Padawan is a Star Wars Expanded Universe novel by Kiersten White.
The book is about Obi-Wan Kenobi's early years as Qui-Gon Jinn's apprentice, being set 9 years prior to The Phantom Menace.

- Asteroid Thicket: Lenahra has a weird one which reacts to the emotional state of those passing through.
- Gaia's Vengeance: At the end of the book, Loegrib steals so much of Lenahra's lifeforce that all of its animals go on a frenzy and the planet seals itself in a global storm, isolating itself from outsiders forever.
- Planetary Romance: In constrat with the usual Space Opera of Star Wars, the majority of this book takes place in the fairly low tech planet of Lenahra.
- Never Land: Lenahra is one when Obi-Wan lands in the planet, as the oldest of the Lenahrans are still teenagers. This turns out to be a side effect of using the "Power", which caused rapid aging on their parents and family when they were still young, not knowing this, all of them assume that their natural lifespans are short.
