Nautilus PQ: Taking out this: "Amusingly, the Question's successor goes around without the mask half the time even when fighting ... which, of course, has nothing to do with her being a beautiful woman." because this is only true before she actually became the Question's successor.

Looney Toons: I am so tempted to put a quote at the top of this that riffs on the classic Harlan Ellison story "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream". How does "I have no mouth and I must wisecrack" sound? Or "I have no mouth and I must mime"?

RedBeardSean: I'm reminded of a line in the back of the Rolemaster RPG supplement, Creature Catalogue, referencing a near-human species called the Astomi, which are, and I quote, "A mouthless race of people said to be cheap, quiet dates."

(random passer-by): Would Japanese live-action "super sentai" characters count? I haven't watched a whole lot of the Power Rangers and such, but one does notice immediately that they tend to wear helmets that conceal their entire faces. Maybe that way it's easier to dub the show into English, because they don't have to worry about lip-synching.

IIRC, it's originally because that's easier to hide the stuntmen, and that most of their dialogue is dubbed in later anyway. It's also why they tend to overact bodily.
