and having some kind of relation to her.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: One of the primary antagonists of the series as a whole and someone prone to making things more about her than anyone else, but depending on who you are, Amber is more than capable of displaying genuine loyalty and kindness, valuing her closest friendships as the most important thing in her life.
* JustFriends: Constantly claims that her and Logan are just this. That is, until they get together.
* KarmaHoudini: Despite being the contestant's primary torturer throughout all of FMTDI, she never gets any consequences. That is, until she gets thrown into the ocean by them at the end of the season.
* KickTheDog: Her showing no concern about Tempest's well-being during a major storm, despite the fact that a single drop of rain is roughly just under the size of her entire body.
* LargeHam: She plays up everything she does to overdramatic levels of ham, usually while the cameras are rolling.
* LawfulNeutral: She may be the main torturer for the cast, but that doesn't change the fact she has shown kindness time and time again towards those she truly cares about, proving she isn't all bad, and while she can be lenient on things, she usually strictly enforces the rules of challenges on the contestants.
* LegFocus: In her opinion, her legs are her most attractive feature...Besides her face...And her body...And her-
* MamaBear: Has become very protective of Gareth, to a point of where she's more than willing to do whatever is needed to keep him safe and make sure he stays happy and innocent.
* MasculineGirlFeminineBoy: Downplayed, as while Amber is the more masculine one between herself and Logan, they are both more feminine than anything.
* MoralityPet: Gareth, who she has become something similar to a ParentalSubstitute for, and thus seems to try her hardest to seem like a far better person than usual around him.
* MsFanservice: In-Universe; WordOfGod has confirmed that on-camera, she likes to flaunt her personality and appearance for the cameras, since it's "good for ratings".
* Narcissist: Has a very high opinion of herself, or so we think.
* NoodleIncident:
** Her and Logan apparently...Did "something" during their college days.
** Apparently had a bad enough experience with dodgeballs in high school to have now grown an AbsurdPhobia around them.
* ObliviousToLove: She wasn't even aware of the fact that her best friend, Logan, had a huge crush on her.
* OddFriendship: With Chad, who she oddly has grown a fondness for due to the fact he's the only one who ever gets excited for the challenges she put so much work into making.
* OfficialCouple: With Logan.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Looks roughly as old as the teenage contestants, but she's actually in her early 20's to mid 30's.
** WordOfGod later confirmed she was 36 in FMTDI, and is 42 after the TimeSkip.
* ParentalSubstitute: For Gareth, who she has grown a personal connection for and now acts as a parental surrogate figure for. It's gotten to the point that the two are actively now defending one another's actions whenever they do something wrong. WordOfGod has also gone on to confirm that due to the shabby conditions of his household, that Gareth has actually moved in with her.
* PerpetualSmiler: For the camera at least, as she's never seen not flashing it a bright smile.
* PetTheDog:
** Her protective behavior towards Logan's safety during episodes like "Not Quite Famous" and "If You Can't Take the Heat..." is genuinely heartwarming considering how professionally she usually acts towards him and everyone else.
** Any positive moments she has with Gareth are some of the sweetest scenes in the show, due to her caring side coming out around him enough to have become something similar to a ParentalSubstitute for him.
** During the finale of FMTDI, she admits that she's genuinely going to miss the contestants, having grown a connection to them. This carries over into the special, where she only accepts the job relating to the reboot under the belief it'll keep the others safe.
* PluckyGirl: Surprisingly happy and "bright", despite her status as the primary hostess of the show.
* ThePrimaDonna: Will often make a big deal about just about everything, usually while hamming it up and acting overdramatically.
* PunchClockVillain: She doesn't want to be so cruel to the contestants, but unfortunately, it's just part of her job.
* ReallyGetsAround: During her youth, she used to sleep around with a lot of the "bad boys" at her high school.
* RelationshipUpgrade: Goes from being best friends with Logan to them being an OfficialCouple.
* RichInDollarsPoorInSense: She may be rich, but she isn't all that bright either.
* TheRichHaveWhiteStuff: Whenever she goes out to something formal or professional, chances are she'll most definitely wear some kind of white dress.
* ShipperOnDeck: Actively encourages just about every couple that gets together on the show.
* SickeninglySweethearts: With Logan.
* SmallNameBigEgo: She often comes off as incredibly egotistical, which ends up all just being a facade.
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: Among the staff she's the only girl, and has a rather malicious streak towards the contestants, being one of their main torturers.
* SpoiledBrat: She has been spoiled since she was born, and ended up growing up to be incredibly snooty and egotistical because of it.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: The Girly Girl to the Nurse's Tomboy.
* ViolentlyProtectiveGirlfriend: Just try hurting Logan in any way...We dare you.
