Ununnilium: Would the video-caused corpses in The Ring and variations count?

Amethyst: Not sure. I didn't see that movie. (Can't you tell what a pussy I am? Me no like scary movies....)

Paul A: There's a cliff-hanger in the old-series Doctor Who story "The Ark in Space", where one of the Doctor's companions is looking for a first-aid kit, and he(*) opens a cupboard, and a horrible giant insect creature lurches out -- and at the beginning of the next episode it turns out to be only the corpse of a horrible giant insect creature, which falls on him. Would that count?

(*) This was during the period where the Doctor's female companion was all feminist and girl-power-y, so the male companion got stuck with all the traditional female jeopardy situations.

Amethyst: Hmmm. It might qualify...nothing in the rules said the corpse had to be human, I guess...

Big T: I'm not removing it, but I want to draw your attention to the following in the article. Perhaps it's too funny to remove?

  • If you are a Starfleet officer and a Vulcan to boot, you may have just enough self-control to merely gasp when encountering a Peek-a-Boo Corpse, as Saavik did in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan [Correction - this was Mc Coy that found the corpse hanging from the ceiling of the Regulus 1 Space Station].
