Working Title: Title=Refrain: From YKTTW

Devil's Advocate: DaVinci's Notebook's "Title of the Song" is not an example of this trope, lampshaded or otherwise. Removing it.

Half a sec: if a song is labeled "Title (Refrain)" on the album, that means it is this trope, right? Why all the "Actually..." lines? - Robin Zimm

Inkblot: Should we just dump all of these examples into Troper Tales?

Anonymous Mc Cartneyfan: If we do, then what are we going to have in the trope itself? We traditionally are laxer with music tropes. I'll try to edit, though.

Duckay: The full title of that famous song by The Offspring is "Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)". I've heard people, though, who think that the part in brackets isn't "really" part of the title because of the number of songs that have the commonly known refrain in brackets after the full title. Is that a version of this trope, or is that something else entirely?