* VitriolicBestBuds: Her and Logan may occasionally snark at and throw playful insults at one another, but they still have one of the closest friendships of the entire series by far.
* WillTheyOrWontThey: Amber and Logan have plenty of sexual tension between them due to their blatantly obvious crushes on each other and their long history together as friends.

----
* TenMinuteRetirement: After receiving a [[spoiler:TheReasonYouSuckSpeech from Gein, Logan falls into a depression. An episode later though, and he gets right back to work, having at least recovered slightly from the depression thanks to Zetsu giving him a pep talk]].
* AcquiredSituationalNarcissism: Occasionally, he becomes far more arrogant than how he usually acts, usually while he's hosting the show.
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: Similar to Amber, original versions typically portrayed him as a standard, celebrity-obsessed diva with a close connection to Amber. Fuzzy Memories portrays him...Actually, quite differently. In the original version, Logan was the more passive of the duo, however, here, he's one of the most vocally aggressive characters, with a highly critical mind and a seeming lack of empathy for others.
* ADayInTheLimelight: Got a bit more focus development-wise in "Wawanakwa Gone Wild!"
* AgeLift: Went from being around her early 20's to being somewhere in the middling 20's to early 30's range. Though, they've never confirmed an official age.
* AlasPoorVillain: Despite his rather nasty personality around the time it happened, .
* TheAlcoholic: After college, he apparently developed quite the drinking problem, particularly towards wine and margaritas. By the time FMTDI takes place, he has already kicked the addiction, but will occasionally still drink.
* AllGuysWantCheerleaders: Has had a crush on Amber since they were kids, specifically having developed around the time she became a cheerleader for their highschool football team.
* AllLoveIsUnrequited: Logan has a huge crush on his BestFriend, Amber, but she seemingly doesn't notice or reciprocate his feelings. Later Inverted upon the reveal that she does return the feelings, and the two begin a relationship.
* AllMenArePerverts: Has a rather lustful crush on Amber, but also doesn't really seem to mind throwing the occasional glance towards the other girls... And guys. He isn't picky.
* AmbiguouslyBi: Doesn't seem particularly bothered by Kaden flirting with him, and seems to take a surprising amount of pride in the fact that men are attracted to him.
* ArchEnemy: Downplayed, but Logan really doesn't like the amount of attention that Gareth gets from Amber.
* TheAtoner: Ever since his .
* AttentionWhore: He's the secondary host of the series, so naturally he quite enjoys being in the spotlight for extended periods of time.
* BeautyIsNeverTarnished: Inverted; his injuries notably do leave quite the impact on his beauty.
* BefriendingTheEnemy: After spending most of the season acting as one of his torturers, Logan and Zetsu end up bonding over their spoiler:similarly depressing situations. They end up cheering one another up immensely, with Logan being helped out of his depression and Zetsu regaining enough confidence to at least try and win the challenge. These days, the two get along fairly decently.
* BerserkButton: During FMTDI, just imperfections in general seemed to irk Logan quite a bit. Seemingly has disappeared thanks to CharacterDevelopment.
* BestFriend: He's best friends with Amber, who he's known for a good portion of his life and has a deep, personal connection with.
* TheBet: Has a tendency to make bets with Amber over multiple different things, with him usually coming up short in terms of winning them.
* BetaCouple: With Amber, who he's in a relationship with while not being a real contestant on the show.
* TheBigDamnKiss: Amber and Logan exchange a kiss in order to establish the beginning of their relationship.
* BigGuyLittleGuy: The little guy to Tyson's big guy.
* BirdsOfAFeather: With Amber, as they're both fashion divas who love being in the spotlight.
* BluntYes: Usually after being asked a painfully obvious or ridiculously dumb question, his answer will almost always just be a deadpan, "yes". It's basically a staple of the series now to see him do it at least once an episode.
* BornUnlucky: Rarely does anything seem to go well for the guy when he gets directly involved with challenges, with him usually getting injured pretty badly during them. He also usually loses any bets he makes, so his lack of luck continues even outside of challenges.
* BreakTheHaughty: [[spoiler:Gein's TheReasonYouSuckSpeech really broke him...]]
* BrightIsNotGood: He has a bright, light yellow fur. He's also the secondary host of TD and thus one of the cast's primary torturers throughout the series.
* ButtMonkey: Let's see, he's gotten embarrassed multiple times on national television, has gotten first-degree burns from pastries, got a Beedrill stinger stuck in his tongue, rarely if ever wins any bets he gets involved in, , and just in general isn't very well-liked by the cast as a whole. Calling him a ButtMonkey is an understatement.
** IronButtMonkey: Despite all of this though, he just keeps getting right back up, which certainly takes a lot of resilience and endurance...And impatience.
