Shire Nomad: Would cases where there's one and only one fantastic element count? For instance, Bleach (our world, but with spirits) or Death Note (our world, but with death gods and mystic notebooks). The description seems to be the more extreme "we've got all sorts of magic and supernatural creatures in an otherwise modern setting."

Sci Vo: There's Magical Realism, with minor quirks (like tchotchkes telling the heroine what to do in Wonderfalls) that are treated as part of the world, same as the weather; then there's Fantastic Comedy, which is a Sitcom with a blatant fantasy element, like Jeannie the genie in I Dream of Jeannie, but still predominately normal; then there's Mundane Fantastic, very common in anime and webcomics, which blends a whole bunch of fantastic elements into a world that is still otherwise considered mundane. Finally, there's Urban Fantasy; I'm not sure exactly where the line is between that and Mundane Fantastic, but (for example) I'd put the Buffyverse under Urban Fantasy because it's bursting at the seams with fantasy elements that are the focus of the setting, although most of its inhabitants are unaware of the fact.

Etrangere: I've removed the Ranma exemple, because it's more of a Mundane Fantastic case.

Daibhid C: If China Meiville's New Crobuzon series counts, what about the Discworld "City Watch" subseries? A secondary world setting, but very, very "urban".

Solitair: Would The World Ends With You count as an example?

Wyvernil: Does a setting have to be set on Earth explicitly to count as Urban Fantasy, or can a fantastic world which isn't a Medieval European Fantasy and employs a more advanced civilization count?

Pteryx: Chopped this rather Natter-like comment from the main entry:

Well, once the horror is commonplace, it is not horror anymore, it is suburban. Dracula turns into the The Masquerade if you please.

Lord Seth: Is Twilight an example?
