Fantadroms is a Soviet Latvian cartoon series that was created by Studio Dauka and aired for 13 episodes from 1985 to 1995similar to Animation/NuPogodi, episodes of Fantadroms were produced and aired much more sporadically than other cartoons, resulting in months' worth of time between episode airdates.

The show was about a yellow shapeshifting cat robot named Indrikis, who was created by a space station to check on an Earth-like planet and stop any conflicts that might be going on between the planet's inhabitants. His friends are Receklite, a purple female shapeshifting cat robot, and an unnamed female rat. There is also an assortment of recurring supporting characters, such as a light blue boar and a floating pink blob, among others.

!!Fantatropes:
* ActionGirlfriend: Receklite. Although not officially a first responder, she often shows up to help Indrikis if/when he gets in way over his head.
* BookEnds: Every episode begins and ends with a shot of Indrikis sneezing, for whatever reason.
* ConstantlyLactatingCow: One appears in episode 5, hooked to a milking device so it can sell its milk to some customers. It's still selling milk by episode 7. Normally a cow would only produce milk after pregnancy to feed its babies, but this one doesn't have any babies, as far as we can see.
* ExtendableArms: The elephant in episode 9 extends his trunk to grab the bottle from Indrikis after realizing he's stolen it.
* GrievousHarmWithABody: In episode 10, the boar uses Indrikis, who has shapeshifted into a pencil, to attempt to attack the worm that has made a home in the boar's plant. Indrikis transforms into his normal form to stop the boar, clearly in pain from the assault.
* InstrumentalThemeTune: Keeping with the show's lack of spoken dialogue, the theme song is a synth tune with no vocals.
* LegFocus: Utilized in a joke in one of the episodes, where Receklite cuts part of her "skirt" off so that it doesn't get in the way as she rides a bicycle. When she does this, the pink blob drools at the sight of her visible legs.
* LoveTriangle: The rat is implied to be in love with Indrikis, but he does not return her affections and would rather be with Receklite, who appears to return his affections. The rat even gets angry at Receklite whenever she catches her with Indrikis!
* MimeAndMusicOnlyCartoon: The show was made to be able to cross language barriers without dubbing it into other languages being a problem, and as such all action in the show unfolds through pantomime.
* FaintInShock: The rat in episode 9, after seeing an elephant with the bottle she had intended to give to her baby relative.
* NoFocusOnHumans: Only two human characters in the series, and there are episodes where they don't appear at all.
* NoNameGiven: The rat has not been given a name, nor have any of the recurring background characters.
* OneWordTitle: Fantadroms.
* SecondEpisodeIntroduction: The pink blob is introduced in the second episode, "Sol".
* TheSpeechless: All characters merely make sounds such as gasps, laughs, etc. in place of actual talking.
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: Indrikis and Receklite have this power. One of Indrikis' most common forms is a pencil with the words "INDRIKIS VIII" on it.
