From YKTTW

Solandra: Cut List if trope turns out to be there somewhere in the TV Wiki Ocean.

Ununnilium: Edited to reflect that it's not just shooter-games, but any game that uses a third-person perspective.

Schrau: I'm not entirely sure Golden Sun should be listed. I can't exactly name a single point where an exit or hidden item is hidden behind the black, and most hidden doors are usually revealed after solving puzzles or moving obscuring objects.

Big T: It seems that the lead got buried in this one, so I'm copying one from the YKTTW. Feel free to reword it, but please don't just mindlessly remove it, as without some sort of lead, the concept just isn't defined.

Lull The Conqueror: I heard someplace that the use of this in The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly was a conscious stylistic decision... the characters explicitly weren't supposed to see anything the audience couldn't. Anyone know if this is actually true? If it is, should we make a note of this?

Xander77: The ambush scene in Blondies hotel room. Blondie can't see the assassins, only hear them. The audience gets to see them.

Can someone explain to me the picture? I don't quite get how it might relate to the trope.
