Okay, Trope-Tan as the Player Character, I'm still taking suggestions for the starter and starter's name.
It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing....How about a Treeko named Crono?
It's a plot! ...Quite a well written one too.Lets begin shall we?
Note: Trope-Tan is shortened to Trope on the actual save file, she will still be refered to as Trope-Tan.
Sunlight, she had arrived. Carefully climbing out of the moving van Trope-Tan's caretaker walked out of the small house.
Caretaker: I hope nothing got damaged during transport. Trope-Tan, do you like the house? This is Littleroot Town, this is where we are going to be living now, you even have your own room!
Walking inside Trope-Tan spotted several large Pokemon wandering around, they were organising furniture and boxes around the room. Walking up the stairs Trope-Tan looked at the room. There was a bed, a television with a Game Cube, a computer and a clock. Staring at the clock she realised it needed to be set, now what was the time again?
(What time should the clock to be set to?)
It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing. If the clock doesn't work, set it to Noon. If it does, then set it to your own time.
It's a plot! ...Quite a well written one too.Reading the local time off her wristwatch (Made in Ireland natch) Trope-Tan set the clock, as soon as she had set the hands running again the caretaker appeared at the top of the stairs.
Caretaker: So, how do you like your new room? Trope-Tan: It's very nice. Caretaker: Well, they've finished moving everything in downstairs too. When you're ready you can come down stairs and have something to eat.
Trope-Tan checked over the other parts of the room. The bed was soft and comfortable but the Game Cube was unplayable.
Trope-Tan's aside: Not enough disk space for a minigame methinks.
Booting up the personal computer in the corner Trope-Tan checked TV Tropes, unfortunately it didn't exist in this universe.
Aside: Snap, forgot my hyper-dimensional internet expander. Well, I guess I'll take this potion in the storage system and head downstairs.
Anything else Trope-Tan needs to do up here?
It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing. Not that I can see.
It's a plot! ...Quite a well written one too.Okay then.
Walking downstairs Trope-Tan was quickly hushed over to the television, the screen was showing a plainish building, subtitles displaying the fact that it was Petalburg Gym.
Caretaker: Maybe Norman will be on it?
Aside: Norman is my caretaker's boyfriend.
TV: We brought you this interveiw from in front of Petalburg Gym, back to you Phill.
Caretaker: Oh, it's finished... Well, why don't you have some lunch and go visit our neighbor Professor Birch?
After a light meal Trope-Tan stepped out and wondered where to go...

It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.Check the Lab first.
It's a plot! ...Quite a well written one too.Why not go visit the neighbor?
(Two choices, rolled a dice a dice, evens for neigbours, odds for Lab)
Trope-Tan thought for a moment before deciding to head directly to Professor Birch's lab.
Assistant: Sorry Trope-Tan, the Professor's not here at the moment. Maybe you should check if he's at his house, it's just north of here.
Trope-Tan decided to check there.
Ms Birch: Oh hello. You must be Trope-Tan, my son is a big fan of your website.
Aside: I hope he isn't rabid.
Ms Birch: Our son is upstairs, maybe you would like to meet him? *Yelling upstairs* Brandon! Guess who's here!
Brandon: It better not be one of dad's friends, they're boring...
Ms Birch: *Still yelling upstairs* No, it's that girl from the website, the one with the big quill.
- General sounds of rapid cleaning*
Brandon: You may enter, Madame Trope-Tan.
Aside: Oh my, he's worse than rabid... He's a teenage boy!

It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing. This game doesn't let you name your rival. Well, Brendon isn't that bad.
It's a plot! ...Quite a well written one too.I know it was a throw-away remark, but since it's Trope-tan, shouldn't the watch be from Oireland, if not Scotireland?
How — and when — do you tell a philosophy it's adopted? What do you do when it wants to meet its birth adherents?Space warps around Trope-Tan as the blank holes in the conversation she just had became filled with a name... Brandon...
Aside: Ouch, Retcon.
Climbing upstairs Trope-Tan noticed the entire room was lit in mood lighting.
Aside: This keeps getting worse and worse...
Fiddling with the lightswitch at the door Trope-Tan noticed the sort of nice looking teenager wearing the expensive looking nightgown.
Trope-Tan: Listen bub. I'm not here for anything that could be constituted under Rule34 of the Internets, I am not Fanservice I am only here because I'm looking for Professor Birch.
Brandon: Sigh, okay then, he's probably in the grassy area north of Littleroot. Careful though, there's wild pokemon there.
Trope-Tan: Thanks for the help. *Hurries off downstairs*

It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.OOC: Sorry for the lack of posts, my TV Tropes computer has been in for repairs for several weeks.
It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing. It's all right, just don't give up on this.
It's a plot! ...Quite a well written one too.And we're back.
Trope-Tan walked around to the northern exit to the town, a small boy was standing there. A few moments later a man came screaming into the clearing beyond being chased by a small wolf-like creature.
Trope Tan: I'm guessing that's Profesor Birch.
Kid: Yep.
Trope Tan: I guess I'll have to go save him.
Kid: Yep.
Trope Tan: Okay then.
And Trope-Tan lept into the fray.
Birch: Help! I need help here! In my bag, there's a pokeball! Quickly!
Approaching the bag Trope Tan spotted three pokeballs on the ground near it. She was going to have to make a choice: Torchic, Mudkip or Treeko?
It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.Treeko
It's a plot! ...Quite a well written one too.And I second the Grass-type!
Trope-Tan reached down and picked up the ball containing Treeko, it was time for battle.
Trope-Tan: Hey! Wolfy! Get away from Birch!
The Poocheyna tuned and faced Trope-Tan
Trope-Tan threw the ball, in a flash of red light her chosen pokemon appeared.
Trope-Tan: Treeko, use pound!
Treeko used pound and wiped out about a third of Poocheyna's hitpoints.
Trope-Tan: Keep doing that!
It only took two more shots to finish off the Poocheyna.
Trope-Tan: Good work Treeko!
Birch: Phew, thanks for saving me there kid. I almost had a chunk taken out of me! Nice battle for a beginner, how about you swing by the lab sometime and we can talk.
Aside: He better not be like his son.
Trope-Tan: Okay.
Trope-Tan and Professor Birch headed back to the lab, as thanks for rescueing him Professor Birch gave Trope-Tan the Treeko she used. There was another choice to be made, what will she name it?

It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.Name it Smugleaf, because Game Freak won't.
How about Smuglord?
One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderTrope-Tan looked at the Treeko, a smug smile was still visable on it's face from it's recent curb-stomp of the Poocheyna.
Trope-Tan: How about Smugleaf?
Smugleaf: (Sounds showing approval)
Birch: If you work together with your...
Trope-Tan (Cutting Birch off): Yeah yeah. Grow as a person, gain experience, may the force be with you.
Birch: Right, how about you go visit Brenden out on route 103?
Trope-Tan: Yeah, I'm cool with going out to 103.
Trope-Tan wandered out of the lab and northwards towards the pathway out of town. Nothing happened on the way to the village of Oldale, not even a zigzagoon decided to walk into Trope-Tan and Smugleaf's path.
Shopkeeper: Hello! Welcome to Oldale! Come with me please!
It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.
I recently got a DS emulator on the laptop I use for TV Tropes, so I thought that I should have a LP for the only game I have for it. Then I remembered some other LPs I have read which had lots of influence from the thread. Heres how it will work:
