From YKTTW Working Title: Interfaith Smoothie
I took out the reference to "the Unitarian Church". As a Unitarian, I found it slightly offensive. Many non-Unitarians say that Unitarianism or Unitarianism Universalism are "Interfaith Smoothies". And, yes, a lot of new converts to the faith seem to at first think they have joined an Interfaith Smoothy. This is because many of these folks themselves had "personal" Interfaith Smoothies and they become Unitarians to have somewhere to use that approach. But more serious Unitarians and Unitarian Universalists do not take this approach. Dismissing my religion as nothing but an "Interfaith Smoothy" is prejudicial and offensive. I can go into more detail if people want or need that. I am sorry that I am a member of such a strange incomprehensible religion.
