Looney Toons: Selftitledalbum, I've deleted your comment about Pichu in Super Smash Brothers Melee

This is arguable, there are definitely worse characters in the game.

because it belongs on the discussion page — this one — instead of the main entry.

J Random User: A character who's attacks damge itself is a Joke Character by definiton, I'd say.

Flame Adder: Somewhat along the lines of Dan, is Shingo from King of Fighters qualified? Although (both gameplay and storywise) he's become more serious, he still started off as a powerless Kyo fanboy. Or is he simply a comical fighter (which IS different from a joke character)?

Tavish Artair: Gon isn't a joke character, he's freaking deadly. He's immune to throws and can do appreciable damage, as well as having some fairly out-there moves in terms of effects which allow him to compete in ways others cannot. And no, a character who's attacks damage itself isn't really that much of a joke character. Yoshimitsu from Tekken/Soul Calibur has self-damaging moves, but the rest of them are quite deadly. Maybe if all or their only useful attacks work that way...

Pro-Mole: There are two entries on Pokémon, I'm lumping them.
gibberingtroper: I have a character that I think fits better here than in Plucky Comic Relief even though he's not a video game character:
  • From Kung Pow, the character of Wimp Lo, who was "purposely trained wrong as a joke," who's entire fighting style consists of throwing his vulnerable spots at people's strike points, who runs around in squeaky shoes, and is clearly retarded.
    • The joke is the character himself, not so much what he does in the film. Also, in a film like Kung Pow, its impossible to have a designated comic relief character since every character is somewhat ridiculous.
Thoughts?
