Ninja Gaiden NES
- The underrated Overdrive track from 2-2 of Ninja Gaiden II is awesome enough to get its own modern remixes.
- Act 1-1's BGM from the third NES game. Maybe the catchiest theme in the whole NES library, and one of the best.
- The first game's Act 1 theme. As soon as you pressed Start, you knew you were in for something special.
- The second game's Act 1 theme. The NES Trilogy really knows how to get you pumped right from the start.
- Ryu's Determination (Act 4-2's BGM) from the first NES game has been unanimously considered the de facto theme of the whole series, capturing the fast-paced thrill and action that the game embodies. Enough that in Musou Orochi 3, it gets an awesome remix to represent Hayabusa.
Next gen Ninja Gaiden
- Alma Awakened has an appropriate enough atmosphere for said boss.
- Pray to God has a melancholic tone and a very appropriate title, considering that you hear it just before fighting Alma...
- Tairon at Night is appropriately atmospheric and very cyberpunk-esque.
- Sense of Mission, the music for Ayane's stage in Sigma 2. Surprisingly epic!
- Fuga serves as Momiji's Leitmotif. The use of traditional Japanese instruments in the background notes gives it a special flavor.
- Arachnoid and A Masked Curse are epic for first-level boss themes.
- Rush, damn effective for getting you into the action instantly.
