Not sure of the comic number but there is a suggestion in Sequential Art that Art/Pip may have accidentally killed someone in collage and buried the body.
The dialogue goes some like this
"Man I had such a blast in collage (turning to Art) was it the same for you?"
(flash back, Art and pip at grave side)
Pip "Do you think anyone will find her here?"
Art "Oh God Oh God Oh God Oh God"
(back to present)
Art "Yeah pretty much the same"