* CampStraight: Incredibly flamboyant and one of the most over dramatic characters in the series, portraying several stereotypically gay qualities. He also has a huge crush on and later dates Amber.
* CannotSpitItOut: Seems to have far more issues just telling Amber how he feels about her than should be naturally possible.
* CharacterDevelopment: At the beginning of the show, Logan was a hopeless romantic with a huge crush on his best friend, but was also a highly critical and incredibly rude prick to just about everyone around him for basically no reason. [[spoiler:Come the end of the show, and he has probably become the kindest of the hosts, having learned from his Jerkass nature enough to see the error in it, deciding he no longer wanted to be so critical of others. Oh, and actually beginning a relationship with Amber means he had grown enough to be in a real relationship]].
* CharacterizationMarchesOn: At the beginning of the series, him and Amber were nearly identical in terms of personality. Overtime though, he was more characterized by his more critical nature, ruder personality, and tendency to get hurt a lot more.
* ChickMagnet: A surprisingly large number of girls find him incredibly attractive, to a point where unlike Amber, he actually has a fansite In-Universe dedicated just to him, and it's run almost entirely by his fangirls.
* CloudcuckoolandersMinder: Serves as the OnlySaneMan to Pluto, pointing out how ridiculous everything he says and does truly is, and occasionally, it even helps stop him from doing anything too dangerous.
* ComedicSociopathy: Due to his job, he'll actively fake gleeful reactions to the torturous challenges on display for the audience. Is Downplayed overtime though due to his CharacterDevelopment.
* DistractedByTheSexy: Several times across FMTDI, he will get distracted from the tasks at hand in favor of admiring Amber's...Qualities.
* TheDragon: Serves as Amber's best friend and co-host.
* DramaQueen: He will often overdramatically describe things to make them seem far more important than they actually are.
* DudeMagnet: During "Not So Happy Campers", Kaden actually attempts to flirt with him, which causes Amber some frustration.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: In the earlier episodes, Amber and Logan were nearly identical in terms of personality.
* EvenTheGuysWantHim: Quite a few men have found themselves attracted to him, which he's perfectly fine with.
* Expy: Obvious inspiration from Chris McLean aside, he has obvious influence from the series .
* TheFashionista: Absolutely loves fashion, and will frequently go about getting the latest and best in terms of clothing.
* FauxAffablyEvil: He may come across as just as friendly as Amber at first, but in all reality all his kindness truly is just for the cameras. .
* GoodFeelsGood: .
* HandsomeLech: During high school and college, he would commonly pick up girls and have one night stands with them, which was happening back when he was still a total Jerkass.
* HatedByAll: Throughout most of FMTDI, none of the contestants are very fond of him, even outright admitting their dislike of him several times.
* HatesTheJobLovesTheLimelight: Between himself and Amber, Logan is far more likely to complain about his job and the many annoyances that come with it. Despite this though, he admits outright to loving how popular it's made him with the masses, to where he'll tolerate it's many issues as long as he continues to grow popular.
* TheHedonist: His primary goal in life is to get as much enjoyment and pleasure out of it as possible. Later on Downplayed though, as he learns he wants to incorporate kindness a bit more into his life than anything else.
* HeelFaceTurn: After [[spoiler:falling into a depression, Logan ultimately has a JerkassRealization, and after receiving something similar to encouragement from Zetsu, Logan decides to try and become a better person]].
* HiddenDepths: He has a degree in psychology, oddly seems to know quite a lot about sports, and doesn't seem to mind eating Tyson's food as much as others.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Has an incredibly large ego that causes him to stand out even alongside Amber, to a point where he seems to hold others to his standard as if the most important thing is that others be as "amazing" as him in every. .
* Jerkass: Logan very much is one of the biggest jerks on the show, constantly criticizing and cruelly insulting just about everyone around him just because they aren't as good as him or aren't Amber.
** JerkassHasAPoint: Usually, despite his harsh way of saying it, he will make a good point on the flaws of a performance that someone puts on. He's a Jerkass and a critical one at that, but he at least does seem to be fair on some level.
** JerkassRealization: [[spoiler:After receiving a rather harsh TheReasonYouSuckSpeech from Gein, he finally realizes just how horrible of a person he's been towards the rest of the cast.]]
** JerkWithAHeartOfGold:
* JustFriends: Amber constantly claims that her and him are just this. That is until they get together.
* KickTheDog: Anytime he's the main critic of something, expect someone to have an emotional breakdown from his scathing, hate-filled criticism. In these moments, he never seems very particularly likable.
** Special mention goes to his TheReasonYouSuckSpeech towards Gareth, who he basically tears into and horribly insults despite knowing just how much Amber cares about him. .
