My guess is that the lack of edits from anyone else is because either because it's not attracting much traffic (as in, not many tropers visit those pages), or the tropers who do visit it don't edit because they're unfamiliar with the work in question and so don't write new examples. I've seen plenty of pages with a minimal amount of regular editors, so I'm assuming that it's because of the mods obscurity (if they are obscure, I don't know about them) leading to not many tropers knowing that those work pages exist. A low amount of wicks on other pages also means that tropers won't be as likely to stumble upon those work pages in trope pages.

Don't take it personally, some works are simply are obscure and don't attract a lotta traffic among tropers — mods are a subset of much bigger games, and just based on my experience, they inherently get less attention than even other works that have an audience but people just don't really give mind. Sorry if it feels neglected, but I can guaruntee that it's not being like, targeted for being ignored — it's just how wiki culture works, some pages just don't attract attention, it happens.

The pages themselves look good as far as I can see, but right now they are only indexed; by crosswicking your examples to trope pages, you'll give other users more opportunities to discover the work.

But beyond that, you shouldn't worry. I've created pages for works where I'd be stunned to ever get another user's edit (that isn't part of a clean-up); that's just the way it is. Some stuff is obscure, but it has as much right to be here as stuff that's super popular and it doesn't make your effort worthless.

Seconding this. I would definitely recommend crosswicking the work pages you've made. In general terms it's just good for the wiki, since this is one of the main ways that trope pages gather examples. In specific terms it's also the main way that a new work page is going to get attention, since it will make it visible to people browsing the trope pages. Right now, there's nothing that really lets people know that these specific pages exist.

But also what the others have said — pages for smaller or niche works just don't get the same attention or edit density as more well-known works. It's the same for fanfics and a lot of webcomic pages. It happens.

Have to agree with the others. I know I deal in pages where it would be surprising if someone other than me ever edited them. It’s important to crosswicking though - that improves exposure and could lead to more editors.

It’s alright, sometimes pages don’t get alot of attention due to miscellaneous reasons. That’s where tropers such as yourself come in!

Go ahead and go to pages like Pages Needing Wiki Magic if you feel it needs more to it.

Actually, none of the pages were crosswicked at all, which is mandatory. UzarNaimBer15, please do so for all pages. It may slightly increase discovery as a side-effect.

I see your comments and I'm really glad for the info. Thank you so much!!

If it was for me, I would gladly crosswick my pages (from what I understand, it would be adding the work to the trope page they have an example of, right? Like putting the And Now for Someone Completely Different example on Pibby: Apocalypse, probably one of the MOST popular Pibby mods in the community that I also made a page of, on that trope's page). Sadly, FNF mods don't tend to have their examples on their tropes' pages, as far as I saw. But even then, I'm still worried about them because none of my other last year's mod pages were crosswicked at the time and still received (and sometimes stil receives) attention. The Basement Show, Funkin' MIX, Sky Remanifested and a lot of other 2023's pages I've created had a lot of popularity back then, and were updated by others for a long run, even if they weren't crosswicked. Now not even VS Chara or Pibby: Apocalypse, just to name the popular ones in the fandom, are being updated and I'm worried because of it. And I've created a trillion more and none of them are updated as of now.

A majority of my work pages have gone mostly ignored by others, and they're not mods. It's extremely common. If other people on the wiki were interested in these more onscure or niche works, pages would have likely been made before you (or I, or anyone else) got there.
