Is some LazyTown eps airing in the UK first really an example? It's been the victim of Network Screwing in the US and is only 'American' in the sense that LazyTown Entertainment got their initial backing for television from Nickelodeon. The episodes in production now were commissioned by the BBC, and the UK is clearly LT's most important market at the moment. Mind you it did air in a number of English-speaking markets before it's actual country of origin, Iceland, but that was presumably because it was filmed in English and had to be dubbed for its Icelandic release.