* LackOfEmpathy: He usually doesn't feel very bad or much of any kind of emotion as he watches the contestants basically be tortured by the challenges him and Amber put them through. However, this is [[spoiler:actually Inverted by the end of FMTDI]].
* LargeHam: He plays up everything he does to overdramatic levels of ham, usually while the cameras are rolling.
* LaserGuidedKarma: Throughout all of FMTDI, he is constantly injured and put through rather dark scenarios, which comes across as a nice kind of karma once you realize how much he was taking pleasure in the kid's suffering.
* LawfulNeutral: He may be one of the main torturers for the cast, but that doesn't change the fact he has shown himself to not be as bad as he initially seemed after CharacterDevelopment kicked in, and while he can be lenient on things, he usually strictly enforces the rules of challenges on the contestants.
* LeanAndMean: Very thin, decently tall, and very much so a huge Jerkass towards the rest of the cast.
* LovableSexManiac: Like most people, he very clearly enjoys sexual activities, but he seems to have a lot more of a perverted mind than most of the teenage cast as a whole.
* MasculineGirlFeminineBoy: Downplayed, as while Amber is the more masculine one between herself and Logan, they are both more feminine than anything.
* MoralityPet: Amber is basically the only reason he isn't far worse as a person.
* Narcissist: Incredibly egotistical and thinks far more highly of himself than what anyone else thinks of him due to his status as an obnoxious Jerkass among the cast. [[spoiler:Downplayed considerably after his CharacterDevelopment, as while he still does have a tiny bit of an ego, he certainly has now found a way to place himself on even ground with others]].
* NiceGuy: .
* NoodleIncident: Him and Amber apparently...Did "something" during their college days.
* OddFriendship: Oddly enough, he's actually become decently good friends with Zetsu .
* OfficialCouple: With Amber.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Looks roughly as old as the teenage contestants, but he's actually in his early 20's to mid 30's.
** WordOfGod confirms he was 36 in FMTDI, and 42 after the TimeSkip.+
* OnlySaneMan: Compared to the rest of the staff, he seems to have the tightest grip on reality, and thus is among the first to point out rather ridiculous things before they happen.
* OutOfFocus: Unlike Amber and Tyson, Logan doesn't really affect the story all too much.
* PetTheDog: [[spoiler:Encouraging Zetsu to not give up on the game and that Tempest most definitely still loves him during the events of "Wawanakwa Gone Wild!" is the first notable time that he every treated someone else with both kindness and respect, and was ultimately the first sign of his HeelFaceTurn]].
* PrettyBoy: Very attractive and incredibly thin celebrity, which makes sense considering the series' usage of referencing parts of real life.
* ThePrimaDonna: Will often make a big deal about just about everything, usually while hamming it up and acting overdramatically.
* PunchClockVillain: He doesn't really want to even be on the show since he finds it to be incredibly aggravating having to torture the cast, but unfortunately, it's just part of his job.
* RealMenCook: Is actually a very good chef in his own right, to a point of where he actually cooked any food Tyson was incapable of making, including the pumpkin muffins that the ghosts of the show love so much.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Delivers one to Gareth based around all of his flaws...[[spoiler:And then he receives one himself almost immediately after, and unlike his towards Gareth, it actually seriously affects him to a point where he falls into a depression.
* RelationshipUpgrade: Goes from being best friends with Amber to them being an OfficialCouple.
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: The sensitive guy to Tyson's manly man.
* ShipperOnDeck: He admits to finding Tempest and Zetsu cute together.
* SickeninglySweethearts: With Amber.
* SmallNameBigEgo: Incredibly egotistical and a total narcissist.
* SmarterThanYouLook: Looks like a rather stereotypical PrettyBoy, but surprisingly passed everything during his school days effortlessly, and has a degree in psychology.
* SmugSmiler: He has a tendency to smirk during any challenge that he believes the cast is destined to fail, but he'll also occasionally pull them when he makes a bet with Amber or just knows something good might happen to him.
* StupidSexyFriend: Has problems hiding his rather obvious crush on Amber whenever he's around her, and will admittedly deny his crush when asked about it.
* SugarAndIcePersonality: Can go from being kind to Amber one moment to absolutely ripping into the rest of the cast in what seems like seconds.
* TookALevelInKindness: [[spoiler:After receiving a pep talk from Zetsu, he ultimately becomes far kinder, downright becoming something resembling a NiceGuy]].

TBA
----
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: His original self portrayed in most shows is a Cloudcuckoolander whose obsession with waffles and his BelligerentSexualTension with Colton are basically his only personality traits. On Fuzzy Memories, he's a grumpy chef with a crappy life, who is regularly insulted and beaten down by all of the contestants around him at all times.
