From YKTTW

Nezumi: Should I stick the way the Grand Theft Auto series sets up the world such that the criminals the series revolves around are sane and reasonable compared to the utterly bizarre "normal" people? As none of them seem to notice or act on it, it's not truly the same thing, but it's definitely related. I'd spin it off into its own trope, but I'm not sure there's enough examples.

Gambrinus: Nezumi - I think that's more Dying Like Animals, especially the Bats subcategory

Rob Mandeville: A related trope—the case where the protagonist is the only one who sees something, and thus is assumed to be hallucinating. The difference is that everybody else is sane. Two examples: Shatner's character from the Twilight Zone episode "Terror at 20,000 feet" ("there's something on the wing...") and Sarah Conner from the beginning of Terminator 2. If it doesn't have a name, I suggest "Twilight Zone Syndrome"

BrightBlueInk: Um...I'm not sure about this example: "Real Life: Pick any American secular humanist." It almost sounds like it's saying "only people that follow this line of thought are the sane people in this country!" Am I being overly sensitive, or does this not belong here?

Dalantia: Heh. Pulled it. Too easy to get into a flame/edit war over.

Cookingwithbacon: The page history for this one is great- by the looks of it, the 'real life' section has been thoroughly abused. Props to Ninjacrat: "good grief!" indeed.
