Eel Pox has hit Berk, striking the chief and its villagers. While Hiccup finds that part of the cure involves eels, Hilarity Ensues for the sick Berkians.

- Toothless, after receiving the cure, coughs up the eel the way that he coughed up fish in the film.
- Call-Forward: Toothless after swallowing an eel injures Hiccup with uncontrollable fire. Ashamed, he then runs away before Hiccup can regain consciousness and get his friend back.
- Chekhov's Skill: Meatlug's weight. It allows Hiccup to subdue Toothless and dispense the cure to him.
- Determinator: Hiccup manages to hold on to Toothless, even when submerged in the ocean for a minute, AND manages to maneuver the tail-fin!

- Mushroom Samba: Toothless goes through a variant after he swallows the eel. It's implied that Snotlout goes through one as well, wanting to lead a dragon rebellion.
- Spin Attack: Fishlegs and Meatlug defeat a Typhoomerang with one, calling it the "Galeforce Gronckle". Fishlegs notes they don't do it often because it makes him dizzy.