* AgeLift: Went from being in his early 20's to at least being in his early 30's.
* AmusingInjuries: A lot of the particularly nasty injuries that happen to him are portrayed almost entirely for laughs, including anything he inflicts on others.
* ArchEnemy: Pancakes! Since...Well, they're not waffles.
** Bari, who prefers pancakes over waffles and actively eats all of the leftovers from breakfast, which really pisses Tyson off.
* ArcVillain: He serves as the BigBad of several specific challenges.
* AuthorAvatar: Acts as one of the co-writer of Fuzzy Memories, Delta Xtreme.
* AxCrazy: He is a very violent individual who clearly seems to take at least a tiny bit of enjoyment from causing annoying players all kinds of pain...Even though usually he's the one who gets hurt far worse.
* BerserkButton:
** Just try to take anything from him, especially his waffles!
** Preferring pancakes over waffles is also a quick way to make him hate your guts.
* TheBigGuy: He's the strongest of the staff members overall, and the one who's the most likely to be forced into doing some heavy lifting for the show.
* BigGuyLittleGuy: The big guy to Logan's little guy.
* BornUnlucky: Nothing ever really seems to go well for Tyson, considering that whenever he is on-screen, he'll most likely be either made an example of something, or is just injured horribly.
* ButtMonkey: Whenever he hosts a challenge, expect to see him get the crap kicked out of him by just about every contestant with very few exceptions. It got bad enough that he had to ask for the hosts to enforce a rule of where contestants couldn't hurt him willingly...They didn't really listen.
** IronButtMonkey: Luckily, he's usually able to recover from injuries quickly enough to make it seem like he's practically immune to getting them.
* CampCook: He was the primary chef of FMTDI, which takes place at a summer camp on an isolated island.
* ChaoticNeutral: Tyson is prone to anger and usually doing whatever he wants as long as it does involve the task in a challenge, which leads to him pulling a lot of creative stunts in order to get at least a slight bit of enjoyment out of whatever uninteresting thing he has been forced into.
* CharacterizationMarchesOn: He was mostly just meant as a JokeCharacter of a sort for the first few episodes of FMTDI, but by "Basic Straining", he began to showcase his more grumpy and pessimistic personality that he's associated with today.
* ChildhoodFriends: Tyson and Colton have known each other all their lives.
** ChildhoodFriendRomance: They began to date in college...It didn't actually end very well, as Tyson learned how toxic of an influence Colton truly was and broke up with him.
* TheComicallySerious: Most of the time he says everything with the same gruff and serious tone, sometimes not realizing just how ridiculous he sounds.
* CosmicPlaything: Nothing ever goes right for Tyson, constantly being abused by everyone around him and getting thrown into the worst possible situations for basically no reason other than to screw him over.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: He may not be all that bright, but he is still one of the most physically strong characters in the series who's more than capable of being quite the intimidating figure.
* CurbStompBattle: Gets his ass handed to him frequently by some of the more dangerous contestants, most frequently by the likes of Isabel and Tempest.
* DarkIsNotEvil: His species is a dark-type, but he's actually not that bad of a guy, if not a bit of a Jerkass at times.
* DemotedToExtra: Due to his promotion to the producer of the series, he is nowhere near as important as he used to be.
* DrillSergeantNasty: Became one during "Basic Straining" in order to match the overall theme of the challenge, which was based around boot camp and war.
* DumbMuscle: He's the most physically imposing of the staff members, and usually acts as their primary intimidation force and muscle for tasks.
* EvilChef: While not truly "evil", he is an asshole and one of the only cooks on the show.
* Expy: A fairly obvious one for Chef. He's also the AuthorAvatar of co-writer, Delta Xtreme.
* FatalFlaw: Usually fails to ever think too far ahead, meaning he'll easily make mistakes due to a lack of making any kind of plan for tasks.
* GroinAttack: Has the worst luck in fights, as during them, at some point, he's going to get kicked in the crouch by a girl, and then presumably have it grinded by their foot too...Ouch.
* HotBlooded: Is quick to rush into things without thinking about what could happen first.
* IneffectualSympatheticVillain: The guy is such a colossal and continuous ButtMonkey, that sometimes you can't help but root for the guy during his antagonistic challenges just so you don't have to see him fail...Again.
* IWasQuiteALooker: When he was younger, he was actually quite attractive.
* Jerkass: Openly rude to all of the contestants and actively takes on an antagonistic role during challenges.
* TheJuggernaut: Incredibly strong, runs into things without thinking much about them, used primarily for brute strength...Yep, he's a juggernaut alright.
* KickTheDog: The fact he seems to take genuine enjoyment from challenges where he's the BigBad usually showcase a far more sadistic and intimidating side to him.
