* LetsYouAndHimFight: When Manipulens realizes that there's friction between Kung-Fu Girl and Sword Hero due to the latter's loner tendencies, he makes posters announcing a fight between them, making them think that they are challenging each other to a duel, making them fight until Min exposes his ruse.

* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Downplayed as Tee Yang is more of a GirlyGirlWithATomboyStreak but there's no denying that she's more of an ActionGirl (with her EstablishingCharacterMoment showing her dreaming of confronting and fighting a monster and one of her methods of relaxation in episode 11 involving skateboarding while being pulled by a neighborhood dog) in comparison to her friend Min who's more of an ActionSurvivor and mainly relies on her wits when in dangerous situations.
* TookALevelInKindness: [[spoiler:Hao Xiue develops this through and after his corruption by Manipulens, realizes the importance of teamwork and friendship and begins working with Tee Yang/Kung-Fu Girl.]]
* TransformationSequence: Tee Yang goes through this with Kung-Fu Wa as her main source of power, this becomes normal from episode 2, though the call-out to begin this doesn't happen until the next episode. This happens in nearly every episode onwards with some exceptions.
* WalkOnWater: Kung Fu Girl has the ability to do this during episodes when the location of that episode's story is mostly set at sea.
* WeaksauceWeakness: In the Fishing episode, it's revealed that Tee Yang cannot transform if Kung-Fu Sock Master is wet.
