Andyzero: This actually reminds me of a different trope I'm thinking of making. Impossible Politeness. There's a kind of humor where it is impossible for some people to lose their temper, or do the obvious thing and kick the person out of their home/restaurant. The humor seems to lie in the absurb situations that go beyond endurance, such as "oops I killed you cat and set fire to your drapes." Nobody ever calls the police except that one Malcolm in the Middle episode where the police told them they HAD to allow the evil grandmother to stay. Even then there were still options but since it wasn't "funny" nobody thought of doing it. If someone does lose their temper, it's the last minute of the show.