* LesserOfTwoEvils: Between himself and the hosts, he is the less likely to act as the contestant's torturer that episode.
* LethalChef: Nothing he cooks is very good in any way, and some of his recipes are downright dangerous.
* MadeOfIron: The guy can take a lot of damage to say the least, to a point where one time he was basically blown up...And was able to get right up and climb out of the rumble, before running away while screaming.
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: The guy is the ButtMonkey of the Fuzzy Memories non-contestants, but don't let that confuse you. He's still more than capable of kicking your ass regardless.
* OddFriendship: Gets along surprisingly well with Chad.
* PerpetualFrowner: Rarely seen without his signature scowl.
* PetTheDog: Him actually expressing genuine thanks for Chad's compliment, stating in a confessional he isn't used to getting compliments. He goes on to say he'll even consider giving him extra food.
* PsychoExBoyfriend: Actually has to deal with one in the form of Colton.
* PunchClockVillain: Doesn't actually care too much about the kids, and he probably wouldn't do anything harmful to them if it weren't for the fact he was getting paid to basically torture them.
* RealMenCook: Granted, he isn't that good of a cook, but he is still the camp chef of FMTDI, and he's surprisingly muscular as well.
* RealMenWearPink: Looks pretty tough...Too bad he's also wearing chef's clothing while cookies waffles.
* ScreamsLikeALittleGirl: Has a distinct, rather loud and incredibly high pitched scream.
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: The manly man to Logan's sensitive guy.
* SuperToughness: The guy can take an irregularly high amount of damage, even for his species, which borders on nearly being supernatural in surprise.
* SupremeChef: Whenever he cooks anything other than waffles, he's actually not half bad of a chef. Too bad that's pretty rare.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Waffles, to a point where they're all he cooks.
* UnskilledButStrong: He isn't that good at much of anything, and yet he's one of the most muscular characters in the series.
* WalkingSpoiler: Considering just how many tropes had to be blocked due to spoilers, it really isn't any surprise that a lot of what happens to him is meant to be a surprise for the audience.
* YoungerThanTheyLook: He looks like he's in his 40's or 50's, when actually he's not too much older than Amber and Logan.

A group of three interns who have known each other all their lives, and who basically never do anything except for slack off and ignore the world around them.
----
* AntiHero: The three could not give less of a shit about what's happening around them at all times.
* BeautyBrainsAndBrawn: London's considered the most handsome of the three, Berlin's undeniably the smartest, and Paris' the largest and strongest.
* BestFriend: All three serve as this to one another, being each other's closest(and only) friends.
* TheBigGuy: Paris is the toughest of the three, though his low intelligence makes it hard to take him very seriously.
* BigThinShortTrio: Paris' the big, London's the thin, Berlin's the short.
* BitCharacter: They have essentially no real purpose within the main plot of the story, and thus do very little outside of occasionally acting as filler.
* BookDumb: Paris' not particularly bright to say the least.
* BrilliantButLazy: Berlin's actually far smarter than his two comrades, and yet is content with just hanging out with them, getting high, and not doing much of anything.
* ChildhoodFriends: They've known each other since pre-school! That means they have by far the longest lasting friendship of anybody in the franchise, including Amber and Logan!
* ClassicalAntihero: They're lazy, uncaring losers who couldn't care less about anyone else, but they're not really bad people, and are very close to one another, to a point where it's implied they've known each other since as young as pre-school, so it's clear they've been doing something right.
* CloudCuckooLander: London can say some...Pretty weird stuff.
* DeadpanSnarker: Berlin is particularly snappy towards the other two, usually responding to what they say with rather witty remarks.
* TheDitz: While Berlin's actually decently smart and London has his moments of insightfulness, Paris is just a complete idiot.
* DumbMuscle: Essentially Paris' entire point to being there.
* EruditeStoner: While high, London will occasionally speak off words of wisdom.
* FishOutOfWater: Unlike every other character in the entire franchise, these three are completely content with their rather lackluster and lazy lifestyles, not really wanting to change or get out of their current situations. In fact, they seem to be completely fine with just joking around with each other on the sidelines as things go crazy all around them.
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Their co-workers hate them, the hosts ignore them, and the contestants don't know they even exist.
* TheHeart: London helps keep the other two together.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: The three practically do everything together.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: All three of them just don't give a crap about anyone but themselves. Doesn't change the fact that they truly love one another as brothers practically.
* LazyBum: All three are content with the fact they're essentially the worst employees ever.
* MellowFellow: London especially, but all three are pretty chill for the most part.
* MrViceGuy: They're essentially the living embodiment of Sloth.
* NiceMeanAndInBetween: London's the nice, Berlin's the mean, and Paris' the in-between.
