Still Waters: I pulled the Negima example, as Yue is much more Deadpan Loli than The Daria. She doesn't disapprove of her age peers, for a start.
- Yue Ayase of Mahou Sensei Negima is a sympathetic version with much less snark.

Caswin: I haven't seen much of Daria (albeit enough to want to see more), but the opening paragraph sounds... extreme. Or is Daria a relatively mild example of The Daria?
Some Sort Of Troper: Trope renamed to The Snark Knight and defined tighter to focus on how he holds himself to the same high standards. Mocking himself just as he does other people. Remove all references to being female, Beautiful All Along Plots, or romantic entanglements. Essentially The Daria will be the Deadpan Snarker Non Action Guy version of the Knight In Sour Armor.
