Working Title: =rename of= Mind Trick On Self: From YKTTW
Medinoc: Don't the sleeper Cylons in the new Battlestar Galactica count ? They're infiltrated without knowing it, and that's one of the principles of the Memory Gambit...
Shire Nomad: Memory-wiped sleeper agents might count assuming they volunteered for the process. See Total Recall. But it's unclear whether the sleeper Cylons agreed to do this; with some, it's implied that they're malfunctioning/lost and that's why they don't remember.
Koveras: I removed the following entry because it is more a Note to Self than a Memory Gambit:
- On Angry Beavers, Norbert recorded a tape telling himself how to regain his memories under the Genre Savvy presumption that he'd eventually be hit on the head by his accident-prone brother and get amnesia. It even contained a Shout-Out to Total Recall. His solution? Just let his brother hit him on the head again.
Koveras: I also removed the following entry because it is more a Laser-Guided Amnesia than a Memory Gambit:
- Marvel Comics' superhero the Sentry had his own memories erased to protect the world from his villainous alter-ego, the Void and even gets himself sent to prison. What's more, he also causes everyone else in the world to forget his heroic exploits.
