The animation looks good, but I've seen better CG, in my opinion. It looks like a film I might go see, though.
I don’t even know anymore.Been archive binging on Ruby Gloom with my sister the last couple of days.
Oh, the nostalgia...
I don’t even know anymore.Oh that Eisner. He won't ever go down so easily. Ever.
Seeing stuff like that makes me sad that some shows have changed from traditional to Flash. Really, Arthur? Maybe I only feel this way because of what happened to Johnny Test.
All of space and time, everything that ever was and could have been... and there's still nothing on tv..... how long has that show been running?!
- looks*
SEASON 16!?!?!?
Ever since Johnny Test went flash back around '08, i've had a sher hate for the show. Some shows just don't need it.
The worst thing about it besides Arthur's new animation is how they're running out of topics to discuss, unless they want to go TV-PG style and have a story based around The George Zimmerman trial. (I will never talk about this again. too much dissapointment and drama.)
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceArthur in Flash?? Well, the stills seems to stay true to the hand-drawn DESIGN, I still see the loose pen outlines, so it can't be THAT b— (goes to You Tube)— God dammit.
Actually, my reaction was more different. Like "OMG WTF Flat "What"" different. They must of thought since it's 2013 and kids watch more horrible flash nightmares, it was worth it. Plus they thought it was cheaper.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceWhatever. My thought process is, "Just let them go through the requisite 'poor Flash' phase already so they can get out of it later. All shows do that now."
I'm pretty sure my reaction started like yours King Kix, then shifted to Kyun's. Oh we'll at least not everyone's been bitten by the flash/toon boom big lately. The Wreck It Ralph Bluray I bought yesterday had the Paperman short with it Definitely my favorite Disney short (so far I hope?)
All of space and time, everything that ever was and could have been... and there's still nothing on tvI heard the animation in that short was spectacular. In another thread, they said it was "as if Disney and Square Enix had a baby". Need to check it out.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI remember being very fond of Arthur as a kid. Now I occasionally watch it with my sisters, and when I do, there's loads of references, everything from Macbeth to South Park!
That was THE. BEST. REFERENCE. EVER! Usually, kid's shows don't have the balls to reference South park, considering how much shit they'll make fun of.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceAnd it's one of the few shows where said shit can metaphorical and literal.
(Hehe. 69th post)

So I just watched Paperman.
Holy crap, it was absolutely amazing! Step aside, folks. The king has returned.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Thank you, Roy, for that wonderful introduction for me.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justice...Where the heck are they getting that Space Jam performed badly? Wikipedia says it was a huge box office success.
well i usualy like to watch shows like invader zim or billy and mandy since i like the unique visual styles to them
my fav show is the simpons with ren and stimpy at 2nd place
I don't follow Cartoon Network as much as I used to; my work hours shifted, so no more daytime 'toons. The last one I remember watching and enjoying was Gumball.
From time to time, I'll cue up SWAT Kats or the Pink Panther collection on DVD. Among animated features, Disney or Pixar are a given; sometimes Mosters Versus Aliens or Cats Don't Dance or Once Upon a Forest recharge my happiness meter.
^^ Oh, about Space Jam? It pulled in $90 million in the US, plus another $140 million globally, according to Box Office Mojo. The comparison comes about because LTBiA's director, Joe Dante, hated Space Jam, and promised Warner Brothers that his film would outperform it. Didn't happen; LTBiA was the 25th biggest box office bomb on the chart, last I checked. Though, it has been Vindicated by Cable.

Lately, ive been watching a lot of classic/retro cartoons from the 30s to 60s. Looney Tunes, Beany and Cecil, Yogi Bear, and Popeye to name afew.
I really enjoy the looney tunes cartoons that Clampett directed. Like Eatin on the Cuff, Tortoise wins by a hare, Coal Black, and the Great Piggy Robbery. All are very fun, hilarious, and appealing :)
Supports cartoons being cartoony!
Lemming aside, it looks interesting
Try as it may, Adobe Flash will never be as good as traditionally drawn
To quote Orson Welles, "The French, THE FRENCH!" I'm still going to check it out
