  • Most of Alice Cooper's repertoire is more about theatrics than the music. Take it from someone who has actually seen him in concert.
    • Again the fallacy that theatrics and musicality are mutually exclusive. I've seen him live as well, on a small stage with no pyro and limited at best special effects, and his musical performance and charisma carried the show quite well indeed.
      • While he does use heavy theatrics, he also has the music to back it up. The theatrics are just icing on the cake, as even he has said.

Would Jerry Lee Lewis setting his piano on fire count? Anonymous: Considering he did it during the song Great Balls of Fire! I can't believe it's not the first example on this page. Was he the first to do something like that?
