Abu Dhabi: I read an article, in a Polish paper, that prisoners tend to gain weight - because while the diet is poor, they don't exercise. It's certainly plausible that, given a bit of extra food (from family, traded for smokes, stolen from those who don't exercise at all, etc.) and training, someone might bulk up after a few years.
