CAD: Whoa, I didn't realize this was a Title Bin rescue. O_o
I remember the old "The Battle Didn't Count" page had a lot of these, so bring on the examples.

CAD: Yeah, it's a subtrope. This is specifically when you beat a boss, then they just bounce their own defeat right back onto you.

Medinoc: The main problem here seems that people fail to see the distinction between this and Hopeless Boss Fight. Half of the current examples actually belong there!
