Ace is a versatile melee hero capable of tanking, initiating, or dealing high burst damage. His ability to jump over terrain allows him to approach unexpectedly and dish out the pain. Plus, he's the baddest dude on Tempra.
----
* HeroicBuild: His arms are bigger than his head! Boasted about in his lines from leveling up his ultimate where he says stereotypical weight-training boasts.
* LeeroyJenkins: One of his skills can be used to this, when he leaps and damages everyone in landing point, even moreso that one of his possible yells is "YOLO!"
* MeaningfulName: He sure as hell thinks he's an ace too. His title is about as appropriate.
* SmallNameBigEgo: He might have managed to get into the trials of Strife, but his ego still greatly outstrips what that would justify. Must've taken tips from Draven.
* SpinAttack: Spincicle, the token 'Spin To Win' skill of the game. Fewer spins, but low cooldown allows Ace to spam it, as long as he has enough mana.
* TopHeavyGuy: He seems to have skipped leg day.

Bandit.0 is a snarky droid who specializes... in a bit of everything. You could consider him a jack of all trades, as he's got versatility in spades. He may not be the best at any one thing, but he can do it all, and he always does it in style.
----
* CavalierCompetitor: Treats the Trials of Strife as a tournament that he's certain to win.
* DeathDealer: But of course! Courtesy of his Searing Cards ability.
* TheGambler: Naturally. His basic attack is throwing dice at people, Token Toss throws a poker chip, Searing Cards throws bunch of playing cards, Gambler's Fortune heals and speed you up with a golden beam and money and, well, he's a sentient robotic slots machine.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: He kills you with dice, poker chips and playing cards, and heals you with money.
* InstantAIJustAddWater: Bandito came to life after one too many hacking attempts by cheating patrons.
* MoneyMultiplier: Hitting a hero with Token Toss grants him some free gold.
* RandomNumberGod: A clear example, though not quite as severely as the notorious Ogre Magi. His ultimate passively gives him a chance of immediately refunding the cooldown and mana cost of his other abilities on their use. He can also activate it to guarantee a refund, as well as doubling the passive chance of it for 8 seconds, but after that 8 seconds, he loses the passive entirely until his ultimate cools down.
* ShoutOut: His splash art, wherein he's playing poker with robotic dogs.

Bo is an aggressive melee hero who excels at initiation. His skills provide the mobility and crowd control necessary to dictate both small skirmishes and large team fights.
----
* NinjaPirateRobotZombie: Minotaur Shaolin Monk!
* PrecisionGuidedBoomerang: His staff tossed out of Bo Throw will always return to him, even through walls.
* ProudScholarRaceGuy: His race has forsworn anger and savagery, and are peaceful meditators. Bo is a now-rare warrior example out of them.

Buford specializes in utilizing his variety of bayou bugs to slow, burn and steal life from his enemies. With the ability to change his fighting style after each spellcast, Buford can handle any situation that may arise.

Caprice is an extremely mobile hero who focuses on getting in and out of combat. She brings excellent damage potential with a combination of her attacks and skills.
----
* AnvilOnHead: Except with an anchor. The indicator it's falling onto an area is, of course, an X marking the spot.
* BoozeFlamethrower: Of sorts - instead, her Fire Lager ability has her toss a barrel of liquor forward with a trail leaking behind it while tossing a bomb up into the air that will ignite the alcohol for more damage after it hits the ground.
* EveryoneLovesBlondes: It's probably not a coincidence Strife's MsFanservice is a blue-eyed blonde.
* TheGunslinger: Downplayed example, with her ultimate (which comes with two charges) having her shoot a single shot from her pistol.
* HandCannon: Her pistol resembles a flintlock pistol, if a usual flintlock pistol's barrel was twice as long and the opening flared out like a blunderbuss.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: Her usual weapons are not the large flintlock HandCannon she holds, it's incendiary bombs on her belt that she tosses at enemies. She shoot her HandCannon solely from her ultimate - possibly in a bit of a GameplayAndStoryIntegration of flintlock firearms being slow to reload and so her use of one was intended to be fairly limited.
* InnocentBlueEyes: No. She's a pirate! While the harsher parts of piracy aren't really applied to her, she nonetheless started her career as a pirate by sinking her father's naval fleet.
* MsFanservice: She's quite curvaceous, which is easily seen by her clothing being tight on her. Games loading up show an icon which include a shot of looking to the right and her butt facing to viewers.
* PirateGirl
* PiratesWhoDontDoAnything: She's a bit busy fighting in the Trials of Strife to do her day job, especially after she sunk her ship and marooned her crew to start doing the former. She definitely did her day job quite a lot beforehand though.
* TalkLikeAPirate: Well, yeah.
* ThrowDownTheBomblet: Her basic attacks.

Carter offers extremely long range magic damage, and is perfect for the player who likes to bombard from afar. Often, he can give your team the edge before fully engaging in a fight.
----
* ExtremeOmnivore: The stuff of Carter's Yak Attack hitting the ground aside from the green vomit also includes a few cans...
* Combos: All of his abilities do more damage when the projectile passes through his Ring of Fire.
* IncendiaryExponent: You can tell his abilities went through his Ring of Fire and got pumped up because then they'll be glittering with blue fire.
* LongRangeFighter: The definite example in the game, given Carter's Rocket Barrage is a basic ability that can hit you while you're attacking his lane's first tower while he's hiding behind the second one and his Imminent Boom ultimate goes pretty far and then chases you. Naturally, the trio's weakness is a lack of mobility and survivability.
* NoNameGiven: One of them is named Carter. They're not sure which one. No one's sure what the others would be then, as well.
* StuffBlowingUp: All of Carter's abilities save for Yak Attack.
* ZombiePukeAttack: Yak Attack has the big maybe-Carter vomit over a long distance to damage and slow enemies in an area.

----
* HandicappedBadass: Lacking a left arm, not lacking in asskicking potential.

Gokong is a trickster specializing in attack damage. His ability to be everywhere and nowhere on a battlefield makes him a lethal yet evasive threat.

* ShoutOut: Based on Sun Wukong, much like how other MOBA follow suit. His name is derived from one of the alternate spelling of Wukong: Sun Gokong.

%%* FlamingHair
* IncendiaryExponent: Her absolutely-everything. Even her hair.

----
* Acrofatic: While he resembles an overweight cat that walks on just two legs, he's still one of the faster-moving ranged characters in the game.
* AnnouncerChatter: Moxie himself is a cat, and so can't speak, therefore for many of "his" lines, he instead has a male LargeHam announcer, different from the ubiquitous female announcer, speaking of him as if he were the hero of a cartoon show.

* DidntThinkThisThrough: Moxie joined the Trials of Strife to get away from his people's grand expectations of his prophetic heritage...the Trials of Strife is training for an oncoming terrible invasion. It seems likely Moxie's people will end up be quite satisfied with his choices.
