Working Title: Harmless Freezing: From YKTTW
Pteryx: My favorite My Little Pony toy as a kid was Flurry (http://www.ponylandpress.com/blue/windywing.shtml). I always wanted her to have a magical power. When I grew up, I learned of papillequines (http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Lair/4544/equine/papillequine.html) and noticed that they matched the description of Summer Wing and Windy Wing ponies. Thus, that wish was resolved: Flurry would obviously have Harmless Freezing breath. (It was an 80s cartoon, after all.)
Kilyle: I feel there should be a note here about animals who can freeze and thaw unharmed. Like frogs. I hear they have extra sugar in their cells, which keep the cells from collapsing.
