Vampire Buddha: Isn't this Bribing Your Way to Victory?

Bisected8 This article's a bit short. Maybe some actual examples should be added (both of games that allow it and games that don't)?

Ununnilium:

  • Magic Online has a substantial real-money trade in virtual cards and event tickets. Wizards of the Coast allows it, but reminds players that any transactions other than those that use the in-game store and the in-game trading system are all done at your own risk.

This isn't really the same thing. It's far closer to Bribing Your Way to Victory than anything.

—- Azaram: Needs to be a distinction made between 'not allowed by license agreement / terms of service' and 'illegal'... Selling gold is not illegal (as in you can be arrested and put in jail, except in China now), it's against the terms of service. Your account can be closed, but they can't sue you.
