Describe Audience Sucker Punch Discussion here.

Lord Seth: This page is an example of when you do see the fight, it's just made low budget (also, it's generally something that happens throughout the series rather than just one case). Epic Fail is when you don't see it at all, and is usually one case. Moved the Avatar example there. Might be some other things on this page that need to be moved.

  • Including the actual page quote and the first sentence. And to me even the titles sound like they should be the opposite of what you say. —Document N

Charred Knight: To be more precise

Epic Fail: When a scene from an adaptation that should be good comes off as horrible Audience Sucker Punch: A poorly budgeted fight, usually from a shonen anime

Personally I have always felt that this page should be redone with a new name, and a new description. The name is horribly misleading, it sounds like it should be a fight where the fight happens offscreen. I mean does anyone really go into a shonen jump series expecting a well animated fight? In the entire Dragon Ball franchise their is ONE excellent fight scene (Master Roshi and Goku in the first budokai), the rest is either mediocre or horrible (Freeza). I think it should be called somethiong like Budget Kung-fu or Stereotypical Shonen Fight, much more accurate than 'That Naruto fight sucked just like the last ten Naruto fights).
