"Oh. I see. Well then, tell the Chancellor — informally — that I'm sorry he can't see me then. Let's go, Lynn." We turned and started to walk out.
Ms. Toms called out, "Mr. Green, you can't be serious!"
We turned around, and I glared at her. "Care to watch me drive off into the sunset?" Sunset was in the wrong direction to the way I would have left, but I liked the dramatic effect.