* NonActionGuy: In fact, they seem to put more effort into avoiding effort than they actually would doing the tasks at hand.
* OnlySaneMan: Considering the constant madness going on around them, a solid debate could be made that they're the sanest, most normal people in the series.
** Among the three though, Berlin is clearly the most stable.
* ThePigpen: The three are described as being pretty gross to be around.
* PluckyComicRelief: Their main role seems to just be providing a sense of humor inbetween more tense scenes.
* TheSlacker: None of them are particularly interested in their jobs to any degree.
* TheSmartGuy: It's pretty clear Berlin essentially runs laps around the other two in terms of intellect.
* TheStoner: All three of them are known for occasionally hot-boxing the recording booths and other places.
* SurferDude: London always talks as if he is one.
* TrueCompanions: To a point where they've stood by each other and continue to do since they were children.
* VerbalTic: All three share a similar one; "dude".
* WeaselCoWorker: They never get anything done, and are thus pretty despised by their co-workers.

* ZeroPercentApprovalRating: Absolutely nobody who goes to his bar actually likes him in any way, which you can't really blame them for considering he actively rips them off and blackmails them into giving him more money.
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: Unlike past versions of the character, this one is actually far less sadistic. Besides that though, he's the same snarky, psychopathic jerk who actively cons people out of money for his own benefit.
* TheBully: Aggressively and cruelly insults and talks down to all of his customers while blackmailing them into giving him more money.
* GrumpyOldMan: WordOfGod confirmed him as being over five-hundred years old, and he rarely is seen without his signature scowl.
* Jerkass: Is incredibly rude and cruel to his customers for little to no reason.
* NoNameGiven: His real name has never been revealed.

* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: After "Hide and Be Sneaky", she basically completely disappears from the entire series.
* TheCynic: Has a pretty notably low opinion of the world and everyone in it.
* DeadpanSnarker: Everything she says is just layered in snark and sarcastic replies, usually mixed in with a nonchalant expression and a complete lack of care in whatever is going on.
* DrJerk: She's a nurse, and also incredibly rude to just about everyone.
* HatesEveryoneEqually: Doesn't matter who you are or what you deal with, she still hates being around you and could care less about speaking to you in any way.
* Jerkass: Has shown no signs of actual kindness throughout the series, instead just acting sarcastic and rude.
** JerkassHasAPoint: Usually though, whatever she's saying does at least make sense, and she does make good points at times as well.
* LackOfEmpathy: Doesn't matter if you're suffering from first-degree burns, or if you have a major concussion, because either way, she doesn't care.
* TheMedic: Considering her role as the sole medical supervisor on the island, it's pretty obvious she's in charge of healing and helping those who are injured.
* MorallyAmbiguousDoctorate: It really isn't that obvious just where she falls in terms of morality or alignment.
* NoNameGiven: It was never revealed what her name is, and nobody really refers to her as the nurse either.
* OutOfFocus: Never really was in the spotlight in any episode she appeared in, and had minimal to no involvement in the plot.
* PetTheDog: She actually [[spoiler:compliments Juvia after she brings an injured Gareth to her, saying she might have saved him]]. To date, this is the only piece of kindness she's displayed.
* TheStoic: Rarely if ever shows any kind of emotion, instead displaying a permanently neutral look on her face.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: The Tomboy to Amber's Girly Girl.
* TrueNeutral: She doesn't care too much about anything related to morality or who did what. To her, all that matters is that she gets paid and that she heals whoever comes to her. Otherwise, she could care less.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: We're never really told what happened to her or what she did after "Hide and Be Sneaky".

----
* AbhorrentAdmirer: He's in love with Tyson, but he takes the crush way too far. He focuses almost all of his time on him and his personal life, he's dedicated his mind to the lie that they ever have a chance of getting back together, he makes death threats to Tyson's family, and is overall just a very unpleasant person.
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: Dear lord, he has changed a lot from his original version. His original version was just as much of a Jerkass, but he also bore a far stronger resemblance character-wise to the likes of Chris McLean in terms of personality. Here...He's a Yandere with a creepy crush on Tyson with a potentially AxCrazy mindset.
* AdaptationalComicRelief: A lot of his scenes are played for laughs during Fuzzy Memories, while basically none of them were during his original appearances in other stories.
* AdaptationalVillainy: Went from being a sociopathic gameshow host to being a sociopathic Yandere.
* AloofAlly: He is indeed working for the hosts, but that doesn't mean he's actually going to treat them with any notable respect.
* AxCrazy: He's a very violent individual he seems to see no problem in the fact he's basically hunting down and badly hurting several innocent children.
* BestFriend: He used to be Tyson's...That clearly didn't last.
