\\\"Why are there \\\"Real Life\\\" examples for a magical item?\\\"

Because Real Life often proves itself to be at least as weird and wonderful as anything to be found in the imagination? I\\\'d reinstate the section but I don\\\'t want to provoke a flame War.

Ref this lost section:
* Possibly the nearest thing to a glowing green power crytal on Earth is \\\'\\\'[[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torbernite torbernite]]\\\'\\\', which forms attractive lustrous green rock which is somehow warm to the touch. Many an unwary geologist with not enough specialised knowledge has been seduced by the beauty of this rock, only to find the local nuclear decontamination agency forcing entrance to his office/home in order to whisk it away to a place of safety and decontaminate the area. The reason is that torbernite is a concentrated source of uranium, and a reasonably sized sample, viewed or displayed without screening, is potentially lethal owing to its radioactive emissions. This earthly Kryptonite is thought to have been the cause of death of several unwary rock-collectors who put this attractive stone in the place of pride in their displays.
