Yes, Rose is a brunette, but her being the subject of Adrian's and Dimitri's affection hardly qualifies as an example. Both of them have perfectly justified reasons for liking (loving, in Dimitri's case) Rose and other romantic contenders are also brunettes (Tasha Ozera and Avery Lazar.)
