Unknown Troper: The phrase this is referring to is, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder... or forgetful" Should this be on the page?

The trope itself has nothing to do with the story of King's Quest V. They just happen to have the same name.

Superman?

Lawyer Dude: There seem to be two types of situations here. First where the person moves on because she (and it's almost always a she) genuinely, and with good reason, believes that the object of her affection is dead and gone. Second, there's the situation where she just doesn't know and refuses to wait a "reasonable" time. Like in The Princess Bride or Cast Away, the women have every right to move on. I don't know if we should have separate topics or not here.
