Dr Dedman: I wouldn't call it a exageration of southern life. It's a look at working-class (and below) small town folk. Trust me, most of the people portrayed can be found everywhere in the USA, if you know where to look.
Phartman: As a Southerner now living in New England, let me just say holy shit yes! I've seen more broken-down cars in front yards up here than I ever did back home.
