Gus: I moved the following out of the description:

The Blind Teacher begins the story somewhat bitter and alienated from humanity, but is by some vague means restored to the mainstream by his experience.

At the conclusion, when no matter how strenuously the hero has chased the villain, his sight is fully restored, he will see his helper for the first time. If the person is of the opposite sex, he or she will inevitably be described handsome/beautiful, which will never be an exaggeration. If, however, there has been any hint of romantic attraction between blinded hero and sighted nurse, she will vanish into the depths of the hospital without ever being seen.

The hero will naturally have learned very important lessons about disability and understanding, and make a significant-sounding pronouncement about "vision."

Looney Toons: <snort> There's one for Meaningful Name.

Mag Flare: Didn't know about this one when I started the Single-Episode Handicap article. Could we merge the two?
