Xander77: Well, this trope page certainly seems to be the work of an... "intelligent marine" or some similar oxish moron. Could we delete it and start over from scrap?
Nornagest: Most of the page looks fairly accurate to me, but there's definitely some unnecessary partisanship going on. I'd say the first paragraph needs rewriting and we need to find a word other than "renowned" to describe US military vehicles; we can keep the rest.
