White Rose Duelist: So is Perry White an example of this trope?
Cynthia Wakefield: Shouldn't Perry White just be listed ONCE? At the very least, shouldn't the TV examples be combined?
Godot Is Waiting 4 U: I move to merge this page with Da Chief, as the two serve essentially the same function. In addition, I move that Perry White and JJJ each be listed only once on the entire page.
Madrugada: While I appreciate the effort the OP put into the Overly Long Gag, I've pulled Perry and JJ up out of the media lists and simply noted which media they've appeared in. I'll work on filling out the description. I think that in reality, this is sufficiently different from Da Chief to merit its own page, but it does need work and Wiki Love. (Da Chief needs Wiki Love and work, as well.)