* BitchInSheepsClothing: His appearance is actually a lot derpier and more passive looking than what his horrible personality would let you think.
* BlackComedy: While he is played up mostly for comic relief, most of the jokes made with him are suitably very dark.
* ButtMonkey: Nothing goes right for him during his temporary appearance in the game, as he got injured, harassed, rejected by his crush, was seen as totally psychotic, and most likely didn't get paid in the end either.
* ChaoticEvil: Only cares about how things will affect him, being incredibly greedy and rude to just about everyone in the process as well. He's also a sociopath who will hurt anyone to reach his goals, including inducing concussions, hurting others, and screwing with their heads.
* Cloudcuckoolander: The fact he genuinely thinks that Tyson would ever consider dating him despite his psychotic personality and complete lack of social awareness, mixed in with his status as a HateSink, is beyond anyone.
* ControlFreak: He apparently kept Tyson in the relationship as the lesser of the two, controlling just about everything they did together and never allowing themselves to have time away from each other due to his own fear he'd talk to someone else.
* CurbStompBattle: Gets his ass handed to him several times during his single appearance throughout the series.
* DepravedHomosexual: WordOfGod has confirmed him as being exclusively homosexual, and he's also one of the most heinous and unlikable characters in the series.
* EntitledToHaveYou: Seems to believe that the only person allowed to have Tyson is himself.
* FaceHeelTurn: Apparently used to be a pretty decent guy, but beginning a relationship with Tyson began to lead him down a very dark path due to his own jealousy and controlling attitude.
* FatIdiot: Notably overweight, and also not very bright either.
* GreenEyedMonster: Is considerably jealous of Tyson's girlfriend during "Hide and Be Sneaky", and Tyson goes on to confirm later on in the episode that Colton has made several threats towards her for being with him.
* HateSink: Lacks anything resembling a sympathetic quality, instead being almost entirely played up as a psychopath during his first and only appearance.
* ItMeantSomethingToMe: While Tyson was actually able to get over the two's relationship pretty quickly, it seemed to have affected Colton a lot more.
* Jerkass: He's a stubborn, antagonistic, psychopathic jackass who is trying to convince his ex-boyfriend to re-enter a relationship with him despite his protective personality making it impossible to have a remotely healthy one.
* KickTheDog: His blatant insults towards Tempest and how he enjoyed kicking the crap out of her while hunting down her boyfriend is a pretty scummy thing to do.
* LoveMakesYouCrazy: He gradually became a lot more unstable and potentially insane due to his relationship with Tyson.
** LoveMakesYouEvil: The two breaking up caused Colton to become far more dangerous and insane, as he attempts over and over to convince Tyson to get back together with him.
* MadeOfIron: Can take a lot of punishment for a guy who keeps getting the crap kicked out of him.
* MinorMajorCharacter: He's made exactly one on-screen appearance on the entire show, but during it, he ended up being the person who [[spoiler:brought Gein into the series after causing Gareth a bad concussion]].
* NeverMyFault: Refuses to accept the fact that it was his own creepy personality and stalker-like tendencies that caused Tyson to break up with him.
* OneTrueLove: Has a belief that the only person he'll ever be able to love is Tyson. Considering that Tyson wants absolutely nothing to do with him anymore, he might be out of luck then.
* PutOnABus: WordOfGod confirmed he will never appear again.
* Sadist: Took a bizarre amount of pleasure in bragging about how he "supposedly" destroyed Tempest during a fight.
* TheSociopath: Feels absolutely no shame or guilt after all is said in done, despite having hurt several players, to a point of having even given Gareth a concussion.
* StalkerShrine: WordOfGod has confirmed that he has indeed created one for Tyson.
* StalkerWithACrush: Tyson mentions several times that Colton stalks him at home, and the two were in a very clearly unhealthy relationship with each other.
* TooDumbToLive: It was not a good idea to go around bragging about taking down Tempest...In front of her boyfriend. To say things didn't go well for him after would be an understatement.
* TheUnfettered: Feels no shame and sees no moral dilema in anything that he does, clearly coming across as a complete and utter sociopath in the process.
* UnskilledButStrong: He's...Not particularly good at much of anything, but he seems to at least be strong enough to decently injure Tempest with one hit.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Was unintentionally the cause of [[spoiler:Gein resurfacing within Gareth's mind]].
* VillainousCrush: Has a downright obsessive crush on Tyson.
* WalkingSpoiler: Considering the only notable thing he did throughout his entire appearance was [[spoiler:causing Gein to be brought into a series]], it's really hard not mentioning it to others if you discuss his character.
* WaterGunsAndBalloons: Throughout all of "Hide and Be Sneaky", he uses the water gun he was given as his primary weapon to take down the contestants.
* Yandere
