Eban: It could just as easily be Four Ex, it'd still be pronounced Four-X.
Eric DVH: Except that X is always spelled X. Ex is From in latin.
Ramenth: Has anyone ever actually used or heard this term used outside of an article on obscure gaming websites? Most people call '4X Real Time Strategy' Games... RTS's, since those "X's" are pretty much required to be an RTS.
