3 songs and I'm done with Nujabes. Then I have to go....acquire other music from him and DJ Shadow.

Gojira, anyone?

I dunno much about instrumental hip-hop other than DJ Shadow and now Nujabes. Both of which are excellent.

There are a lot of artists, more than you'd think.

DJ Shadow, DJ Vadim, DJ Krush, Blockhead, Rjd2, Jel, Nightmares on Wax, El The Daze...

Theres a bunch more, too, but none i can think of off the top of my head

Madlib, J Dilla, and Flying Lotus come to mind as well.

I dunno what to play now, so I'll listen to some El The Daze. At the least it'll get my underground cred at Last.fm up. :3

Well...I would be playing it if the download thingy would actually work. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF :@:@:@:@:@:@

I command all of you to play Gojira. Best metal band out there playing today, IMO.

I'm in too much a of a mellow mood to feel like listening to metal. And this Nujabes stuff is so smooth...

I dunno. I'm really really fond of The Fall of Troy. As in they're my favourite band.

Though I guess whether they're metal or not is debatable anyway.

NO NOT HERE.

You're playing Nujabes, I forgive you.

I used to be a massive metalhead until this year lumbered by. Now I'm in a state of equilibrium between electronic, hip-hop, metal, and post-rock stuff.

Look at my troper page for an idea of the bands I tend to listen to...A lot of it is metalcore or related, some of it is "real metal", there's quite a bit of post-hardcore, and I'm starting to really get into post-rock. I like other genres too, but I can't think of their name off the top of my head.

Oh, I also like indie rock haha. I just don't have any yet. That list was mostly from my iTunes, though I have quite a bit I didn't put on it. Electronica's cool too, actually.

Yeah, I love Flobots.

Well, I first heard of them from "Handlebars" but because friends of mine showed it to me. I liked it, but wasn't amazed. Then, when Hurricane Ike hit and I spent the ensuing week at a friend's house, his dad played them since it was pretty much all we could do and after listening to the first few tracks off their CD, I fell in love. "Mayday!!!"'s probably my favourite song of theirs.
