Out Of Order launched as Out Of Order Discussion: From YKTTW

Working Title: Out Of Order: From YKTTW

Lord Seth: My first trope! I feel so proud...feel free to add any examples you can think of or to add it into any new categories.

Lunaryn: I don't know if this concept should be added in here or belongs in another trope, but Out of Order is commonly used as an excuse for airing predominantly the most popular episodes of a series, airing less popular episodes rarely if at all. This tends to create a problem for fans of a show whose interest lasts long enough, since no matter how often or how intermittently you watch, you're only seeing the same few episodes, and an episode, however good, is less enjoyable when you've seen it 15 times as often as others.

Yoshi348: That would be another trope, albeit related. As written this is definitely about mixing up first-run episodes, while if I understand you right, you're talking about syndication.

Lord Seth: I randomly organized the paragraphs because I thought it would be a great gag considering the article.

nayhem: So who unshuffled them? Would've liked to have seen the self-demonstrating version. Maybe Just for Fun version?

Bufuman: Uh, do we REALLY have to explain the joke? I would think that it would be self-explanatory. Seriously, one switch back and hopefully the clown who unshuffled them in the first place will take the hint.

Boke Kaeru: Is there any particular reason that this is done? I mean, why would execs want to screw their own shows over by airing a chronological story out of order?
