Fast Eddie: Pulled out ...

Powerrangers cousin Masked Rider features the planet Edenoi, featuring a race of humans who evolved from insects (both the protaganist and anagonist are from there). Also, a lot of the Monstersof The Week are bugs.
... as it seems to be about bugs, not about Bug War.

Jordan: I wonder if there is a way of indicating that Ender's Game subverts Heinlein's novel by revealing that the Bugs actually are sentient and have emotions.

There's a minor subversion in Old Mans War, although it was a fairly basic "don't judge species on what they're shaped like" and the bug species wasn't mentioned again. Also, the setting of the book is During The Bug War just with a bunch of other species (from weird to stock) instead of bugs. —Document N

Thrawn: I think that Martian Successor Nadesico should be removed from this, as the "Lizards" are never thought to be insectoid, and the example only serves to spoil their true identity.

Large Blunt Object: They don't have to be insectoid to be the enemies in a Bug War, just clearly inhuman and preferably faceless.

Spectre Agent: Does the conflict in Gearsof War count? The enemies are referred to as the "Locust", they have a queen, soldiers called "drones" or "grubs", and use a lot of biological technology.
