Working Title: You\'re Evil and I Respect That: From YKTTW
- Do we really need to put the entries in folders? I can understand if the individual entries are long, but really they're just blurbs.
Vulpy: Folderizing this wee page seems a bit odd to me, too. Also, I'm having trouble really getting my head around this trope. It seems almost like the Insult Backfire, except Alice seems genuinely appreciative of Bob's wicked style. It's almost like a complete inversion of Bread, Eggs, Milk, Squick, too: insult, insult, insult...grudging compliment.
I can't think of ever having seen this played completely straight (and looking at the examples, I wonder if anyone else has, too), but that may be due to Small Reference Pools on my part.
